I fly all over the country for work and while I’m at an airport one of the most important things is food and customer service. I heard the sandwiches here were ok so I filled out a menu bag and got in line. The girl at the cash register and the other workers first off ignored the line of people waiting in line to order, not making eye contact or even a simple«we will be right with you in a moment». When the cashier finally acknowledged that there was a line ten people deep she finally approached the register. As I was second in line it did not take long before it was my turn. When I went to place my order she was blunt, and rude! Not saying hi, she said“what do you want?” I gave her my order bag and asked for an egg sandwich. She said I filled out the wrong number bag and I had to go back in line and fill out a new bag! I asked her if I could just grab a new bag as I had already spent ten minutes waiting in line. She said hurry up I’m not going to wait for you! I hurriedly grabbed a bag behind me and stepped back to the register. I asked her if she was waiting for me as she had already gone on and was taking other orders. She never looked at me but said, I got a long line of people, what do you want! I took a breath surprised at her blatant lack of customer service and people skills. I then decided that with all the other options available I did not have to settle for being treated as a second class citizen and a bother. I told her that I did not appreciate her rude behavior and it was not worth it to me to spend my money at an establishment that obviously doesn’t care if it has customers or not. And I walked away. Shortly thereafter I ran into another person that was also standing in the same line with me, and they shared that once the manager had come out to the front the same girl that was rude started turning on the charm. The customer I had ran into said herself and others in line also told the cashier girl she had been rude. I will tell Everyone not to go here unless they want to be treated by a sandwich nazi and treated like a second class citizen by rude people. I can get a sandwich Anywhere!!!

There was one employee, a white female with a yellow Santa hat who was so rude! She was cussing the entire time and then literally threw the sandwich across the counter at my husband. Sandwich was stacked poorly. All the meat on one side, veggies on the other which will make any sandwich lover cringe. Great concept though!

I’m not really a sub/sandwich person, but Which Which will do in a pinch. And it worked out fine for a quick bite at the airport.

Pretty cool. This was my first time here and I wasn’t disappointed. I liked the way that they had you fill in your order with the red sharpies. The sandwich itself was good– had the turkey and cookie combo meal. The chocolate chip cookie was warned right there on the spot. Made waiting for my flight pretty good and held me over until I reached my destination.

After hearing good comments about this place from friends, I stopped by for a bite while waiting for my flight to take board. I had ordered their roast beef sandwich which was made very quickly and to order. However, when I bit into the sandwich, while it looked like beef, it definitely did NOT taste like beef. I went back and they were kind enough to not only replace my sandwich with one of my choosing and included some extras as well. The replacement sandwich was very delicious and the shake was superb as well. I was able to forget about the horrible roast beef because of the great customer service after I spoke to them about my concerns. Definitely willing to come back to give them another try the next time I’m at the Buffalo Airport.

Which Wich served a solid sandwich. The Italian Grinder was good and even better when toast. Great location in the airport

Thought this would be a great place to grab some food before hopping on a plan, WRONG! For a place with such a stream lined ordering method, they are surely highly unorganized and SLOW. You grab the bag of which sandwich you want, mark what you want on it, mark if you want a meal deal, hand it to the cashier and bam you are done! Now if it played out that simple, it would have been fantastic. Took almost 25 mins to get a sandwich from here on a slow afternoon. It took so long I was starting to worry I would miss my flight. I went with the black bean vegetarian sandwich, which was actually quite good, despite me eating it 2 hours later on the plane. Would have given them higher marks if their service wasn’t so crappy.

As far as airport food go, it doesn’t get much better than this! You can custom-make any type of sandwich, including breakfast sandwiches, and they’re all delicious! The process is really simple: take a paper bag and a sharpie and mark off all the ingredients that you want. Sandwiches aren’t cheap, but they aren’t nearly as astronomical as many airport restaurants. I would say the prices are commensurate with the quantity and quality of the food. Service takes a little longer but that’s expected when they’re making custom sandwiches for each and every order.

Most of the time when your meal comes from an airport restaurant, you have to bear it as best you can. Who knows what you will end up with? No wonder that so many people line up at McDonald’s and all the other familiar places. Which Wich is an exception — it has some very good sandwiches. Given that I fly Southwest all the time, the location across from the SW gates is very nice. The choices of bread and fillings are pretty varied, so you should be able to find something that you like. The prices are on par with an airport, but the food is worth it. The biggest challenge is figuring out the ordering system, but that is because you might not be looking for it. Really, it is not a problem. Mark up a paper bag by checking your choices, take it to the counter and pay, and then wait a few minutes for the food. Much better than the hot dogs on rollers at the next shop!

I liked the ordering system: you customize your sandwich by checking boxes on a brown bag in red Sharpie to indicate the items you want. I got a breakfast sandwich with bacon, swiss cheese, bell peppers, and seasoning. It was okay. The bread was nicely toasted, but the egg was precooked and weird-looking. There were crumbly bits of bacon, the cheese was easy to miss, the peppers were thinly sliced and raw, and the sandwich maker forgot to add the seasoning I asked for: not a red pepper flake in sight. She was preoccupied with taking a break: this was clearly and loudly being communicated in front of customers. I would give it another shot, though.

Pretty good! Got a large vegetarian black bean sub combo meal w/chips and water bottle for 15 dollars. I really like how you fill out everything you want on the sub on the brown bag the sub goes in. makes it easy.

This is the express version of the real store. It’s adequate but they charge $ 3 for a refill on soft drinks. It’s cheaper to go to the news stand and buy a bottle.

Whenever I fly out of Buffalo, I stop at Which Wich. Last week, I ordered the Bag 6, consisting of a black bean patty with Dijon mustard, pickles, tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers, spinach, and banana peppers on a wheat roll. I enjoyed half of the sandwich in the Charlotte airport and the remainder the next day for breakfast. Which Wich is a good value for the money. Planes get delayed, bring food.

One of the best places to eat in the Buffalo Airport, it’s also one of the only ones with a great vegetarian option. The black bean wrap is filling and excellent. With fresh ingredients, made to order, and good combinations of stuff, I enjoyed eating my sandwich and satiating my hunger. A note about service. It was the day before Thanksgiving — and they were SOOO friendly. Congrats, ya’ll, one of the busiest days of air travel and you put your best feet forward. So great and so friendly.

Decide Which Wich you want. Get a brown bag and a red sharpie. Write a check mark on all the things you want in your sandwich. Don’t just go straight to the cashier, this is not subway. I wish this extablishment also excited outside the airport.

Yum! Tasty sandwiches and subs full of fresh ingredients at the airport. They have nice breakfast sandwiches and an excellent veggie wrap. Their sandwiches are not mind blowing, but it’s higher than Subway-quality. I end up seeking this place out every time I fly out of the Buffalo airport because unless you’re looking at eating some chicken wings from Anchorbar, it’s one of the only decent lunch options. To order: fill out a paper bag with your choices and bring it up the counter. The prices are pretty steep and NYC-airport like($ 11 for a large sandwich with an avocado add on), but they’re worthwhile and filling.

Woohoo! A Which Wich at the airport! Certainly made my choice easy for what to grab for my plane ride to JFK. Close to my delta gate, ordering was easy as you customize your order on your paper bag after you choose what kind of sammie you want. i got the Wicked which came with 5 kinds of meat and 3 cheeses. Delicious!!!

Man! That was a delicious sandwich! Fresh, flavorful, and just a bit drippy… If this place wasn’t at the airport(or I flew more frequently) I’d eat here all the time. I was a bit confused at first about the whole grab a bag and mark it with my choice of toppings, but once I understood the concept I found it kind of fun. My choice of a «small» turkey sub on a wheat roll with Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, olive salad, AND hot pepper salad was super yummy and super fresh. And, since I chose exactly what I wanted… just right for me.

For outstanding consistence in everything — I’ve decided to finally up this location to a five star for what it is! The subs are always fresh and made to order in front of you — the milkshakes a simply amazing and made with real ice cream — again in front of you — leaving nothing to hide! Staff have always been extremely friendly — had a new girl at the end of the line and she made my special sub exactly right — Italian Grinder — double meat — green pepper, banana peppers — crushed pepper — oil — vinegar — mayo — jalapeño peppers — toasted — jack cheese and nothing else — freaking amazing! As for the price being slightly high — I’ve re-thought this one out and the price is exactly where it should be for what you get. And for their unique way of having you write out your own order — people just need to step back and read — it’s really very easy and anyone who struggles through this process has their head in the dirt! I always myself walking to this end of the airport — if not for a meal — at least for a milkshake — chocolate!

Love the option to have a lettuce wrap instead of bread! Italian grinder with pesto, provolone, and lots of veggies was super tasty. Will eat here again if I am waiting for a flight in Buffalo.
