Fast, friendly service. Very home town feeling. We ordered the Reuben sandwich with fries. Generous portions. The ranch dip tastes homemade and was delicious. The sandwiches are made with a nice grain bread and not too much sour kraut or sauce, perfect amount of meat. I would eat it again.

Waited 45 min, no food order lost, waitress could of cared less, no service, eat at your own peril, maybe have a snack before you go, happy Valentine’s day

I stopped in to meet with and interview a man about the local history, and upon arriving, half the restaurant shouted his name; its kind of a down home place like that. While the some of the servers aren’t the best in the world, everyone is honest and good. The food is classic American diner fare, and what I had was delicious! Amazingly, lunch for two was only 15 dollars! All told, I really like this place, and I will inevitably return!

Our experience was good. Had the BLT and ordered decaf coffee. The BLT was good and crisp. The waitress was very good and made a fresh pot, and she apologized when she wasn’t there to top off my coffee.

We just stopped for coffee on the way to Portland from Seattle. The waiting staff were so welcoming that all the six adults and 2 babies under 1 felt quite at home. The cinnamon bun was so big, so moist and had the right amount of icing. The staff were so attentive and cheerful. A great experience.

Whoa, pricey menu! I’m glad I qualified for the«Senior» menu(must be 55) as the prices on the Senior menu were a bit more reasonable. For $ 12.99 I ordered top sirloin and even that was more than I could eat. I got a small portion of top sirloin, a salad, baked potato with everything on it, lots of green beans that were delicious(didn’t have that«can-ny» taste like it was just popped out of a can), and two thick slices of bread. The salad was generous in size, but it was 97.5% lettuce(typical…), one thin slice of tomato cut up into chunks, a few croutons, and WOW, I found a tiny piece of purple cabbage. Although the salad was generous in size(97.5% lettuce), it was a bit disappointing. But the baked potato was great! Sour cream, butter, and bacon bits. The baked potato did NOT disappoint. The steak was a little more«rare» than I prefer, I ordered medium rare, I should have asked for medium. The Senior menu is reasonable, the rest is rather pricey! The only downer is there was a family two booths away from me and the teenage kids just HAD to make sure EVERYONE heard what they had to say despite their parents efforts to tell them to keep voices down… If you are staying at one of the many hotels on Interstate Avenue, this restaurant is within walking distance to any of them. If you are passing through in an RV, there is room to park the RV as long as it’s not busy. I walked from a hotel.

We thought that the food was very good and amount of food fine. We would come here again if we were in the area.

Breakfast was awesome. I had corned beef hash and eggs and i couldn’t be more pleased. It had huge chunks of homemade corned beef. Came with a scone which was also very good. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The bathroom could be fixed up but it’s still 5 stars in my book.

Got hungry driving down I-5 and this seemed like the best bet. Glad we stopped by! Had a great turkey dinner. The service was fine and the other diners seemed happy. Give them a try!

Wish this was closer to home! Food was great with big portions and friendly service. Homemade bread, soups and pies added to the great menu make it worth coming back!

Average diner breakfast. Service was ok(little slow). Probably won’t stop again, but better than McDonalds or Jack in the Box. Had the Mt. St. Helen Explosion breakfast lots of potatoes not a lot of meat.

I was not expecting much with the low reviews but they earned their stars. I tried the steak and eggs and every thing was cooked perfectly. My steak was even medium like I ordered it. The waitress was awesome at keeping my glass full. I didn’t check the restrooms. I will be back!

After trekking from a restaurant with dismal service, we were delighted by rapid, friendly service and excellent food. Both cooks kept the steaming plates coming, while 3 servers darted between regulars and weary travelers.

Must say the services was far from par. I would comment on the food but I am not sure since they have not brought any out for the post hour sitting here. Should have read the reviews first. Even my wife who grew up here commented on what a fantastic little place this used to be growing up. We came at 10:37 and it it’s now 11:20 and bio sign of edible substance. Mmmmmmm… Jack in the box out is next time.

Been here twice, both times I got the breakfast, I mean honestly, do you go to a diner and expect an excellent burger? Diners are about breakfast and pie! They have hand made scones, twice the size and much better than fair scones, ABSOLUTELY have one or you will be missing out on the best part of this place Corned beef is amazing, so is the chicken fried steak, good flavor, good portion, cost is about the same as any chain. I will certainly return, if for nothing else then for a cuppa and a scone

Food was terrible. Service was terrible. There was food in my water when she gave it to me. The water glass was dirty! Bathrooms are really gross! They were not clean and feces on the floor! I walked in and then just walked out of the bathroom. I will NEVER be in there again!

Simply put, the service was underwhelming and unsurprisingly, the quality of the food mirrored this. When entering the premises of the restaurant, a waitress failed to greet us at the door in a prompt manner and instead, my party was forced to wait for a couple of minutes. The building was not pleasant either, whether that may be the numerous flies that bugged the tables or the noticeably old infrastructure. I have been here a couple of times in hopes of discovering any worthwhile menu entrees so far, I have failed to do so and I doubt a possibility of doing so exists. The quality of the breakfast plates did not equate to the 10 $ish prices and the omelettes were subpar at best. The waitress was not in the realm of politeness and instead showed impatience and snappiness. If you are looking for a breakfast dinar, look elsewhere as it is not very hard to find places with better service/food.

What a great place. Super cheap breakfast($ 6.99) that is tasty & service is fantastic! The good: — Service — Value — Steaks & Prime Rib — Salads — Cheese sticks & amazing marinara The Bad: — Occasionally understaffed — Tartar sauce has a heavy horseradish taste The So So: — Pancakes — Fries

We went there at 11:30 on Wednesday July 172013. We were in Wa visiting and my mother-in-law was wanting to grab a quick lunch at McDonald’s… I DONTTHINKSO! I was desperately looking for something more like actual food so we were headed to Denny’s when we looked across the street and saw this place. Huge banner with«Steak and eggs» across the front immediately caught my husband’s eye. We had no idea what to expect when we walked in… Looked clean enough when we went in and had a slightly«touristy» quality about it. Waitress was nice enough, took our drink order and made some suggestions for us since she knew we were not regulars. The husband went with the steak and eggs, and the mother-in-law and I went with the small sized portion of «chicken fried steak» with soup instead of salad. I have added photos of the plates. Food quality: Excellent. Hot, Fresh, Seasoned nicely. The husband’s steak and eggs prepared exactly as ordered. Price: Excellent. Portion size: Large. Service: Friendly and worthy of a 20% tip I had the Tomato Basil soup, it was very rich but tasted like it was home made. They brought out a plate of THICKLY sliced bread that tasted home made it was WONDERFUL!!! I would absolutely go back to this place again.
