The food was a little bland and cold in some spots. The Napavine Jalisco’s is MUCH better!

The chicken poquito’s are awesome! The burritos are huge and the value is excellent. If I lived within 150 miles, I would drive here regularly to get my Mexican food fix! Yum!

I was there Saturday night, the server was in such a hurry to take our order, he forgot items. When we 1st sat down the water glasses were disgusting & we had to ask for new ones, the menu didn’t accurately describe the meal, & When ordering a side of sour cream beware $ 2.50& it’s enough for 3 people although they don’t tell you that they just bring everybody a side & charge for all of them. Very disappointed this use to be a great place !

We came to this restaurant because we looked online and they had some vegan/vegetarian options on the menu posted online. When we got there the menu was completely different then what we saw but our waiter assured us they can make anything we saw on their«old menu» which is what we found online. Our waiter was funny and joking around with us. My sister is vegan and my brother in law is vegetarian which, I think, isn’t something they come across often because he kept messing around with them. The food being placed on our table was an experience all in and of itself. My sister ordered a vegetarian burrito and the thing was bigger than her head! I got the tacos al carbon and they were awesome! My husband got some weird beef dish he wasn’t too happy with but it was still a massive amount of food. The prices are a bit up there but the amount of food they give you is so huge that you don’t feel like you are being ripped off. The food came out hot and fast and, overall, was super tasty. The only downside this place has is the atmosphere. When we walked in we almost walked out because it’s super small and cramped and the cleanliness looked questionable. The ceiling is really low too, one guy hit his head as he was walking to the bathrooms and had to slouch the rest of the way. If they updated their restaurant a little bit they would probably get more customers but overall this place was super good and I would go back.

Yes, please. Being a fat gurl you can trust that when I tell you the food is good I mean it. I still have the Polaroid the staff took of my boyfriend and I in 1996 for his birthday. I am so glad they rebuild after every flood. I used to live across the street(now cascade trader) so we could just walk over and we did. Yummy. LOVELOVELOVE. We still go back for his birthday every year, and a few dozen times in between– see you there!

A personal favorite! The staff is always nice, and the food is great. Portions are LARGE, so be ready to take home leftovers.

This place is alright. Basic mexican food I suppose. Being from california and having real mexican food, this place was a little basic and definitely didn’t have much spice or pizzaz. The food is in gigantic portions, and definitely worth the price. The only thing that really bothered me was when i asked them what was in the tortillas and beans and rice they gave me a strange look and didn’t even really check and just immediately answered no… with hesitation. Being vegetarian it is super important for me to ask if food has lard, or chicken stock, or any animal products used, i want to know. Anyway, after i had asked the waiter I saw the girl working at the front desk give him a weird look because of my questions. It really bothered me.

Plaza Jalisco, in Chehalis, WA, is a hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant. That being said, you need to know: they have the best salsa on the planet. I’d better repeat that, just to make sure you don’t miss it: The. Best. Salsa. On. The. Planet. I am specifically referring to the hot salsa, which looks almost olive green. This is not a red salsa, or a pico de gallo — this is tasty liquid fire in a bowl. Be warned — it’s hot, but super flavorful. We’re not talking extract of capsaicin or anything, but oh-so-good. I had a friend bring me four pints of the stuff in styrofoam cups. By the time the salsa made it to me on the Eastern side of the state, there was hot oil seeping through the walls of the cup. I didn’t care; this stuff is amazing. Life changing!(Well, if not life changing, at the very least, it is *sinus* changing…) Oh, and the rest of the food is pretty tasty, too. I can’t think of anything I’ve eaten here that I haven’t enjoyed… but the salsa, oh Lordy, the salsa…

If people think this is «authentic» mexican food, I feel sorry for them. Everything at this place stinks. Canned /froozen run of the mill junk. The service is even worse.

This place has the hands down worest service i have ever had. the food was pretty bland but not bad. I think that most white people would find the food here very good. over all the service was the big killer for me.

Stopped here from Posrtland to Seattle… have to say it was a pleasant surprise and the service was great. Had the carne asana and it was excellent… we are from Los Angeles and found it tobe pretty authentic!

We stopped here on the way home to the Bay Area from Seattle and were very impressed. Good, basic Mexican food. Portions are very generous. I had a combo with chile relleno and a picadillo chalupa. The chile relleno was completely unremarkable, but the chalupa DH had the Jalisco Special, and it was delicious. Looking forward to our next road trip!

Ai Caramba! It was truly a Xmas in July experience)) We had a quick bite to eat on July 9,2011 and were curious to know why all that time the singer was dreaming of a white Christmas, then Jingle bells followed, Then Feliz Navidad… after half an hour we started to giggle. I prefer«it’s 5 o’clock somewhere» theme on a hot summer day. When our food arrived a lady with a sprayer leaned over the second story of a restaurant and started spraying the tiles by the entrance on the first floor. She was spraying some sort of a disinfectant mixed with high consentration of bleach. The smell was nauseating. We had to leave shortly after since bleach and food do not mix.

My favorite mexican restaurant ever! The simpliest things are sooo good here. The best enchilads i’ve ever had and they are also one of the most reasonable thing on the menu. They master the chimianga seafood or chicken, the seafood one is a bit expensive, but extreamly rich with scallops, shrimp and other amazing stuff covered in a delicious white sauce. The super burrito, I didn’t even know tortillas were made that big. The servers have all worked there for years and don’t miss a beat. Your glass is never empty nor are your chips and salsa. Lunch specials are unbeliveably affordable with full plates, same as dinner for usually $ 5 or $ 6. I’ve eaten here many times and never had a bad experience. Be prepared to leave very full.

Fine, Fine traditional jalisco food here. Festive atmosphere, can get loud. Usually packed — or is that because my family alone takes up 3 – 4 full booths? Lots of seafood, lots of cheese, lots of good food. The sopapillas are memorable, and if it’s your birthday be prepared for a seranade. Great spot.
