It’s a chain restaurant. So you get a solid, consistent menu — same food, same portions, everything; no matter which one you go to. Bread is fresh baked. Service is excellent. The place was clean. The staff were polite and attentive to our needs. I overtipped and would again. This is as good as a chain restaurant gets. Downside? Salt. The food had so much salt in it, you just couldn’t convince me anything was prepared fresh. I wanted to dock them a star for that but that’s not a reflection on this Bertucci’s — that’s the downside to eating at a chain restaurant. Portions seemed a touch smaller than I remember but they also haven’t raised their prices in years, so that’s to be expected.

We visited this past weekend for lunch because we had a gift card from Christmas. Serve was great and the food selection was plentiful. Prices were on par with other chain restaurants of the same level. The grilled Tuscan wings were good and the cod picatta was also good. I liked that they allowed me to sub the angel hair pasta for veggies(although the server didn’t tell me there was a small up-charge) My husband said the flat bread pizza was too thin, it was like a «cracker» base instead of a thin chewy pizza. Service was great. Bathrooms weren’t clean. I probably wouldn’t return.

Ordered the same pizza I always do, sausage and onion… They always skimp on the onions so I asked them make sure they put extra onions on it… They charged $ 3.00 for what amounted to ¼ of medium size onion(maybe a couple ounces… Considering onions are about 60 cents a pound it seems like gouging to me…

Dear Bertuccis After years of going to Bettuccis I’ve realized my problem with this place. Everyone who works here just talks about how they work here. It’s really loud and obnoxious. If this restaurant hired people who didn’t just talk about work then I would maybe return for breadsticks, oil, pizza, and TIBORRRRR Here are the offenders by name Brabra Shortney Cara(Kai-ra) Sarinya Glasses

I ordered carry out and got it home to find that several dishes in the order were wrong — chicken instead of shrimp, cheese on orders when we said there were allergies, etc…

I normally love this restaurant(other locations at least) but tonight when I went i was disappointed. I ordered raviolis which o found a hair in after my first bite. And my boyfriend ordered spaghetti and meatballs and the meatballs were burned on the outside so much that they were black but when he bit into it it was cold and undercooked. We left the restaurant after telling our waitress about both meals.

So it’s a chain, but it provides a pleasant atmosphere and good hearty Italian fare. Service not always great but always friendly Bertucci sampler and prosciutto pizza are favorites Great sandwiches and salads at lunch also.

I’m not a fan of Bertucci’s but there’s one dish I used to like, we had a gift card to burn so we figured what the heck. My husband got a three topping pizza and was ok with it. I thought the sauce tasted raw, as though it came fresh from the can. Argh makes the Italian in me cringe. I got the tortolini and chicken gratinati. It was so salty it was inedible. The rolls, chocolate layer cake and cheese cake were great! Thank goodness, or I would have had nothing to eat. Even the Caesar salad dressing was prepackaged and lackluster. Oh well, the gift card is gone and it will be another 5+ years before were go back!

Looking to try something different for take out, ordered Chicken Marsala, small cheese pizza, and Tiramisd TOGO, Chicken tasted excellent, nice and tender, served with roasted potato’s and sauteed green beans, my friend Carrie loved her cheese pizza, and The Tiramisd was sweet, creammy dessert. Also I used a coupon 10.00 off togo order over 30.00 dollars, but only good on Memorial Day weekend. I was very happy with the Bertucci’s in Chelmsford and will return again very soon.

Had a nice table in the back with family about a week ago. They were very accommodating as we were in for a late dinner around 8:30. I think we ended up being the last people there, and we didn’t feel rushed to leave at all. Our waitress was attentive and the food was good. We had some wings, chicken Parmesan, piccata, salads etc. and everything was on point. The rolls were also kick ass as always. Bertuccis is always good because you know your gonna have a solid meal, and you seem to be able to find them everywhere. No frills but they get the job done.

Bertuccis is a decent chain for Italian, they do some dishes very well and others so so but I feel they are worth the once a month visit or takeout. I have takeout more often than dining in

If you’re down to just indulge in a giant carb-a-thon, this place is great. Hot rolls and dipping sauce rock, the pizzas and pastas I’ve had have all been great as well as the pizzas(bolognese, spaghetti and meatballs, shrimp scampi, pucillo pizza). My boyfriend orders the chicken parm every time and has never been disappointed. For chain Italian food, I’d pretty much always pick this place. I had a dinner salad once that I thought was really mediocre at best and overdressed so that’s why just stick with the other stuff on the menu. Nothing fancy or life-changing but really tasty and the service is great. Really busy at dinner time so try and go early!

This is a great restaurant with great service. The host is a very polite proper gentlemen who always gives great customer service. Food is delivered hot and delicious. I do understand it is a chain and not home cooked italian but for an affordable family dinner this is the place to go. Loved the chicken scampi.

Delicious food all the time. The kids love the free dough to play with while we wait and the pizza dough rolls and oil really hit the spot. I typically get a margarita pizza with chicken as it’s just as good the next day for lunch too. Great staff and easy parking make this a good choice for dinner any night. There is a bike path near by which also makes it a good place to ride to for lunch

Not impressed… I expected more & received less. Not much flavor to the pizza. I asked them for a «well done» pie and what I got was soggy dough with a thin layer of sauce with government cheese. Most Bertucci’s put out a very good product… what happened here is a mystery to me.

The part that wasn’t burnt tasted pretty good. The other half was burnt but I didn’t check it before I left. The waiter made the pizza which surprised me — judging by how he cooked, he should stick to taking orders.

It’s a typical chain. Plenty in the way of comfort foods, flavors are a bit better than say the Olive Garden, but still nothing to impress. If i had a choice, I’d rather eat lunch at any of 10 or 12 area restaurants, unfortunately my boss is a fan so I end up here every once in a while. My advice, stick to the basics with red sauces and not overly complex flavor combinations(something like chicken parmigiana or the pizzas). While it’s not excellent it is passable for a meal at least. Anything more complex than that, stay away.

This is an atypical Bertucci’s. The space is small, looks old and doesn’t have a bar. There was a 25-minute wait for a table last night(Tuesday). My friend and I bailed and went to Brick House Pizza around the corner instead. We were seated immediately and I had a cold, fresh Harpoon IPA in my hand in about 3 minutes. Pizza was about $ 7 less than Bertucci’s, and the atmosphere was fun. I’ll review Brick House separately. Let me know what you think of this review by clicking a button below. Thanks.
