Cost Cutters

I went in with a very vague idea of what I wanted and my stylist was able to give opinions of what would look good on me. There are not a lot of stylists who can do that these days. I rarely care who I get when I go for a cut or color but now I’ve decided I need to keep my stylist at Cost Cutters. I had a partial foil, color and cut and my hair looked better than it has in a long time.

So let me first start by saying that I have found great hairstylists only twice in my life, and have just found my third!!! I often find that many stylists become almost over confident in themselves and their abilities and they seem to forget it isn’t just about them, but the client too. In my opinion in order to be a great stylist you need to listen to the client, and I mean truly listen, ask questions and not just «yes» the client to death. That being said, it was a Sunday and I was getting ready to go to an appointment booked a different salon that I had never been to when I received a phone call with some crazy, lame excuse as to why they were canceling my appointment… So of course I was freaking out… I was really looking forward to it!!! So what was a girl to do??? I went on Unilocal and decided to give cost cutters a try as they have great hours and I have limited free time. I called and explained my situation at 2:30pm and they close at 5:00pm on Sunday (because everyone wants to work on the weekend I’m sure!). The woman on the phone asked how quickly I could get there and to come in as soon as I could. So I got there at about 2:45pm and was greeted by a lovely woman named Daniela who showed me to her chair and put me at ease immediately. I explained that I had wanted a full foil and cut but I would completely understand if she only had time for a partial, her response «We have plenty of time for a full foil! Don’t worry!!!» She was thorough, efficient, and guess what she listened because I left there with exactly what I wanted!!! So happy with her work and have received tons of complements on it, from women and men alike — (now that’s saying something!!! When men who aren’t «obligated» to mention these things to you notice how great your hair looks!!!). I will definitely be a repeat customer not only because Daniela was fantastic, but the other stylist were a pleasure to talk to as well as they were genuine and down to earth ladies making my time spent there relaxing and enjoyable!!!

I loved cost cutters both times I went to get my hair done. I had different stylists both times and they were both super friendly and talkative, and listened to what I wanted done to my hair and exceeded expectations. The prices were the most affordable I’ve found yet, and I have finally found a new salon I can go to on a regular basis without breaking the bank.

I needed a haircut. Wanting to try a new place, I saw a couple of good reviews on Unilocal for Cost Cutters in Chelmsford. I went there to try it out. It was $ 15 for the cut, shampoo wasnt included. The lady that cut my hair did a good job. I did not catch her name but over all I got the haircut I wanted and the price was good. I will repeat.

Cost Cutters comes through again for me!
It was Friday night, I wanted to leave the house, and I knew that I needed to get a haircut sometime in the next week. I called Cost Cutters and asked their hours — they told me that they’re open until 9 PM. Mind you, it’s also Good Friday and they’ve got these nice, long hours that are super convenient to accommodate me on a whim.
When I got there, they were cleaning up the place and there was absolutely no wait for a haircut. Nicole did a stellar job on the cut and beard trim and I had a coupon to boot, since I’m on their mailing list.
It’s nice to know that I can count on this place for a last-​minute haircut at non-​traditional hours!
