We had 2 cracked IPad screens and an Apple Macbook Pro repaired at Laapy Fix. The owner, Tom, was professional and courteous and knowledgable. The devices got fixed in a very timely manner as did the laptop. The laptop was fixed to perfection with half the cost that Apple quoted. Highly recommend this computer repair shop.

Lappy Fix has never actually fixed anything for me. I’ve had them look at two laptops. The first time the owner determined that the motherboard was dead, and I declined to replace it. No charge. The second time, he figured out that I needed to buy a new AC converter. Again no charge. Both times he waved off my offers to pay him for his time.
In telling this story I’m not suggesting to bargain hunters that they should expect free or cheap service. I assume that Lappy Fix charges a fair rate for his work, as everyone is entitled to do. What I take from my experience (besides his competence) is that he’s not interested in nickel-​and-​diming his customers — he has a no-​nonsense way of doing business that I like.
