Very tasty food, and great value. I ordered chicken vindaloo, chicken tikka masala, chana masala (chickpeas), baingan bharta (eggplant), naan, and samosas. I asked for some heat, got just enough, and I was happy that it wasn’t «dumbed-​down» for a non-​Indian. The only proteins available are chicken and «fish» (no lamb). The ordering procedure is still a bit unusual (no formal menu or explanation of dishes), and you have to know something about Indian food to place an order. That said, the owner will make just about anything you want. I had a pretty big order, so she also threw in an Indian dessert, free of charge, which was a nice gesture. I think I will make this my go-​to place for Indian food, and support this hard-​working woman, but I’ll have to do a little extra research on other Indian dishes before I place my next order.

I had the Chicken Biryani, and loved it Very tasty. The chicken was nice, the spices great, and the rice just the way I like it. Yum…
Not really an eat-​in, but a takeout place. I wish I lived closer and I would order all the time :-)

We ordered a combo, and it arrived an hour and half later than promised, after multiple phone calls and broken promises and excuses as to when they would arrive. The food was ok, but completely cold. I do not think they understand how a restaurant in the US works — they seemed to think timing doesn’t matter! Hard to judge the quality since it was cold and we were unhappy with the service.

Still confused how this place works– I think you need to call ahead to order anything off the HUGE menu. I just showed up and was given what she (Unnati) was making that day…
I agreed to just get one of each of what she had on hand which was paneer in some kind of (delicious) creamy sauce, samosas, and a chicken that was in a green sauce… and she gave us a generous amount of naan as well. WOW! All amazing. The paneer was my favorite, samosas full of flavor with the right amount of spice for me to feel like it had some kick and enough that my mom, who cant handle spicy also enjoyed (she said it was «warming» vs a more intense spicy which was pretty accurate). Unnati was very kind, easy to chat with and I felt like I was in the kitchen of a new friend who was letting me test what she making that day. I love, love indian food and this place is the REAL deal… I’d love if Unnati offered more and not just «made-​to-​order». I’ll come back.
PS: The saffron icecream was DELICIOUS.

I came here twice at opening hours on 2 different days, both days were closed. Food wise is pretty good but they should keep up with their opening hours! For that I’m giving 2 stars only!

The charming owner (‘Unnati’ I presume) takes very good care at her small café! The plate of chicken and yogurt sauce I had was out of this world, for a small suburban shop. Though at this writing she’s been open less than three months, it is already clear that she is on a path to real success — a great product, joy in what she does, and kindness.

Everything I’ve had from here so far has been outstanding. Everything is cooked to order which takes a little longer, but so worth it. You can put your order in at any time and just tell them what time you would like it ready for.
Flavor profile was deep and complex with perfect spice, you can tell that a lot of time and thought has gone into developing these recipes. Order any heat level you like. Be aware that certain dishes require additional preparation time and may need to be ordered a day in advance.
While most of the items take some time to prepare there are a few ready to go snacks available such as somosa’s and a wide variety of cookies/​sweets on display. I’m not big into sweet things but the jaleebi was very good.

Super friendly owner and great food! She will custom make anything you want, and everything is always fantastic. Not only that, but I don’t know of any other Indian places that deliver in the area. Definitely deserves the 5-​star rating!
