Supercuts

I’ve had two good haircuts here and most recently a tea tree oil scalp massage. The customer service is good but be warned they are good at the upsell. The prices are fair and it’s a nice clean place.

The manager is really condescending. I talked with her for quite some time because I wanted some highlights when I came back a diff day she was getting her hair done and tried to send me to someone else. I said no I talked to you and she gave me a rude face and pretty much told me it wasn’t happing. I will not be going back

The woman cut my ear. I kid you not! THE WOMAN CUT MY EAR. Pretty sharply. That is not acceptable for a hair salon. I’m going elsewhere. These guys seem to hire the incompetent losers. I’ll pay $ 2 more and get a haircut somewhere THAT DOESN’T CUT MY EAR!

SuperCuts… where I get my haircut!
This store opened last year in the Mystic Mall/​Market Basket Shopping Center a few doors down from T-​Mobile and Five Guys. I’ve gone there ever since it opened to get my haircut.
I’m picky about my hair as I get a flat top, so it has to be done right. Once I’ve ‘trained’ a hair dresser how I like my hair cut, I tend to stick with that person (even if its at SuperCuts).
Location: Great location. In the Mystic Mall shopping center, tons of free parking.
Price: Good price, average for a hair cut at these types of places (i.e. SuperCuts, Hair Cutter, Great Clips, etc)
Services: I only get my hair cut and my beard trimmed there, but I do know they offer a full range of salon services, like coloring, perms, and waxing.
Staff: I pretty much only deal with the girl that cuts my hair (Julie) but I’ve talked to the other staff, and they are nice and friendly. (And typical hairdressers… kind of catty too, which is fine!))
It seems like people are happy with the service they had performed on them (i.e. haircut, perm, etc), as I’ve never heard someone be all upset with how their hair came out (usually I just hear «wow that looks great»), so its obvious the staff knows what they are doing.
My only real complaint is… (and it’s not a real complaint)… Since i request the a particular person, I have to wait for them. And the way SuperCuts does their system, jobs are handed in the order they came in. So if I want to see Julie and she has two people ahead of me (one in the chair, and one waiting). I have to wait for both clients to be done. (again not a real complaint. I should just call ahead and put my name in!)
Overall I’m very pleased with the services I’ve received at this SuperCuts location. I’m giving this place 5 stars!
