Baymont Inn Cherokee

Nice, clean hotel. Nice rooms, decent television & soft beds. Like the refrigerator in the room. Hot coffee in the lobby. Good location, a little outside of the main area of Cherokee. Mostly quiet, but NOT room 126. That is the last room on the first floor, right next to a door to the parking lot. There is also a door to the stairs right outside that room. They are heavy doors and people rarely shut them quietly. So, that wasn’t going to work for us, so I asked at the front desk to be moved. Unfortunately, they were booked solid, so, they couldn’t move us that night. They did move us the next morning once they had a room cleaned. That was much better. We would stay there again. Close to the smoky mountain park & the blue ridge parkway. Pretty close to Bryson City too!

Nice clean rooms and friendly staff but the breakfast bar is slim pickings compared to other places I’ve stayed. I would definitely stay here again.

My boyfriend and I decided to drive the Blue Ridge Parkway in its entirety (all 469.1 miles of it, to be exact) and grab any hotel near the end of it. He had stayed in this Baymont Inn before, so we decided to go back to it.
I believe the name of the woman who checked us in was Sue and she was fantastic! Very nice and accomdating for two travelers who looked exhausted for driving an entire day. She set us up in a room and recommended some places to get food.
The room was pretty basic, a little dark, but perfect for just an overnight stay. The room was very clean, the bathroom was spotless, and the beds were comfy. I slept like a rock!
If you’re looking for affordable accomodations in the area, I highly suggest checking out this Baymont Inn location.

We stayed in town so I could visit the campus of WCU (about 35 min away) and complete my degree. The staff was friendly, providing maps and directions, as well as advice of what to do in town. The room was incredibly nice, although I wish the AC would blow colder.
The con, they put cookies out in the afternoon/​evening. After one guest took three back to her room, the front desk clerk commented that she wasn’t going to bake or put any more out. Seriously!!!
All in all, a great value, and a good location.

Surprisingly great at reasonable prices. Clerks friendly and helpful, good free breakfast, free coffee all day, cookies in the afternoon. NIce landscaping, plenty of parking. Hassle free, comfortable stay near Harrahs. Glad we stayed here instead of the casino.

The rooms seem to have been remodeled recently and are equipped with very nice bedding, new bathroom tiles/​marble counter top. There’s also a fridge and microwave in each room, which is helpful since there are not a whole lot of restaurants around (in case you want to shop for food at a grocery store). The service from the old lady at the front desk is excellent and she goes out of her way to be super helpful.
This location is very convenient as it is very close to the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
