This is not a zoo! It’s a building that keeps bears in tight cement quarters! They had a baby bear in a very small cage. I wouldn’t put my dog in such a cage! It is above an ice cream shop! The only area that is clean is where the goats are but that is small too.
This is a crime!

The Cherokee Zoo provides a bunch of animals for the people of NC. There are goats, bears, monkeys, and more and you can feed them (don’t know about monkeys).
Have had several visits here and they were the best! They take the best care of the animals, and they are healthy.
You can go to the front desk, buy a feeding bucket with apples, bread, and lettuce for the bears and you can also feed the pygmy goats for 20 cents.
I’ll return to the zoo! It’s the best around.
