I am highly disappointed I drought my daughter here for a treat. Her ice cream was fine but mine was NOT a Reese peanut butter cup sunday. First our server brought me a reese peanut butter ice cream with fudge and peanut butter sauce. Wth that’s NOT what I ordered then it’s taken back and I’m brought a Reese peanut butter cup Sunday with all vanilla ice cream and a small amount of fudge and peanut butter sauce on the top! That is NOT what it’s supposed to be!

This is the worst friendlys I have ever been to. The place is an absolute mess. The booth we were seated in was ripped. Tables around us left dirty, the carpet going into the kitchen is all ripped up. Totally scurfy. The food was ok. Staff acted like the place was packed even though it wasn’t. Waitress had a lack of training. Management was very nice with our issues. But owner needs to redo the seats, carpets, etc and retrain the staff.

The service was slow and the server kept forgetting to get anything we asked for. She brought everyone’s drink but my water and I had to ask reportedly for her to bring it to me. That aside, I ordered the fish and chips. Most places serve this dish with vinegar. When I asked for vinegar our server advised they did not even have vinegar in the restaurant. Very disappointing. The desert was the only thing worth the trip. We were so frustrated with the service that we got our desert to-go.

I have no problem with their food. In fact Friendly’s has always been one of my favorite places for a casual meal. Recently I called and placed a to go order. Only when I googled Friendy’s Cherry Hill, I called the wrong one. I called the one about 20 minutes down the road. So I arrive at the wrong Friendly’s to pick up my food not realizing what I haddone. I walk up to the take out counter and despite 7 or 8 employees who stare directly at me not one of them asks me if I need help. I guess assuming someone else had helped me. They are to busy flirting with each other and joking around. So now I’m annoyed. Finally a waitress comes over to use the register in front of me and I ask her if someone can help me. At this point it’s been over 5 minutes. She says sure hold on. I wait. It was getting busier so I’m trying to be patient. Finally a woman comes over and asks me how she can help. I say I’m there for my takeout order. She says ok let me check. Well first red flag is she never asks my name. I have to call out my name to her. She’s ok and goes into the kitchen. Never see her again. A man walks in and is immediately greeted by someone and places a take out order for ice cream. He is promptly served and leaves. I say to the employee will someone please go check on my order. It’s now been 15 minutes. My sister is waiting in the car with my baby. It’s getting late and I’m getting more annoyed. Someone comes out from the kitchen and says sorry about that, they are getting the order together now. I say ok. I take a seat on a bench. A woman walks in to pick up an order. They bring her food out and ask if it’s mine. Nope. The woman says oh no that’s me. Pays and leaves. I wait 5 more minutes and finally someone walks up to the counter. What was your order? It dawns on me they never had my order despite telling me several times they were getting it ready. Now I try not to be rude but at this point I’ve been sitting ther almost half an hour. I say you don’t have my order?! He’s like which Friendly’s did you call. I say, this one I guess. He’s says will I think you might have called the other one… and I cut him off. What difference does it make now?! You e wasted a half hour of my time. If someone had just taken the time to greet me we could have figured this out 30 minutes ago. I would have placed my new order and waited. Instead I sat their like an idiot because they told me they were getting my food ready. I stormed out and will never go back there. Most of the employees seem young and I get its just some dumb job they don’t care about but I’m sorry it’s unacceptable to have me sit there 30 minutes even if it was my fault.

Got a recommendation from a friend to try this place for breakfast — terrific food and also all breakfast meals were 50% off. Also added a side of bacon — 5 – 6 strips costs a little over $ 2.00(also at 50% off). And if you like your bacon extra crispy they do it perfectly!!! Service was good.

If you want great food at a very good price especially if you want ice cream for desert I would recommend this restaurant. we had a group of nine with at least 5 checks and they had no problem taking care of us. and the food was just right.

I almost all the time come here for their ice cream sundaes, it just so delish and tasty and you really can’t go wrong with any flavor and topping that they have. My favorite and one I recommend is getting the Reese’s peanut butter topping sundae as I just love the chocolate and peanut butter taste it gives. I have tried there food it’s decent not the best you can def eat in a better place. But do come here for their sundaes you won’t regret it

The only reason I’m giving this place 2 stars instead of 1 is the ice cream. Everything in the restaurant seems sticky and slimy. The food is greasy just for greasy sake, with no real reason or purpose. Super low quality food. Its basically a fast food restaurant with waiter service. Gross.

I think most people are familiar with Friendly’s. I am not a fan of chains. But I was with other folks who live off of that crap. So, of all the local and iconic joints in the Philly area, my friends wanted to go to Friendly’s. So, ok, here goes a review of Friendly’s in Cherry Hill, NJ. First, all the servers were, well, friendly. The restaurant was clean. Drinks orders were taken early. We were in town for the Monster Mania convention and the hostess noticed and commented on it right away. Huh? Perhaps a fellow geek? Plus! So after scouring the menu, I wasn’t sure what to get. After doing the con thing all day, and not eating since some halfway point on the turnpike, I was extremely hungry and worn down. Should I get a melt, the fried chicken, or one of the special burgers? Then I noticed the custom burger order form. Jeepers! Time to craft my own combinations! So I ordered a dbl burger with some pink. I ordered the brioche roll. Then I added all the goodness. Cheddar, Frionions, Bacon, Pastrami, kosher dill pickles, lettuce, red onions, and Heinz 57 sauce were checked off. As a side, I ordered standard waffle fries. The server was really patient with us as we were yapping and trying to figure out our orders. She had to return several times and always with a smile. So after a short wait and some great conversation, our orders arrived. This burger was massive but looked delicious. I had to smash it down, a bit, to eat it. Dang, brother! It was good. It was all the pastrami and Frionions, I think. The taste of the pickles blended perfectly with the sauce and cheese. This thing was a flavor explosion. A real shock for me as I was not expecting such a great burger from Friendly’s. Nothing special about the fries. They were good but nothing out of the ordinary. We were so full that we couldn’t order dessert which is always the big thing at Friendly’s. So onto the bottom line. Service was perfect. The place was clean. The manager even came out and asked how everything was. The food was good. The price was ok. So, I was pleasantly surprised. If there was one negative, it would only be the completely sterile and generic chain atmosphere. That is what I have grown to hate about these types of places. Nothing the workers or managers can do about that, though. Cherry Hill, NJ Friendly’s gets 4 stars. Good job!

On May 6, 201212 of us went to Friendly’s on rt 70 because it was close to our hotel. All 12 of us were getting on the road to go back to our home states. We were in NJ for a wedding. Now I have been going to Friendly’s for years and never had bad service. This was beyond bad service and rude. It took 30 mins to get soup, 11⁄12 to get out meals and one person only order TOAST and never got it. We asked to speak to the manager who came over and said she would check and come back, which she didnt until we ask to speak to her again. they sent out half the food, which was not hot. 4 of the ppl with us had to get on the road to travel a few hours to get back home(Boston, Phoenix, Connecticut, and DC) the rest of us were just going back to Philly. I asked to speak to the manager again, I asked her was the district manager available, she said oh no he is on vacation but the owner is here. Ok so can we speak to him. He processed to tell us there was something wrong with the computers and printers and that is what was taking so long. Since when do u need a computer to cook food? but anyway, I said well why didnt someone come over to us and tell us what the problem was. he said im so sorry we can take a percentage off ur bill. I said ok. the ppl that did not want their food sent it back. The bill came and it was $ 87. ok so where is the percentage off. He said oh no, i cant do that i took the meals off that ppl returned. I got up to walk out. My husband said babe we should pay something. So for the ppl that ate their food we decided to pay for those meals only. We took it to the register the manager said this is not the right amount i will call the cops because this is stealing. My husband said you can call them and i will tell the cops we have been her for almost 3 hrs, we still have not received TOAST and we are offering to pay a portion of the bill and you are not trying to accept it. To top it all off no one had on name tags so we are not sure if we were speaking to the manager or owner. I called the corporate office to report this location. Never again. Do not go to this location.

I have come to realize, Friendly’s restaurants are fast food, served on plates, just fast comfort food. Hardly anything healthy, unless you get stuff on the side. I went here with coworker, he ate, just got something small. It was still very bad for you. This location sits in plaza, where old Home Depot was, on rte.70, weird entrance, but the staff is young, probably high school, college kids. My coworker got fish sandwich, it was fried. Most of the food is, I venture to Friendly’s on my way back from shore once in awhile, but that’s about it. Food-Ehh.Not the best., not worst, but sure the hell take you off your healthy regimen!!! Not even worth the calories! Ehh
