Went here for a routine eye exam a months weeks ago. Dr. Spechler is awesome — very kind, always letting me know what he was doing when he was doing it, and answered all my questions fully.
Unfortunately his front desk staff did not operate with the same level of professionalism and care as he. Upon my visit, one woman in the front office was downright rude in our short conversation about how I’d heard of the office.
When I called back a few days after my exam to dictate an old prescription that Dr. Spechler had requested I call back with, the woman with whom I spoke made it clear that she was annoyed that I had so many numbers to dictate (as if was my decision to format lens prescriptions such that they are hard to dictate). I offered to email the prescription but she said that would not work.
I hope Dr. Spechler can revamp his front desk staff. Unfortunately I won’t be sticking around to find out.
