I ordered a vanity online and my contractor was not able to remove a wall. Long story short, I needed to return this 300lb vanity and order another one in a different size. I called to schedule a drop-off of the old vanity and the manager of the bath section was incredibly rude. In addition to him, every person I encountered at this Menard’s was extremely rude and did not try to help me at all. They were very dismissive and transferred me multiple times until someone hung up on me.

Such a disappointment! The staff is arrogant and could care less about the customer. Many problems with delivery… run don’t walk away from this terrible customer service!

I went to Menards yesterday to buy some heavy brick for around my fire pit. Before purchasing them I asked the salesman if someone could help me load them in my truck because I could not lift them myself. He said«Sure». When I went to the back gate the guy at the gate called someone to meet me per my request. A worker named Dan met me and helped me load the truck. I had to make 2 trips because the brick was so heavy.(27 pounds each.) When I came back for the second load I met the guy at the gate again and asked him to send someone to help me. Then I drove back by the bricks and waited, and waited, and waited. I tried to load some in my truck by myself but they were too heavy and for health reasons I am not supposed to be lifting anything heavy. Three different trucks came and left with customers loading their merchandise. 3 different times I asked those customers to tell the guy at the gate no one has shown up to help me. One customer told me good luck because Menards has been like this for the past 4 years. I waited again. Nothing. By now it has been over an hour. I called the store on my cell phone and was not very happy about this whole situation. They finally sent someone out. He loaded my truck in 10 minutes and I drove out to the front gate. I told the guy at the front gate this store is not run very well and he asked«why»? I told him I know he got the message from 3 different customers that I was still out there waiting for help and he said, «I radioed for someone to come each time.» As far as I am concerned… if Menards wants to keep customers I recommend they hire more people to help out in the delivery and garden center. This customer will never be back to this Menards. Home Depot and/or Lowes you have won my business. Menards… I will continue to tell my story about your service but it seems that many other people have already experienced the same thing and your lack of service. Stay away from this situation and this store unless of course … you have all day and nothing better to do…
