Curly hair girls please do yourself a favor and go see laylani. This place is truly a hidden gem in Chesapeake. What a blessings she was. The receptionist was also super sweet and kind.

Website, Facebook, and Unilocal says they’re open until 5, I’m in the parking lot at 1245 and they are not only closed, but have no hours of operation posted. I went into the business next door to see if maybe they knew of a lunch break that the salon takes and she informed me that sometimes they just don’t come in.

From the customer service to the talent, BRACHA is a hidden gem! Any curly girl knows how difficult it is to find a stylist that appreciates and understands curly hair! That’s why I’m so glad that I met with Leilani. My hair looked dull and limb after a year of heat damage and a keratin treatment that I think completely changed my curl type, but her DevaCut, treatment and style kicked the life back into my curls. I’ve already scheduled my next appointment for October. If you’re a curly girl, I highly suggest scheduling early and meeting with Leilani!

Wonderful salon!!! I have extremely curly hair and this was the first time I left a salon and did not have to go home shower and re-​style! They specialize in curly hair using the Deva cut and my hair looks fantastic!!!

All of the stylist are tremendously talented, and they really are a fun group of ladies. The staff are always learning and training so that they can be up-​to-​date on new techniques and products that may benefit their customers.
This salon does more than restore your mane to a crown of glory, you leave feeling nurtured inside and out. Be prepared to walk in a stranger and leave feeling like family.
They always offer you tea, water or coffee to enjoy while you wait or are being serviced.
And the scalp massages at the shampoo bowl are amazing!

HIDDEN GEM! You probably wouldn’t guess because they are located in a strip mall right around the corner from Supercuts and Food Lion but this is major value for your $! Honestly, the best hair cut, style and color I’ve ever had! I don’t live in the area but visited 4 years ago and loved not only the results but also the whole process from the consult, to the amazing hair washing, and talking to Leilani during the styling/​cutting. Since then I seriously have not had the same experience anywhere else. and I’ve tried! Been up & down the big cities on the west coast, AZ and Hawaii. You know a good cut when it starts to grow out, or after the first time you wash it and it still looks fabulous — that’s what I got here with Leilani (haven’t tried the other stylists here, but she is the owner and I’m sure her staff is just as fabulous).I was lucky to be able to go back again while on vacation this week and the treatment is still unwaveringly amazing. I always hope that stylists will give me ideas on what to do with my hair and I leave it mostly up to them, after all, they’re the experts. They always do the same thing — mainly a trim. With Leilani she’ll actually recommend something and see how you feel about it and even ask about lifestyle to decide on the best style to fit your life! I’ve watched her do things to my hair I’ve never seen anyone do — which are the secrets in getting your hair to go from budget cut to superstar hair! There are a lot of choices in the area — but you will not be disappointed if you try them out. I live 4 hrs away now but will make the trek to get my hair done here every couple of months. Oh, and they’re super friendly — not snobby like a lot of high end salons (which they are and probably could demand higher prices elsewhere)!
TIP: Ask about the Caesar treatment during the hair wash. Heaven! My boyfriend (also got his hair done — ALSO amazing!) was asleep & snoring in 3 mins during this process!

I went there for the first time yesterday per a recommendation from a friend. It was the best experience I’ve had in a hair salon… ever! I will never go anywhere else after going to Bracha in Greenbrier.
I had Laurie, who a new stylist to Bracha (although not new to the trade — she told me she’s been doing hair for about 20 years!). She was so sweet, and listened to everything I said, gave great advice when needed, and did an amazing job on my long hair.
A HUGE plus — I got a head and hand massage while getting my hair washed! I was so relaxed, I almost fell asleep (which is crazy for me at a hair salon, when I’m normally nervous that my long locks will be chopped to pieces).
I highly suggest this hair salon to everyone. They are personable, helpful, and so kind! I was also offered a cup of tea as soon as I walked in the door, and was even offered later in my appointment if I wanted it heated up. I know, a small detail… but to me, the little details tell everything.
Next time you need a hair cut, or even just a relaxing time, go visit the fabulous hair stylists at Bracha! I can’t wait to go back. :)
