Ballston Spa, NY
Family owned hotel with great rates and friendly staff. The beds had feather pillows and there are movies at the front desk. All for under 60 bucks. Outstanding!

One word… RUN…
It reminds me of something out of a bad Quentin Tarantino film… the desk had movie rentals, and I don’t mean Disney, and the rooms didn’t have light bulbs… I walked in and immediately walked out. They told me no refunds, then I told her I was sure she would have no issues with the fact that I wanted the police to come by to «inspect» the group that was circling the property… I was immediately given a refund and I proceeded to the Marriott!
