Red Roof Inns

Just discovered the hotel has way over charged me too! I’m so upset over the entire experience my only recommendation is sleep in your car on walmart pillows and avoid the headaches!
Flat pillows
Worn out chairs
Over bulling
Rude staff
Lousy housekeeping
Not enough towels for all guests
Seriously stay away until this facility gets its act together and be sure if you stayed recently that you triple check your bank account!

Not a bad price and we came for cheer competition every where was sold out we got the last room… Never stayed at a red roof before. This one the lady up front was sweet gave us a great room now it’s not the holiday inn but the bed was ok pillows was flatter then most but we had our so no biggie. The room was very clean. which was a big plus it’s quiet which was nice pretty big room love the light above the beds we have double cause competition. Shower was ok but wish had little more pressure but was ok. Lots of hot water. Tub was clean. Half to ask for hair dryer up front. No coffee maker in room but coffee in office … Or was a is next door. Has a microwave and fridge. But for 60 bucks I can live with that. Lots of shopping close by and 20 min at most from va beach

Well In spite of my bad review the Red Roof Inn fully refunded my last stay. I will give them another try when I go to NJ in Sept.

Surprising. On a road trip with a small dog. Needed a quick inexpensive overnight. Arrived at 11pm and left at 8am. Am used to staying at Starwood Group hotels and the Ritz. Online reservations were easy. Front desk was quick and friendly. Room was clean with wood floors. Bed was a king and comfortable. Shower pressure was great. TV was flat screen and easy to navigate. Wireless was free and there was an in-​room desk, safe, microwave and frig. A good deal ($ 70 with tax) for a specific purpose.

Staff was friendly upon arrival. Room was newly remodeled with synthetic wood floors. I love this and wish more hotels would do this. Lets be honest, hotels do not clean the carpets in the rooms. Pretty gross when you think about it. The room also had a nice desk to work at, newer flat screen, fridge, microwave, and newer countertops. Bed was not sagging, actually pretty comfortable. Overall a great room for the price. Many places to eat across the highway.

Day 1: So far, not going well. We checked in July 31^st and although there was a non-​smoking sign with the threat of a fine, the room smelled of smoke and had cigarette carpet burns. I reported it immediately and the lady Kathy at guest services said she took note. Next, we had to stop unpacking to go swap out the remote because the batteries were dead. At this point, I realized that guest services was becoming annoyed and could really care less.
Day 2: Found tons of hairs in the bathroom in and out of the shower. Disappointed that we had to leave yet again to go to the front desk for the iron. Then we found there is no ironing board, and they dont mention it unless you ask. Both women we have dealt with have poor with customer service. Oh, and there is shampoo, but no toothpaste? This is my first and last Red Roof Inn experience.

Looking for a nice place that’s cheap? This is it! Considering the price, it’s totally worth it! Room is standard and clean. Staff is friendly.
Considering how much you spend on it, you get your money’s worth. Went back down to buy another night.

Stayed here for a night on way to fly out of Norfolk airport. Basic hotel, standard rooms, room was clean although toilet had a few weird burn marks on it that would not come off. People hanging in parking lot looked a little sketchy but once you are in the room it’s fine. The front desk staff was especially nice!
