Did takeout last night and sorely disappointed in the food. We got lots of sauce with each dish and they overpowered the dishes. The hot and sour was so hot that you couldn’t taste the soup. The shrimp and snow peas had undercooked snap beans and it looked like a brown mass of stuff. Same goes for the lo neon. I couldn’t even recognize the noodles and again the sauce killed the true flavors.

Just picked up lunch from China #1. I ordered the typical American favorite General Tso’s chicken. The flavor of the General Tso’s was non-existant and the texture of the chicken was soft and slimy. The fried rice was dry and flavorless. I also ordered an egg roll to go with my meal and it was nothing special either. The price was very cheap($ 6 for everything) and the food was ready within 10 minutes. More than likely will not return, just not for me.

Have been here many times…10 or so times. Overall the food is very good. Always get the chicken fried rice, general Tsao chicken and they have been consistently good. My favorite is the special house low mein. They add a generous amount of shrimp, beef, etc to this dish. They pack all their serving containers full to the brim… great value. Appetizer spring rolls are always great. Call ahead as waiting in line to order can take a very long time. They will always answer the phone to the detriment of the customers actually waiting in the store. Call ahead and your order will be ready when you get there… never had to wait when I call in the order.

This place deserves more than a 3.5 star rating. They have amazing hot and sour soup and they actually have Orange shrimp which I haven’t seen very common around here & tastes very good. As expected they made our food in less than 15 minutes and everything was ready before I got there…

Def yummy food for quick Chinese. Not too much better on the chicken and the food was made fresh when we ordered it

Unforetunately, I had the bad fortune of being sick directly after eating this food. While I am not necessarily letting that contribute to the review, that experience will color it. My wife and I ordered the three dishes: moo shu pork, Szechuan chicken and fried scallops. I have never ordered the scallops anywhere before and probably won’t ever order them again. Chewy, cold in the center, but a nice sweet taste. The pancakes for the moo shu were more like paper napkins than rice paper roles. The one good piece was the Szechuan chicken, the vegetables were fairly fresh and there was a good variety. I would say that perhaps their food is hit or miss. If you are in a hurry, they are very speedy for a neighborhood Chinese takeout. Happy eating!

Quick, delicious, cheap and filling lunches. What else could you need? If you like steamed entrees, the steamed shrimp & mixed vegetables is a winner!

We don’t live in the area. Our daughter saw this store as we were passing on our way to our hotel. She likes Chinese food(we all do) so we stopped in. My wife ordered chicken with cashews, our daughter ordered beef low mein, and I had sweet and sour chicken. Everything was well cooked and tasted marvelous. As other reviewers noted, the restaurant was nice and clean. There were a few tables inside but I gather most of their business is take out. The prices were good: I fed three for less than $ 15.00. One other thing I liked: the cooking area was right behind the register, so you could see the cooks work. A great place.

I wanted to get some food on Easter Sunday and since most places were closed I figured I’d go ahead and get me some Chinese food. China 1 is right down the road from me so I went ahead and went over to get some takeout. The place is really unusually clean for a Chinese place(see my pictures) so that’s a definite plus. The girl waiting on me was semi-friendly but not anything special. I got a couple of egg rolls, some Pork Lo Mein w fried rice on the side and an order of Hot and Sour soup. The Lo Mein was pretty good, nothing great, nothing bad either. The rice was pretty typical as well. The Hot and Sour soup was a nice change of pace, it was more hot than any other hot and sour soup I’ve ever tasted. The picture I posted makes it look hot, well because it is. If you don’t like hot food then skip this soup. The egg rolls were pretty good but a bit overcooked I think. All in all this place is pretty decent. If you’re looking for a nice place to eat-in for lunch this would be a pretty good place to go as the inside is pretty nice and they have a fish tank to boot.

Best Bourbon chicken I have ever had! The dining room is spacious ANDCLEAN! Very Very Clean! Service is fast even when they are busy. Their combos are a little different with white rice instead of fried, but their food is excellent
