Front desk service is awful. Maybe it’s an ESL thing. Rooms smell musty. It seemed like housecleaning was interrupted mid-service: the bathroom floor is dirty, packaged soap in the middle of the counter, half open plastic cup wrapper. Too exhausted to switch rooms & complain. I’d expect this from a low rate. But i’m being charged $ 130/night. Never again, Update: just realized that the bathroom was never cleaned. Bathmat on floor, soap in tub. Switched rooms. But this place is a dump. Holes in furniture. Furniture in lobby is covered with off-the shelf sofa covers from the hardware store, If I could rate this place a negative, I would.

If you are a contract worker and need a place to live in for a couple of months it’s great! If you are a tourist, well let’s just say the location is horrible(I booked online). The pool made me feel like Alice in Wonderland when she grew out of the dormouse house! The room was good and everything was clean. Although the tissue jammed in the missing peep hole was a little disconcerting!

Very dirty hotel. Everywhere you look there is a splash of something on the walls, chairs, desk floor. The bed was comfortable, but that is the only positive here. I won’t be back. Gross.

This hotel looked nice on the outside, but the woman at the check in desk was rude. She made us wait while she finished her phone call and then refused to honor the price we found on the comfort inn website. She made my girlfriend and me feel so unwelcome at the inn that we decided to go elsewhere and pay considerably more.

Three stories, interior entrances, elevator, indoor pool. The attitude of an employee can influence one’s opinion of a business, and the desk clerk here set the positive tone for my visit. As i checked in she not only recognized me at a Choice Privileges Elite Diamond member, but took a moment to thank me for my support for their chain. My king room was large. The room included a couch, chair with ottoman, separate microwave/minifridge area, nice work desk and a hdtv. Room was clean, surroundings were quiet. Very nice lodging option for the area.

Very nice rooms, lovely décor, and close to a main road, so there are a lot of shopping areas nearby. Very reasonably priced.

My adult daughter, her boyfriend, myself and two dogs set out from the DC area to the Outer Banks Sunday Dec 26 and drove into worse weather than expected. After being stuck for a couple of hours on an exit ramp we sought shelter at Comfort Inn. They were extremely accommodating. Even the local Dominoes chain made one final delivery so we got to eat dinner. They also let us stay beyond check out time as we made our decision to push on. The room was clean and comfortable. They made a rough day end on a high note.

I stayed in 12 of 2009 and 12 of 2010 as well. In 09, the hotel had literally JUST opened and seemed a bit out of order. I remember thinking the building was brand new, looked really nice and the rooms were nice as well but the pool and gym were not opened yet. In town once again for the holidays I came back a year later to see what if anything had changed. Overall, the building itself is very nice. I would probably give it a 3 or 4 out of 5. What it lacks is Service. We stayed 24 – 27 and bathrooms were done only once. I brought and blow up bed and asked for an extra bed set and was told room was already at capacity. On the 26th, there was a massive snow storm. The locale, being unaccustomed to this weather, basically shut down. No food was available anywhere close. I had asked desk staff & later manager for some milk knowing full well that there is a closet with these items for continental breakfast… My request was denied as it’s labeled for continental breakfast. I find this to be very unaccommodating to your guests. I do hope they learn to think outside of the box. On a whim I decided to ask for something unusual to see what kind of response I would get… I had asked to borrow a computer mouse. I was told it was not his property to lend out and it belongs to the hotel. I said I understand but would return it promptly. He apologized but stated he could not lend it out, we thanked him anyway and we went on our way. Overall, I think service needs to be improved(hah, not that I need that mouse, but the answer I was given is just a sign of a deeper problem, one being that they are not at all concerned about their guests requests and or needs) I was really miffed about the milk. The town was shut down and I know that someone there had a key to get into the refrigerator where the milk was kept. I simply had heart burn and needed something to calm it. Also, why a half full hotel could not provide me with an extra bed set is beyond me . Next time I am in town, I will most definitely find somewhere else
