This place is one step above McDonald’s but not quite as good as Burger King. Enough said.

Yup I love cookout ! This is one of my favorite places to eat. I order the cookout tray every time and add a milkshake of any choice for $ 1. With my cookout tray I order chicken strips, hush puppies & a bacon wrap. Yummmm. I’ve tried all kinds of milk shakes from Reese’s, banana, snickers, mint chocolate chip etc. I like that they have one of the largest sweet tea cups you can order with your cookout tray. The service is always steady, I’ve never had to wait a long time for my order. The drive thru is also very helpful for when im just on lunch break. They make their food fresh which is always a blessing. I do recommend getting sauce with whatever you order because their food do seem to be a bit dry. Although I like my food dry others may not. If you haven’t had a chance I do recommend this place to anyone especially with their cheap prices for a decent amount of food.

The only reason this is getting a two is it’s fast and cheap. There’s a five guys across the street, just saying…

I always pick up a cheesecake shake when I’m in town. Hubby gets hot dogs. My sister likes the pulled pork sandwich. My nephew swears by Cook Out for cheap food but I can only really comment on the shake.

Best fast food ever. I love the variety and the«Tray» is the way to go!!! Food is always fresh. Simple but delicious. I go out of my way to find a Cook Out. I’ve never had a bad experience at one.

Look, let’s be real… the food is great for what it is. Hot, fresh, fast and cheap. Don’t come here looking for health food, organic food or anything else to feel good about yourself. This place is all about the self indulgence and high calorie goodness of extra sides, cheese, grease and bacon served with a Diet Coke. The chili dogs are excellent with great snap, the burgers are hot with just the right amount of grease to just start soaking the bun. The fries and onion rings are very good. Everything here is really good and cheaper than it should be. Come, indulge, hide the trash from your spouse… ALLGOOD!

Pretty disappointed in the food. Got the bbq plate for 3.99. Came with frise pulled bbq, coleslaw and burnt hush puppies. Fries are ok, but that’s about it. Service is really slow inside, but the drive through seems to be pretty quick. Won’t be back

Been here a couple of times and all in all its good. Cheap food and lots of food. I got the cookout tray, regular cheeseburger with lettuce and ketchup and chicken nuggets with fries. Burger was good. I like how they grill them, super tasty! The Nuggets were generic and fries were good to I had a bite of the chicken quesadilla and it was really good. Gotta get that next time! Oh and they have cherrywine which is a must as well

Our go to place whenever we can’t decide what to eat during lunch break. Their burgers are okay. The chargrilled chicken sandwich is better. I eat it so much that I’m somewhat immune the taste already, sadly. I love their hush puppies, too. taste better than most places around here. The fries are always fresh and yummy. There’s something about the quesadilla that’s so addicting. I always get it as one of the sides. I like that there’s a lot of side options. Also their milkshakes are Bomb. Peach cobble Cheesecake milkshake is my fave! BBQ is a hit miss, tho.

The food was edible. It poorly presented. I mean it looked as if someone just tossed the pickle half way on the meat and the condiments were an afterthought. Did I mention the soggy fries? Oh, BYTHEWAYCHOPPEDUPCABBAGEWITH A BITOFWATERDOESNOTCOLECLAWMAKE. Just sayin’ Hummm, what else? Let’s talk about the service. The young woman at the counter was EVER so friendly(sarcastically said). I felt no warmth, no welcoming, no sense that«I am pleased to be employed at all,» from this young lady, THEFIRST face one sees when entering the eatery. The milkshake was really really good. So, I’ll eat at home and come here for a milkshake. Yeah, that’s what I’ll do.

I stopped by at lunch today and was pleasantly surprised. This was my first visit to a Cook out and I enjoyed it. Had a single burger, fries and sweet tea for $ 7. The burger was really good and the fries are ok. The place had a nice ambiance, the staff was fast & friendly and I would definitely visit again.

The one star is for this Cook Out location in particular. We love Cook Out in general– not gourmet food by any means but it’s pretty good and you can’t beat the price. My problem is with the staff. Incompetent does not begin to cover it. Horribly rude kids, and every single time we go– EVERYTIME– our order is wrong. Not just incorrect but also complete meals left out! And if you go in to talk to a manager– forget it. You quickly realize why the idiot children taking your orders suck at their jobs– the manager is clueless. So give Cook Out a try– just not this one.

This is the closest fast food to my house other than Panda Express and also good for what it is, drunk or sober ;D

First time eating at Cook-Out. Also the last. Decided to try this over Five-Guys, since it was a fairly new(to me) place. That was a HUGE mistake! We both ordered the double burger, plain with cheese and A-1. Fries, I had the chicken nuggets, my wife the chili; and a drink. I was a bit hesitant when I saw the prices($ 4.99 each for all of this!) and my hesitation was well deserved. One of the first things to catch my eye was the extra charges — 35c for A-1? Really? Extra charges for tomatoes as well. Talk about miserly. And they had no right to be such. We got our orders. Remember the old commercials for Wendy’s with Clara who always asked«Where’s the beef?» These burgers were exactly like that! The patties were miniscule, were much smaller than the buns in diameter. Paper thin. The cheese was melted, but seemed to be a normal slice. The A-1 sauce was so skimpy(a few drops) that I had to go back and ask for a cup, which they wanted to charge me for! The«sides of fires and chicken nuggets — three little nuggets that make McDonalds look huge. The fries were good, not as many as you get at other places, but ok. The chili was nothing more than catsup and BBQ sause mixed together, with enough meat(?) to make it look chunky — it was absolutely horrible. My wife ended up running to the bathroom and throwing up after a couple of bites. The friend that was with us had the same, except instead of the nuggets, he got a chicken qesidia(sorry about the spelling!). There was a ton of cheese, but almost zero meat — it was a total joke. I guess this place makes it on cheap prices, but it cannot hold a candle even to McDonald’s — at least you get some appreciable amount of(questionable) meat on their sandwiches, and the size of the patty matches the buns, and the thickness is not measured with a micrometer. Overall, it was a horrible waste of money. We left not feeling the least bit full, but feeling ripped off. However, if you are close to dead broke, this may be the place for you to try. But beware, you may be as disappointed as we were.

To the point… The food is quick to come out for a reason it’s lack of detail in preparation and small portions is why the food is so cheap. I ordered the double burger combo with onion rings and chili for my sides. The burger was flavorful but it was smaller than a cheeseburger at Mcdonalds. The three miniature onion rings as one of my sides were pointless and overcooked(burnt). The chili was severely oily and arrived in a container you would normally put ketchup into next to the drink area. I also took advantage of their sweet tea… I am big into sweet tea and have been around this country and tried it all. Be prepared to have diabetes on your first sip because I was looking for the tea in all the sweetener I drank. I will take the extra 2 seconds to go to Sonics or 5 Guys that are a block away. They may be a little more costly but at least you’ll have a good meal.

After listening to endless hype about this place I decided to try it out. Here is what I have conclude. I get the draw of it, it’s pretty clean inside the food is cheap, it comes out fast and if your more then one person it can mean a quick and easy meal without a large expense. The quality of the food is on par with the major chains, mc Ds, burger-king but with more grill flavor, I’m not sure if it comes just from the grilling process however or flavoring in the meat as well. This location served it’s purpose for me today, large amount of food, quick and pretty cheap. I ate inside, it was clean and spacious. The huge burger to me is the best value and closest thing to a full suez burger they have. The milkshake selection is also vast with over 40 combinations. I think I would have given it 4 stars if the attention to the food prep was better and not so focused on production. Meaning when you open your burger it’s not some oddly shaped patty that’s sliding to one side as you chew it with a huge half of onion on top shifting with every bite.

I’m not going to write a novel on Cook Out. The prices are good, their hamburgers are great, fries are kinda ok but more-so disappointing because I really, really wanted them to be better than 5 Guys all-around. The worst part about Cook Out(as I alluded to in my tip) is the customers. My favorite foods on Earth are cheeseburgers and fried chicken, yet I’ve avoided this delicious burger because being at Cook Out makes me feel like I’m trying to get a laptop at Walmart on Black Friday. Every time I drive by and I see both drive-thru lines stacked with cars, it just kills my taste for that burger. I’ve even had 2 close calls with drivers leaving Cook Out’s idiot-go-round of a parking lot while trying to get in and out of Denny’s next door. I’ll go back when the hype dies down.

Tonight I tried the food at Cook Out for the first time. I ordered the combo thing. Two hot dogs, fries, a bacon wrap, and a drink. I think this was around 10pm. It’s now 1:00am and I’ve thrown up from it. And this was all I’ve had today. Yeah, I won’t be returning. Not sure what is up but it didn’t sit well with me. I think it was the bacon wrap or the hot dogs. Btw, sorry for the TMI but this needs to be said. I used the restrooms and it’s that time of the month for me… There were not little trash cans in the stalls for me to dispose my lady products. This really irked me.
