Best pizza! Awesome customer service! Don’t let this awesome local restaurant disappear. My sister says they are the closest to real Italian pizza!

We have been ordering take out or delivery here for 30 years but we have stopped and will no longer be back. Too many times have they messed up our orders, left items out, delivered in bad shape and been rude when we called to get things resolved.
The menu says club sandwich is ham turkey and bacon, everyone knows those are the meats on a club. The owner says we don’t put bacon on the clubs, what? The menu says it comes with bacon, the world knows and expects bacon but no. It came with bacon for the last 30 years but ok be rude, no bacon for you.
Sad to see a place like this go down hill. We have put up with a lot of little things over the years but always came back, mostly out of convenience and the cheesecake. The food has always been pretty good but attitude counts too. Far too many places earn our business.

I was craving pasta for dinner. I always pass by this place and finally got a chance to try them out. It’s surrounded by a bunch of some-​what failed businesses so you can miss it if you’re not careful. Nice and clean place. Not what I thought but it was still a nice place.
I got an order to go. I chose spaghetti with mushroom sauce. It came with bread and a side salad, I got Italian dressing with it. It was good. Nice rustic and developed sauce; noodles weren’t over-​cooked which is a plus in Italian cooking. If I had any critique it would be that it came with too much sauce. I don’t mind extra sauce but if I wanted soup I would have gotten that instead. I wanted some meat too but a side of sausage would’ve costed me like $ 5 extra; no thank you. I was still satisfied with my meal though.
The wait staff was nice. Cute blonde and sexy men. That’s a nice combination. I will come back for another take-​out order. I would love to try what else they have to offer.

I ordered an extra large pepperoni pizza it was $ 17.55 for delivery. I expected a little more maybe a bigger pizza maybe like an EXTRA large but it was simply just a large. It was very delicious however, I just expected more. I will give another review once I visit the establishment. They were fast and friendly with the delivery. It was a nice thin and flimsy greasy NY style pizza. You have to fold in half to eat and the cheese was extra heavy. Went very well with a cold beer. Stand by for future review :)

Great pizza — super fast delivery! It always feels better to support local businesses versus large chains. I rarely eat the crust, but their pizza dough is so delicious I do. Give them a try!

Why drive alllll the way to NYC for real pizza pie when Franks serves that up right here in Chesapeake of South Norfolk… Ahhhh home sweet home! The only place here that actually taste like pizza from NY

I live in the neighborhood where they are located and have been coming here for over 20 years. It is consistently the absolute best Italian food I have ever eaten. As my family always says «the sauce is magic».

This place has THE BEST red sauce I have ever had. They use it on some of their pasta dishes and as a side with their stromboli or calzone. I asked once how tey make it and they told me it was a family secret brought over from Italy. It is amazing. Everything I have ever gotten there is VERY good. Not bad at all for a little neighborhood mom and pop place. I consider it a gem, tucked away in the SoNo neighborhood.

This place is located in what looks like an abandoned strip mall. Seriously. There’s weeds growing on the lot, and looks legitimately scary. Luckily, once inside Frank’s, everything changes, and you are greeted warmly to a casual, delicious pizza joint.
I myself ordered the calzone with pepperoni. And it was huge. I believe it was only $ 8, and it filled me up. There was a ton of cheese and pepperoni, and everything was so delicious. I also sampled the garlic knots, which were also very good.
Don’t let the location stop you from coming here! Next time I’m in Norfolk, I’ll definitely have to do a drive by at lunch for some of this good stuff.

Great pizza. They always have coupons and it is convenient to pick up a pie on the way home. Don’t let the location keep you from enjoying excellent pizza.

Looks super sketchy from the outside but the food is great! Pizza was good, so was the garlic bread. We loved the cheesecake
