Sunrise Pizzeria

My husband ordered a white pizza pie from here for lunch this past weekend and brought the rest home for dinner. From the couple of hours between the time he got it and when he brought it home, it must’ve gone bad. I ate one slice and was sick that evening and the following day. I know it had to be the pie because (a) the tomatoes tasted a little off when I ate it and (b) that was the only thing I had for dinner (I had felt fine prior to consumption). Needless to say, this experience has made me leery of trying this place out again.

This place used to be one of my favorite places to eat. I think Management should look at the breakfast staff. I am one of two customers in the establishment and it had taken over 30 minutes to get a order of eggs. The coffee is cold and the staff is unwilling to help out the customer who may not eat certain food items. The waitress did not introduce herself and seemed less than enthusiastic on working.

One of the best place to eat local. Great food and great people that work there. Looking for a great breakfast place check this place out. Worth the money. Great deals

If I could give ZERO stars and leave a review then I would. We started off trying to order online and had issues because our address wouldn’t come up on the map so I called them. After being passed around to 4 different people I was told that I didn’t know MY OWN ADDRESS and that I needed to check on that. Then I was upset and hung up but they had the audacity to call me back. My boyfriend told me to just order on the phone and when I tried the girl on the phone told me that she would have to ask her manager… Just to place an order over the phone. Then we wanted to use a coupon but apparently they put those in the menus that they send you in the mail to your house with the delivery info on it to use only when you dine in.
Then to cap it all off, the food takes an hour to get here and it’s COLD and HORRIBLE! No flavor in either of the calzones and they were so greasy it was dripping and seeping through the pizza box!
Needless to say, we WILL NOT be ordering from them again and I will be telling all my friends about this horrific experience!

Only reason why I am writing this review is for the poor customer service that I received. I ordered the family combo, and an order of baked ziti that comes with salad and garlic bread. When our food was delivered, I discovered that the salad and garlic bread were missing. I immediately called the restaurant, and let them know. The girl on the phone advised that it would be delivered, but would be a few minutes. Fine, no worries (it’s Sunday night around dinner time). Over an hour went by, and still nothing. I called back to see if it was even being delivered, and I was told by the same girl who took my call the first time that it was delivered. Um, no, it wasn’t. If I still wanted it, it would be an hour, since it’s Valentine’s day. Um… I’ve already waited over an hour. Then she proceeded to tell me that it doesn’t change the price of my meal, it’s just a tag along. I paid for baked ziti, salad, and garlic bread, and that’s what I expected to receive. I asked if I could get a credit of some sort for a future order. Nope, can’t do that either. Needless to say, we’re not ordering from them again. They can’t handle getting orders correct nor fixing their mistake, especially on a holiday (not that everyone celebrates). Only reason why they are even getting a star are that the ziti wasn’t bad, and the zeppolis were good. Pizza was greasy and salty.

My coworkers and I decided to try out their breakfast. We thought it was awesome to get breakfast delivered. The delivery time wasnt too bad but when we got our food we were all disappointed. we had bacon that was burnt, bacon that was partically cooked, french toast looked like someone stomped on it and the home fries looked nothing like the picture. We all thought home fries were cubes of potatoes. What we got was a baked potato cut in half and mushed up, and scrambled eggs way over cooked. There were 6+ of us that ordered and after that experience we wont do it again. VERY disappointing. Sucks because with a company as big as ours they would of gotten frequent business.

I really like the online ordering and how you can customize your order. My husband got a meatball sub which was HUGE and I ordered a chicken sandwich minus the cheese (I can’t eat cheese). On the order and the receipt is even said **no cheese** but when I opened the sandwich there was cheese. I was able to remove it but if you’re going to have customers customize their order maybe you should pay attention to it. Overall, the food was good and the delivery time was a lot faster than expected. We’ll definitely order from there again but maybe next time call it in.

Never disappointed! Started using them exclusively after having customer service issues with another place. And they became my favorite instantly! Customer service, which I’m huge on, has always been awesome, whether pick up, delivery, or dining in. Food is amazing! I haven’t found baklava as good as theirs other than NY.

Great Pizza. Loaded with toppings. They definitely dont skimp. Not your normal pizza. Must try atleast once! Guaranteed youll be be hooked! Ive got these guys on the speed dial!

I have ordered from here before and I knew I shouldn’t have because they continually disappoint but I didn’t want to cook so we ordered Delivery one night before we left VA. We ordered a pizza, wings, and a slice of cheese pizza. They told me it was going to be a 1 hour wait and I was okay with that since I didn’t want to have to go anywhere. When they brought us our food the slice of cheese pizza looked like it had been cooked in the microwave! Our pizza looked okay other than the tomatoes looking old and mushy! But low and behold after an hour wait they forget my $ 9.00 wings. Luckily I called and asked for my wings but it took another 30 minutes and by the time I got them they were cold and dry and I ended up throwing them away since I couldn’t reheat it lol, oh and came with just a ranch packet a packet! Honestly that’s a joke in its self. You would think since you have to wait an hour they would make sure you get things like appetizing food or an order being correct? Nope, not here! Save your money order from Pizza Hut or better yet just go and get a frozen pizza!

So, we ordered from their holiday specials menu and while placing our order for dessert selections we were told the flyer we had was a misprint as desserts are dine in only. We were disappointed but went with it. My coworker ordered seafood lobster sauce with an included side (again, based on the flyer) so I was shocked to get a call back from the waitress that took my order saying the kitchen told her pastas don’t come with a side. I had an issue with both the desserts fiasco and now the sides. She knew I was upset so she had the manager Lisa call me back. She tries to tell me that my flyer clearly states desserts are dine in only. I told her they needed to fix their flyer as it is «misprinted» in several spots and that the flyer I have should be honored. She did want to throw in a cheesecake to keep our business but by this time I was over it.
They lost our business (I cancelled our order) over a $ 4.99 dessert (which she offered to charge us for to get in included in delivery) and a side of broccoli and cheese.

So we came here completely by accident. Little did we know that abundance of food you will receive is beyond comprehension. Make sure you bring your appetites. The Calzones are huge and delicious to eat. The marinara sauce is good as well. I recommend you bring your family and anyone that wants to tag along. You won’t regret it!

Don’t go here or order from this place! Ordered my pizza and was told 45 min. delivery time after an hour I called then was told that their delivery time was an hour not 45 min like I was told. After an hour and 20 min I called again and was told it was right near me that she could see it with the tracker and would only be another minute. Well about 5 minutes later the driver calls and he is lost barely speaks English and you can’t understand a word coming out of his mouth. Well I eventually got my cold pizza an hour and 50 minutes after I ordered it!
I called and spoke to the store manager I believe her name was Lisa she said new drivers blah blah blah and that she would credit my pizza so when I ordered again it would be taken care of. So I thought the issue was resolved! NOPE! I called today to order my pizza and now they say there is nothing stating I’m supposed to get a credit but that the owner will give me $ 4.00 off! So we argued about that then I was told he would give me half off! Needless to say no pizza was ordered from there and I suggest you don’t order one either! They must mess up a lot because they accidentally answered thinking I was another customer that they messed up an order with and they told me they would get the correct one out to me! If I could do negative stars I would!

This place was recommended to me by a friend. So, I wanted to check it out. This business is an old Pizza Hut turned into a mom and pops pizzeria. I walked and the lady told me I could sit anywhere and that was fine. The waitress came back to take my drink order 5 minutes later. I placed my ordered for the all you can eat omelet special. For 5 dollars you get hash browns and toast with it which is responsible. The food came out it was a good portion size. After that my waitress never came back to table to check on me. I finish my plate and had to flag head down to put in my next order than she never took the dirty plates. Didn’t even ask me if I wanted more to drink. Service was horrible but the food is good. I don’t think I would go again to sit and eat because of this experience, however, I might do take out or delivery.

They have very typical food. Pizza burger cheesesteaks gyro wings and fries. They are a nice change up when ordering a Friday night pizza but the food is kinda expensive even with the little deals and it doesn’t wow you with taste. We eat at sunrise all the time for delivery. The breakfast is all you can eat of whatever dish you order… might be better if it was buffet and just charge a little more. But it’s a great little spot for around the corner from my house

I will change this review or add to it when I try other food items from here, but for now this place gets a poor rating for my first visit. I got the executive sub it has roast beef, ham, turkey and bacon. The bacon was not pork bacon but turkey bacon. If that is what you use then put it on the menu as that. Also cheap ingredients equal cheap tasting food period. Subway makes better clubs than this, Christo’s makes better club subs than sunrise pizzeria.
I will go back and try something else from the menu because it has several items and base my ratings on more food from them, but for the 11 dollars spent on a bad tasting sub… I’m disappointed.

Food is usually hit or miss here. I usually get my food delivered. And they’re pretty quick. But the last time I had my food delivered. The driver tried telling me that their new policy with online orders is to take a «carbon» copy of my card (pencil and paper and rub over the raised card number). Seemed very very suspicious to me. Didn’t let him do it. Won’t go back because of that.

Another great experience at my favorite local pizzeria chain! Was very happy to know there was a Sunrise nearby our new home. Great service, restaurant is clean, food is just as yummy as the Pembroke spot.
I took a chance and instead of getting my usual tiramisu opted to try to the zepolles and was very happy I did. Dinner meal was a great deal for 4 slices of pizza, salad, and dessert for only $ 8. Love this place!

I’ve been here at least 5 times since my last review and theyre still getting the order wrong ex: I ordered boneless buffalo wings but I got buffalo wings WITH the bone smh (I ate it anyway cause it was still tasty :) if they where able to get the orders right they would get 4 stars

Bad lunch here today. The restaurant was busier than usual, about half full including a large group, but not a good excuse for my table to never receive drinks. The «real turkey meal» on the lunch special menu included cold (instant) mashed potatoes, a bunch of turkey on top of old white bread, all swimming in way too much brown gravy. It should have been a red flag when the person who took my order (I’m guessing the manager) couldn’t describe what the meal included. Long wait to order and get the check and new servers every time I visit. Customer service has decreased significantly since my first visit.
On the up side, my company picked up a bunch of pizzas from here one day that were delicious. Personally I think this place should focus on pizza and get rid of like ¾ of their menu.
