I love this place. Great food, great staff and reasonable prices. Definitely recommend to anyone

For the most part our evening was good. We ordered the Buffalo Chicken dip. It was good but the chicken pieces were really big. That made it hard to eat. My husband ordered chicken tenders. They were good. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich. I had to send it back because my chicken wasn’t cooked all the way. It came back out and was ok. Our service was a little slow. They were not real busy so I would expected it to be a little better. I was not super impressed that our waitress was wearing extremely short shorts. Not a good look unless your at Hooters. What really bothered me was the fact that I killed two ants that we were walking on our table. I know restaurants have bugs but when they crawl across the table while I’m eating it’s not ok. I let it go because they were just ants but definitely a turn off.

I’m giving The Greene Turtle five stars… Hubs & I had an enjoyable dining experience! We had the crab dip as an appetizer. It took a while to get to our table, but it was well worth the wait! Cheesy, crabby goodness paired with soft pretzel sticks — soooo good! For entrees, my husband ordered the blackened chicken quesadilla(I may have to get that next time!) and I ordered the fish and chips(one of the best fish & chips I’ve ever had). We were very happy with the customer service and the quality of the food! It’s safe to say that we will definitely be back!

Food is rather bland. Service was good and if you have a little one, they’ve got Nick Jr! Place is convenient if you’re in the mall

A group of came here for a PaintNite. We decided to come here early enough to order food and drinks. Happy hour is 3−7pm on M-F. I was very pleased with their crab dip with pretzels! Amazing! Their loaded tater tots were also very tasty! Our server was friendly & quick. I had their shrimp tacos which were adequate. I’ve had better. I don’t have a problem coming here for another happy hour!

I’ve been here a couple times and they get the job done as far as feeding you. This last time that I was here, service was slow, it seemed as if she was the only waiter there. We waited about 25 minutes before we were served. Overall the food wasn’t bad, this place seems more of a drink and appetizer kind of place. I may try them again.

I just tried this place after shopping around Greenbrier Mall because I saw that they had a Groupon($ 15 for $ 30 worth of food)! One thing that really stands out is how many freaking TV’s they have in the dining area! Huge flat screens cover the walls, and there is a smaller(24″?) TV for every booth! While there is no volume, you can flip through the channels and find something you like(Hello sports fans!) As for the menu and the food, it was a-okay. Nothing really stood out to me, nothing really screamed amazing. I tried the«Kickin’ Bourbon Burger,» and though the portion size, presentation, and bacon-to-burger ratio were spot on, I found it to be a little too sweet. So it was good, but would I come back for it? Probably not. All the burger entrees come with kettle chips, but I opted to get French fries for $ 0.99 extra! My bf got the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, which was spot on with portion size and presentation as well! Their brioche buns are so soft and perfectly round, I don’t know how they do it! I saw that they have happy hour deals and weekday lunch specials, so I’ll probably try to place again in the future!

The whole night was problematic. Every step of the way we had to battle for our waitresses attention. She dropped off waters and then disappeared for 15 minutes. Took drink orders and didn’t come back for another 15 with only half of them. I had to stop her repeatedly before she could race off again to place orders for both appetizers and then dinner. Dinner was so delayed I had to wrangle her again to put in another order for apps. Being in a position where I had to force our waitress to wait our table was exhausting. Waters didn’t get refilled until we’d been sitting at the table almost an hour and a half. Note at this point, our dinners still had not arrived. When the food did arrive, half the food on the table was cold. The two burgers ordered medium rare were very well done. The fries on two plates were incorrect(regular vs sweet potato fries). Nothing anyone had was worth going back for in even the best of circumstances.

Stopped in the Green Turtle for a couple of beers at the bar. The bar area was severely infested with gnats and when I pointed it to the bartender, she simply said«oh yeah, that’s a problem there…» Didn’t think twice about ordering food or another beer. Definitely will not return to this bar/restaurant.

I stopped by last night for a quick dinner and a coupla pints. I had the Fleet Street Grilled Chicken. I had the 1 piece for $ 11.99 it came with Yukon Gold Mash Potatoes, seasoned green beans which were quite plentiful I will say and delicious Diced Tomatoes and Lump crab meat mixed in with it. Only 471 calories not bad if your counting calories. Marina my bartender was very friendly and efficient. Only took about 20 min not even to receive my food. Happy Hour is 3 to 7. Pints and wells are $ 3. I will definitely be back 4 sho! Kids eat for free on Tuesday and every booth has it’s own TV. Very cool!

This is a cozy little spot I like to come in for a pint when I’m in between shopping here at the mall. The staff is very polite and attentive. Happy hour is 3−7pm with $ 2 domestic drafts and $ 4 crafts. Not a bad price for this area. My server Achilles(Yes, like the tendon) was on point. He even came back to check on me and said, «Is there anything I can get for you Matt?» which caught me off guard because I never gave him my name. So that shows his attentiveness when he checked my ID and remembered my name. Little things like that in the service industry go a long way for me. Medium sized craft selection. I’d say stop in and try for yourself. Good vibes for sure. Can’t really speak for the food, as I always come in here for a quick pint, but the plates out of the kitchen look quite presentable.

I watched the game with my college alumni group. They seated us in a cozy little room in the back with several TV screens. This is a great way to watch the game. I ordered a Smartmouth draft beer and it came flat and stale. So, I ordered a Dogfish Head draft that came flat and stale. My companions said that the Boston Lager was good and I ordered one. It was good.

We just enjoyed a great Sunday afternoon dinner with my family. We were seated quickly and greeted by our server not long after we sat down. Nice atmosphere with sports games all over. The food was AMAZING! The best thing was our appetizer, the buffalo chicken nachos(no celery), so good! But everything we ordered was good, the buffalo chicken sandwich was huge and delicious. The cowboy bacon cheeseburger and chicken philly were so tasty. My daughter enjoyed her kids mac n cheese too. Good experience overall, hubby says we will be back again!

Decent experience with the food, nothing special. Good experience with the wait staff. And nice sports atmosphere too. I got the spicy chicken sandwich and it was pretty good but pretty average. The buffalo chicken dip I enjoyed but my friends said the Turtle’s dip wasn’t bringing it that day.

Clean restaurant, fast and friendly service. I purchased a Groupon because I’ve never eaten at this place before. The only downside to the Groupon purchase is that if you go during their happy hour, you will be charged full price in order for them to take your Groupon. I ordered the Pecan Apple Salad with chicken, and crab dip. Everything tasted amazing, and my server was quick and attentive. The manager also came by our table to make sure everything was going well.

Came for lunch while wife was at a baby shower. Decent menu, but nothing that breaks them apart from the other national sports bar/restaurant chains. Service was good and restaurant was clean. Lunch menu was small, but adequate. Lunch for 2, no appetizers ordered, with tea and soda…$ 25.

It was great dinner here on Wednesday. The service was awesome. Not to mention our waitress/bartender name… Maria!!! Oh how awesome is that… we loved her and she loved us! I had the fish tacos(blackened tilapia with avocado, cilantro and sour cream). But I ate them plain and asked for chili thai sauce on the side… very good!!! They were filling. It also comes with a side salad. And I am pleased to say it’s one of their«fit meals». I also tried the Hog Hammers… pretty good if you like ribs. When they came out… looking at them, I’m like«they look like a hog too» so don’t let the presentation scare you. They are worth a try. Not to mention they are on the happy hour menu… so for $ 5 go for it! I also took a bit of the crab flatbread pizza. This was yummy!!! Very cheesy! You can definitely taste their signature crab dip and mozzarella cheese. All fattening here… but hey… go for it if you’re gamed. We will definitely be back during football season. Maria works on Sunday nights. Therefore, we will be looking forward to seeing her… she was fantastic and friendly. Yeah those«f’ words! The restroom was tidy as well. Love a good clean restroom! Have fun :)

They say that ‘Absence makes the heart grow fonder”. Not here, certainly not this visit. The meal was meh, also way over priced and our server was way about half past crazy. A co-worker and I recently had lunch here and probably should have known something was up when we walked into a mostly barren restaurant. I think I saw one person sitting at the bar and another at a booth not far from our own. The only employee I saw was our server and I’m just assuming there was at least a cook in the kitchen. We had the standard fair, I selected a bacon cheeseburger and a glass of iced tea while my co-worker had a grilled chicken sandwich. I don’t recall his drink. The waitress kept plugging and plugging for us to get the«Green Turtle Rewards Card». I mean she slipped it into every conversation we had throughout the visit. When we ordered the drinks, when we ordered the entrée, when she unnecessarily stopped by the table 3 times and told us her life story, when we asked for the check and when we were walking out the door. Which part of «NO» didn’t she understand? On top of that, my meal came out to $ 17 bucks. Yes, $ 17 dinero, for a frozen puck of a burger and a meager helping of fries. You’ve got to be kidding me right? Next time I’m in the mall on my lunch break, I’ll go to the food court.

Sports on every channel… right now mostly the World Cup. Flat screens at your table. I see one table with a toddler… Madagascar is playing. I’ve gotten take-out lunch here a few times and dined in once. The food was delicious-particularly the crab dip appetizer with soft pretzels. For $ 13 this appetizer hits the spot. The dip is hot, gooey, flavorful, cheesy and they don’t skimp on the crab meat. And it is well complimented by the slightly salty soft pretzel sticks. I’ve also had the blackened chicken quesadilla, just under $ 10. I don’t recommend it, but I’m sure that it does have its fans. It just did not appeal to me at all. For starters I’ve been getting chicken quesadillas for 20 years. Before I branched out to exploring other entrees the quesadilla was my fallback at most restaurants because I could count on enjoying it. For the price, this was small and I did mention my disappointment/surprise to the server. Also, I was not feeling the taste. I do recommend trying the pear and apple salad with vidalia dressing. It is soo yummy and refreshing. I’m not sure how I would feel about paying $ 10 for a salad without meat. $ 3 to add chicken and $ 5 for shrimp. But I’m all about eating healthy and the salad is fantastic as is. I personally have no plans to ever order it with a protein. I have had some difficulty with takeout before, once I believe the individual was a new employee. It was a very long wait, with more than a few mix-ups but the manager handled the order in the end and applied my points to my rewards card and I left satisfied with my order. I like The Greene Turtle and I will be back. After years of passing it by on my mall trips I’m glad that I finally desided to ear here this summer.
