best bagels around hands down! I love the French toast bagels with butter and if I really want to treat myself I will go for the whitefish salad on a plain bagel. Great service and the staff is always friendly and attentive.

This is my go-to lunch place most days. The food is good(though seldom great, I’d say three stars), but during the week the service is what gives this a fourth star for me. The folks who work there are friendly and personable, and Andrew often comes out to talk to people and chat with frequent customers. The weekends are more of a gamble. High school students work the weekends, and they can be clumsy and slow in making sandwiches. Some of them are good, and others definitely need more practice to be efficient– but they’re teenagers and this is likely their first job, so despite my complaining about this from a customer’s standpoint, it’s something understandable that I accept, having at one time been a 16-year-old in food service. All in all it’s a decent lunch place, good breakfast place(bacon egg and cheese, delicious), and while some of the staff could use a bit more polish(the weekend warriors, mostly), I still go several times a week.

Definitely one of my favorite places for breakfast and lunch in the area. they have super cool bagel choices that are all delicious my favorites are the plain bagel because I’m boring and the Buffalo bagel because it’s delicious and fun. whether you are getting a classic egg sandwich or one of their fun lunch sandwiches they never disappoint. There is plenty of seating inside their establishment or you can get stuff to take home. Every experience I have had here has been a friendly one, the owner is so nice and accommodating, he really makes you want to come back! I’m seeing a lot of negative reviews on the waitstaff and from my experience they have never been that bad. Obviously out of bagel joint they get super busy people are going to feel rushed but I have never had a rude experience with them. Love this place!

Bagelicious has been in Cheshire for some time; I’d say over 15 years? Regardless, it’s a great place. On my last visit, I came here for lunch. I opted for a sandwich and it was tasty! Complimented it with chips an a drink. The owner was there and he’s a very friendly and outgoing guy. The staff that helped us was nice as well. I’m kinda surprised to see negative comments on the staff; never been the case when I’ve visited. There’s ample seating if you would like to eat in and it has a decent lunch crowd. You can find a table, but it’s certainly not empty. Worth coming here for something different!

Bagel sammies here are consistently good especially the bacon egg and cheese as the eggs are super fluffy and they don’t skimp on the bacon. Coffee is another story. The coffee here makes Dunkin look like gourmet. I have no clue how you can destroy basic flavored coffee but they have mastered it and you can a expect bitter and watery brew. Definitely check it out for food but if you are seeking a caffeinated beverage to wash it down with look elsewhere.

I found the bagels here to be much better than the ones at Shefs down the street. What I found odd was that you get the food from one end of the counter and then pay the cashier at the other end, it would make more sense if you just got everything at one place instead of having to walk to the other end of the long counter to pay. Like several reviewers said the staff did seem like they did not want to be there and did not really smile much either. But the bagels are good and if i am in the Shire again I will return.

The food is hit or miss. I’ve had a good sandwich and I’ve had paper cooked into my bagel. However, the service is consistently horrendous. The employees and owners treat customers very poorly. They are always complaining and yelling about something. They shit-talk their customers while they are still in the restaurant. Do yourself a favor and pick up a bagel from the grocery store and save yourself the misery.

Love the bagels and sandwiches. Love the side with the balsamic chick peas and beans. Good for catering(owner is very helpful). Go to lunch spot in Cheshire.

The bagels are consistent but average. Coffee is less than average but to be fair I give them a solid three stars for the food. Sadly, also consistent is the egregiously rude nature of their staff. They rarely smile, make you feel as though they’re being inconvenienced when you order and on occasion, I’ve felt they have made my order incorrect on purpose(I’m not being paranoid, I honestly believe that). Therefore, the horrible attitude of their miserable staff makes a one star rating generous. Aside from the owner(who seems like a genuinely nice guy), these folks hate their job and it shows. Maybe his niceness is his Achilles heel, because his staff shows no desire to do a good job. Food 3 stars, service 1 star = 2 stars for Bagelicious.

Love the variety of bagels they have here. I always go for the buffalo bagel or the jalapeño bagel. The place hasn’t changed in years which makes it a nice home town feel. The owners are very nice and generous, always donating to organizations!

What a great first experience here. The food: a very large menu of delicious sounding sandwiches and wraps. We got 2 nova lox bagels, and found the salmon fresh, the lettuce crisp, and lots of cream cheese. The bagels themselves had a nice chewy outside, soft and fresh inside. Very enjoyable. Tasty coffee, too! The owner, Andrew was working the cash register — super friendly service and they threw in a bunch of assorted bagels for us to try, since it was our first time there. You don’t find service like that much nowadays! Will definitely be coming back

Its like two different stores, the girls loading the bag are nice and helpful, then the only word that i can type here is «rude» when it comes time to checkout. As for the bagels, they are tasty but don’t hold well for a few days. so only get what you need that day. So I only go when I have to and thats not often based on past experiences.

I like going to Bagelicious in Cheshire, CT. The owner is great and so our his bagels. There is only one problem. The older man(can’t call him a gentlemen) is rude and disrespectful, especially if he makes a mistake with your order. he shakes his head mumbles under his breath likes it your fault. Like I said I like Bagelicious, but will limit my visits, because of this man.

Bagelicious is pretty good as a deli. I enjoyed both the sandwiches we got here, although for some reason one of them had an unreasonable amount of cheese on it(I suppose this is better than not enough cheese). One of the sandwiches was on a bagel, which was probably the worst thing about the sandwich which is a little worrying for a place with«bagel» in the name. It wasn’t a bad bagel, it just wasn’t all that great either. I’d probably frequent this place if I lived nearby.

I stopped by today to pick up bagels for the first time in a while. I was shocked and disappointed to see how dirty it was. The floors looked like they haven’t been mopped in weeks. I always relied on bagelicious for the best bagels around, but wont go back unless they do a thorough spring cleaning!

My favorite local bagel place! I can’t drive past this shop without stopping. Excellent customer service, very fast and pleasant. The homemade cookies are delicious, too!

Two words — buffalo bagel! I used to visit Bagelicious pretty regularly when I worked in Cheshire, but that was a few years ago. I re-discovered Bagelicious when we were going to Shef’s Bagels(almost directly across the street) on the advice of a friend, and found they had no bagels on a Sunday morning. So we went to Bagelicious and had a fabulous breakfast! Now we go back whenever we’re in the general area on a Sunday morning. They have a great selection of bagels, and also have breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, baked goods, smoothies, coffee, etc. I have never been disappointed with anything I have gotten there. The mango smoothie is a must have for mango lovers! Service is always quick. Definitely worth a stop for breakfast or lunch if you’re in the area.

Great local place to go for fresh bagels. They have a nice selection of sandwiches that go into a bagel, wrap or roll as well as salads. Loyalty cards come in handy for regulars to get free bagels. They also serve a generous sized coffee and iced coffee selection.

IDK where my original review of this place went, well… here is another one– Back in high school this place used to be great. It wasn’t even that long ago(10 yrs) but since then it was really gone down hill. The high school kids that work there could care less about decent service. I overall really liked coming here for the bagels, and the sandwiches are OK. I really like the coffee and it is always fresh. Prices are ok… just wish this place got a face lift.
