Long wait for food. Staff in another world. Not even apologetic for long wait. $ 12 for veggie hummus wrap! Come on! Way overpriced!

So thankful they have a GMO free resturaunt in NJ… finally…The food is amazing, everyone should follow their lead. This is truly a find. Amazing since I have a million food allergies, and can not tolerate GMO food due to a metabolic disorder. Worth the trip… no matter where you live. Fairly priced as well. Will be back soon !!!

Unforgettable experience!!! Let me tell you, I wasn’t a fan of organic — the prices usually, but robins nest is worth the splurge(it’s not even bad to your wallet!) You can tell that the owner really cares about their establishment. Not only is the atmosphere great and comfortable but the food is phenomenal! It’s got me hooked on organic food products and just robins nest in general! The Italian omelette was one of the first and finest item on the menu that I tried. Another go to item is the chicken Milanese! I wasn’t a fan until I tried some off of my friend’s plate and I’m glad I did. The atmosphere is so welcoming I even go there by myself, which would be really weird and uncomfortable usually but it’s just nonchalant and very welcoming. Overall, just a great place in Chester– just go there.

GREATGREATCUSTOMERSERVICE!!! I absolutely love this place and I can’t wait to go back

I hesitate to give this place even one star. Over 40 minutes for two sandwiches. We left when we over heard the help and the chef talking about running out of ingredients for our sandwiches. No to mention the prices of their«organic» salads. Not worth the time or the money. This place will never succeed. The owner looked like she didn’t have a care in the world while tables waited for someone to put water out. All we heard is that they were overwhelmed. Overwhelmed? There were 10 people in the whole place!

Met friends for breakfast here this past Saturday. This little place is tucked away in a row off stores of Main Street, and has limited seating. We were there early on Saturday and had no problems finding a table. The menu was interesting, and offered plenty of choices. We were surprised to learn, after we had ordered, they were out of Canadian bacon, a key ingredient in the signature sandwich. There were only two parties in the place and we were one of them. It took quite a long time for our food to come out of the kitchen. I believe we had been waiting for twenty minutes for our order, when the other table, who was there before us, got their food. We had ordered a cinnamon bun to be shared, which could have been brought out to help pass the time, but it wasn’t. We finally asked for it, and the microwave reheated bun was delivered with our breakfast order following shortly behind. The food was very good. Our coffee cups were always filled. Bottom line, if you are looking for a quick bite, this is not your place. If however, you are looking for someplace to me friends and enjoy a leisurely breakfast this would be a great spot.

Disappointed. Generic crappy fake tasting Kraft vinaigrette on a grilled veggie and shrimp Salad that cost $ 20!!! If you are going to advertise that you’re farm fresh and organic then home made dressing should be a no brainier. Service took forever. 30 minutes at 1pm for two take out salads. I won’t be going back.

Chester seriously lacks a large variety of good quality restaurants. Well The Robins Nest was quite lovely! The food options were very interesting and appetizing. The pros: Delicious, fresh, good quality ingredients! Very unique food choices Very peaceful and casual The cons: Service was quite slow, they were seriously understaffed We went Sunday morning expecting brunch but they claimed they don’t serve it… we went specifically for the brunch menu! Overall definitely give this place a try, especially if you are a health nut!

Stopped on for a quick lunch with my sister who prefers the locally sourced/organic offerings. Cute atmosphere inside. We both had the Country Cobb Salad and my sister also had a bowl of black bean soup. The food was all delicious. Prices were a bit over the top, but that it to be expected for the quality of food.

After a decadent BBQ with lots of meats and other nasties yesterday, stopping in at The Robins Nest for a nice healthy organic meal seemed like a good idea. Its a quaint little place off Main St in Chester. Its was afew minutes after 11AM and I was still in «breakfast» mood. The first disappointment was learning that they do not serve breakfast after 11AM. That seemed a little weird to me. Especially on a Sunday morning. Apparently I wasn’t the only one who was disappointed because I heard at least 3 other tables come in asking to order breakfast and they were all disappointed as well . Thinking it was probably for the best anyway, I would order a healthly lunch instead. My wife and I ordered a «Baked Brie with Apple and Figs» appy to start with. When you read that on the menu of an organic«fresh» restaurant you expect some brie cheese with some fresh figs and apples on the side. This was not what came out. What came out was this huge pastry monstrous encrusted brie«cake» with the apples and figs cooked inside the pastry. I found it a bit much, very heavy and too rich for my tastes. Not totally horrible but not what we were expecting. We were surprised(not in a good way) by the presentation and the heavy taste. Additionally, my wife who dislikes smoked cheese tasted that the brie was smoked. She couldn’t eat it. We felt that the menu was mis-leading and if you are going to sell smoke baked brie in a pastry with the apples and figs baked in, you should say that on the menu. Instead the menu read«Baked Brie with Apples and Figs». We waited an extremely long time for the appy to come out. In fact the table next to us which came in after us got served before we did. Service challenges seeem to be a recurring theme here. We brought it to our waiters attention. Once he became aware of the situation he immediately brought out our appetizer. Nice recovery. More on the service in a minute. Once the service got into a groove it actually flowed pretty well. I had a nice smoked salmon salad and my wife orders and arugala salad. Both salads were very good. Very fresh, high quality ingredients. I was very pleased wtih the quality of the salads. I ordered coffee as well and I thought the coffee was execellent. It seems the staff there is inexperienced. However I want to give a shout out to the young man working the front of the house. Our original waitress seemed a little overwhelmed and not a very experienced server. We’d ask for things or wait for followup service and she seemed to drop the ball. Everytime we notified this young man about a service failure however, he immediately addressed the issue. I noticed him walking the entrire floor checking in on tables and deliverying good professional service. He was very attentive and he stood out amoungst the other servers. He seemed like the only professional on the floor. They would be in really bad shape without this guy. Summing up, food was reasonable. Somewhat on the pricey side as you might expect from a specialty café in Chester. Would I go back again… hmmmm… Probably would give it another try someday. If you go, make sure to bring your patience.

The menu is nice, the food is good and the atmosphere is pleasant. I want this restaurant to succeed in Chester because the town needs it. However, the service is very poor and the prices are not justifiable. Ask for honest customer feedback, listen, and put your efforts into ironing out your processes. People will come and pay if they have great experiences.

I had a great experience here the other day for brunch. My friend and I are very health conscious eaters and were both able to find plenty of items on the menu we could enjoy and it was also delicious! Probably the best Veggie Omelette i’ve ever had. I will definitely return to this spot. I really hope they stay in business for a while because I know this location has had a lot of turn over. This is a great place and I recommend for a cozy brunch — everything was fresh.

Robin’s Nest is a refreshing change after many years of mediocre in this particular spot! Atmosphere is clean and welcoming. I’ve enjoyed all the food I have ordered. Mushroom soup was creamy and chock full of big mushroom pieces. Amalfi Panini was the perfect balance of salty from the proscuitto and sweet from the fig. I had to make myself slow down and savor each bite. And, my husband made me a believer in his obsession with their watermelon jalapeño drink. Yum! Only a handful of gripes: 1. Last time there, they were out of four menu items. That is a lot, considering the limited menu. I still thoroughly enjoyed my selection, but it was my third choice. 2. It has a tiny bit of an identity crisis between lovely café and coffee shop(many people sat and sipped coffee and used the WiFi, with the other tables occupied with the lunch bunch), but it probably needs to be both to survive in the location. 3. While I am respectful of the high cost of good, organic fare, I wish it were just a tad less expensive. I would go more frequently.

My wife, her family and I loved this place! Great service, great food and a really warm, friendly atmosphere. They stayed open a little later for us. Food is cooked to order. It’s Organic and delicious. I tried several items and all were outstanding. You cannot go wrong here! ENJOY!

This morning I took two friends to Robin’s Nest for a nice, local, healthy breakfast. Two of us got the«Protein Burrito» and could not have been more satisfied! The eggs were cooked perfectly, the turkey, just right! Honestly one of the best breakfast burrito’s I’ve ever had. The third person in our party ordered«Toads in a Hole» and raved about how great it tasted throughout the whole meal! Each of us ordered smoothies and they were fantastic! We customized them to our liking and they arrived just as we asked!(The Classic with Espresso was amazing) Overall a great experience and atmosphere. The baked goods are to die for, especially the granola bars and cookies :) Will I go back? ABSOLUTELY!

What a great little find! Smoothies with all natural ingredients, sandwiches and paninis with more natural ingredients! I had the grilled shrimp sandwich, which was nice sized grilled shrimp, smoked gouda and mustard on whole grain bread. The shrimp was delicious, and the melted gouda was the perfect partner for it. And I had their specialty smoothie, the«Don’t Knock it until You Try it» which was the most amazing combination of sweet potatoes, bananas, milk, honey and cinnamon. I had mine with almond milk and it was just spectacular! Put me right in the mood for fall. There was also a seasonal pumpkin pie smoothie which sounded amazing too. The space is really cute, lots of comfy chairs and different sized tables. They have free wifi and apparently live music on Sundays from 12−2pm! While the prices were a tad high for sandwiches(my panini was $ 14 with only 3 shrimp), the quality of the food and smoothies was so good that I would definitely come back! Besides, I have to try that pumpkin pie smoothie…;)
