We had an alternator problem that occurred at Mt. Lassen; when we inquired about auto shops, the park ranger directed us to the town of Chester. We got there JUST before closing time, and despite the shop being busy, the garage owner was able to run a quick diagnostic, obtain the part we needed, and install it at a fair price in under forty minutes. They were very friendly and efficient vacation savers!
