I had an issue with my wedding dress and brought it to Ann’s Tailoring on Monday before my wedding this Saturday — it was ready by close of business on Thursday and looked amazing. Great price for the alteration. I’m so thankful

Ann’s is located close by and my family has used this shop numerous times. Most recently, I had a bridesmaid’s dress altered and the cap put back on a pair of shoes. Ann stopped what she was doing when I entered to take my measurements and the whole process took about 15 minutes. I brought the dress in a week before I needed it, and it was completed when she said it would be. The cost was $ 40 for the dress which included two layers, a raw hem and an actual hem beneath is. The shoe caps cost $ 12. Full disclosure: I have no idea if this is a good price or not as I did not shop around. My main concerns were convenience of location and being completed when quoted, and both were accomplished. I would use Ann’s Tailor again in the future.

Cannot say enough good things about her! When my fiancé and I both needed last minute alterations to our wedding attire, Ann came through. We took my dress and his suit in first thing Monday morning. He need the side seams of his pants taken in. I needed the top of my wedding dress expanded just a little bit. She was able to turn both around by Tuesday evening, and the total was about $ 35! Incredible! Would definitely go to her again.

In what looks like a train wreck of store that appears long overdue for a decent cleaning, is a shop for tailoring and shoe repair. I have visited twice, once to have a suit adjusted and the other time to have the heals and soles of my shoes replaced. Unlike another reviewer, the suit was perfect, although I did not have the sleeves adjusted. The shoes, which were sent off for repair, too were done well. My sole concern is that on both occasions the work was not completed in the timeframe noted on the ticket. The suit was only a day late, while the shoes were a few days tardy. While nothing stands out as exceptional here, they are are close, do a decent job, and price their work fairly, so I’ll likely use them again if the need arises.

I had a couple of things that need to be altered so I went to my trusty Unilocal app and this is what appears. So I figured I would give them a try. So I get there and go in and it is a small shop and not much room for the customer or employee. So this lady comes out of this maze of clothing to ask what she could do for me. So I tell her what I wanted(sleeves on a jacket taken in) so she takes the measurements and takes the jacket and tells me it would be ready in a week. So I go back in a week and it’s not ready and I’m told to come back before closing… so ok I will. I came back and picked up my jacket and when I got home it wasn’t right they only took in one sleeve. So I figured they did a rush job before I showed up at closing. So I don’t see me going back anytime in the future. I’ll just find someone else to fix the jacket…

Conveniently located near other shops and restaurants, I have no complaints about the pair of pants I had altered. Ann was very polite about making sure the alterations were to my liking. I took the pants in on a Monday and she promised to have them ready by Friday, which seems to be a standard time frame for tailoring. On Friday, the pants were ready to go when I hit the door! The cost is reasonable, and plastic is accepted, reaches raises the convenience factor higher. I will certainly come back with other items to tailor and perhaps shoes to repair!
