Low quality entrees. The general Taos and orange chicken tasted like rotten fruit and were mushy and not at all crunchy. However, the fried rice was fairly tasty. The house special soup was just satisfactory. I didn’t expect such poor quality in Town and Country.

We ordered on New Years Eve and everything was delicious. We had shredded beef with spicy sauce that was great, chicken egg foo young with brown sauce that I was told was very good and pork with garlic sauce that was great. Our order was ready right on time and packaged well. We will absolutely be back to try some other items. Best crab Rangoon ever.

I am afraid if the word gets out about China Garden, the phone lines will be jammed and it will be hard to get in the door of this tiny, shopping strip Chinese take out.
A family run business, China Garden is unique for our family. Take your P.F. Chang’s, LuLu or any other high end Chinese, give me the China Garden any day.
The family is just the absolute best with wonderful Crab Rangoon, Beef, Pork, or veggie eggrolls and has the absolute best Hot and Sour soup my wife and I have ever eaten. Your meal is made fresh, and tastes absolutely great.
I have had at least 10 different mains for either lunch or dinner, and one is better than the other. You call in and can order your meal as spicy as you wish.
The portions are incredibly generous, and the take out menu has coupons for various items, depending on how much you spend.
The downside for this restaurant is it’s location, if you did not know it was next to Rick’s Ace Hardware at the Lamp and Lantern Shopping Center just west of Old Woods Mill Road and Clayton, you would never find it. That is a shame, because China Garden and the family that runs the restaurant deserve your business.
Our family cannot find a better place to order take out. The restaurant is tiny with only about 4 – 5 tables.

Food and service is great! I really enjoy their crab Rangoon and teriyaki chicken kabobs. The people are also very nice. I usually get the food delivered, and I was say it’s pretty fast; usually averages 20−25min.

I order from China Garden at least once week. The food is very delicious and fresh. Very nice family.
You guys should try the Pad Thai noodle, it is really good, it has peanut grounds and couple piece of lemon on the top.

Dark meat (maybe chicken) Not a fan…
If you don’t mind, then indulge. I have never enjoyed questionable meat parts in my rice and veggies.
I’ll stick with my all white meat chinese place. I had high hopes this would work for us. But unfortunately, won’t be back.

Another solid cheap chinese joint. Anything you are expecting at another hole in the wall chinese place, you will be able to find here. Their fried rice wasn’t as good as others though, had less flavor than most other places.
Portions are a lot, prices are cheap, so yeah, if you are in the area and lookin for a decent Chinese takeout for cheapz, this is your place.
Nothing really stands out as a big positive or a negative. I’ll be coming back a couple times for sure.

Fairly priced average Chinese food, friendly and fast service. The reason for my 5 stars is because of their convenience, you can order your food ONLINE! Being able to order online is very convient for lunch break I can order before break without the need to step away to talk on my phone! That alone earns 5 stars!

My order was wrong, it did not include any crab ragoon… which I ordered (it had an egg roll instead). I had ordered two egg rolls since I had gotten the crab ragoon… but I got spring rolls… and looking at my sesame seed chicken I am terrified. I just moved to Chesterfield from Creve Coeur (which had WAY better options) and I will NEVER order from this place again.

I dont understand some of the negative reviews here. I would agree that the crab rangoon is not the best in town. I go to Hunan Express for that. Its too sweet here. I would recommend the Mei Fun. Its awesome. I think dumpings are awesome either friend or steamed. Yes they are different than the thin skin potstickers most people are used to. But the thicker skin dumpling here is very similar to dim sum dishes which I find more authentic.

I used to come to this place often. but last time i call them, The people answer my phone is very rude. Never go back.

Average. Nothing special here. Crab Rangoon was very cream cheesy. Pork fried rice was weird. Egg rolls were probably the «best» thing I had… although, they forgot the one that was supposed to come with my combo. A big pile of «meh».

Large portions is about the only good thing I have to say. Food is just bland. Needs seasoning stat.

I used to live literally 1 minute away from here. I found it one day online, and it’s been my go to chinese restaurant ever since. It may be a hole in the wall but i always order out from there. No other place I have ordered from has come close to it. The food is amazing and the prices are great. I always get the sweet and sour shrimp combo plate with 2 crab rangoon. Its so good and filling!

Awful. Dirty restaurant. Creepy, yes creepy potstickers. Weird fried rice. Gross flavors. Threw it away rather than eat. So gross.

I order from this place all the time. The food is always consistently good. The wait staff is always courteous and accurate with the order and the time time until delivery. The special soup for two is great as are just about everything on the menu. The biggest surprise though is the plain chicken wings. No sauce, just fried wings. Kids love them! They are delicious.

I order from this place frequently and their food is always fresh hot and tasty. I’ve never had to wait for more than five minutes for my order and I love that they deliver. It’s a hard-​working family owned business, just the type of place I love to patronize. Excellent!

Dinner carryout. You order at the counter. There are a few tables for eating in, but it’s not too inviting.
I put in my order, paid, and left to do some Schnuck’s shopping while the order was being prepared.
Got moo goo gai pan and chicken with garlic sauce. Each dish came with a container of rice.
The garlic chicken was soooooo garlicky with much, much much tender and tasty white meat chicken (good-​sized pieces) with fresh mushrooms, carrots, celery, water chestnuts, pea pods and onions. I had ¹⁄₃ of it with about ¼ of the rice, and I was stuffed. Yum, yum!
The moo goo gai pan was the same tender white meat chicken, carrots, fresh mushrooms, pea pods, celery, onions, green pepper, sliced baby corn and broccoli. There’s some heat in this one. And it does linger. It was really good.
I got six meals out of this for $ 18. And the carryout containers are reusable.
