Customer service sux. Came here with my brother from Washington state, and was totally underwhelmed. We went to several pubs around the STL area and had great service! After that we went to Duffy’s and sadly it was by far the WORST!!! I live less than a mile away and will never come back, and will tell all not to waste their time here. It’s all about the customer experience, and Mike Duffy doesn’t get it.

We used to go to Duffy’s at least once a week when we moved here 2 years ago but the food and staff have not been great the last year :(The last time we ordered wings to go, there was plastic in them!

Three for lunch : Working west county today so we stopped in M.D. Two of us had the Chicken Chipotle Melt and the other Chicken Club. Food is great like it is at all the M. D,‘s I would like to have had a bit more heat on the Chicken Chipotle. WOW this place fills up real fast at lunch and the staff never takes a break. Fantastic service, our waitress kept the tea flowing and made sure we were a happy group of guy’s… This joint is well worth stopping at and having lunch… Yes we recommend any of the M.D. restaurants, we think you will be happy…

The wings were OK, but I’m a wing snob and tough critic. Did have takeout burgers once and they were pretty awesome! Staff was helpful and very polite. Will continue to go back and update reviews.

It a pub. It was packed. Busy. Noisy. Fish and chips were just ok. Fish was overlooked and dry. We stopped in purely driven by location. If location forces us to eat I. The area again, we won’t go here. Just an utterly forgettable pub lunch.

Sandwiches were good, nothing special. The service was not very good and the food was over-priced.

Love all the local pictures on the walls. This is how a sports bar should be designed. Good food; nice staff — but they’re a little slow sometimes. The burgers are good, but they’re not succulent as they used to be a few years ago. The crowd is families, middle-aged folks and senior citizens.

Very expansive menu! Something for everyone. Great specials during Cards games. The bartender/manager Kirk was very fast, friendly, and fun to chat with!

I had a wonderful lunch at Mike Duffy’s today. A great chicken sandwich and really nice coleslaw. My buddy had a hamburger which he absolutely loved. The waitress was Brin and she was an absolutely lovely person and did a great job serving us.

When I meet my fiancé for lunch on her day off and I’m at work this is where we usually go. Love the burgers here and the Spinach Artichoke Dip is awesome! The service everytime we’ve been is great.

After a hard day of brewing, we went to Mike Duffy’s with the D’s for a burger and beer. This is a regular spot for the D’s but a first for us. They have some St Louis craft beers so we availed ourselves of a few and ordered burgers. Ms T had sweet potato fries as usual and Ms D shared her waffle fries, which were very good. Ms T had a straight ahead Cheese burger and I ordered just a burger and had some slaw on the side. Duffy’s makes a better than average burger. Ours were juicy and had good grilled beef flavor. Ms T orders hers with no pink, I order medium rare and both were fixed right. I normally don’t like a Kaiser roll for a burger, but this one was fine, not too bready or dry or tough. If we want more than Smashburger, this would be the place we would go if staying close to home.

Burgers are great. Service is lacking. If you can’t find your server, she’s probably hanging out near the service bar with the rest of the staff.

The food was good. Haven’t been here for a few years. I now wonder why. The bison burgers were good and the sweet potato fries went well with the burgers. We sat outside and the service was great.

Best wings in STL by far. Seriously. I can’t speak much about the other items here since I always get the same thing but if you’re looking for the perfect wings, Duffy’s is the place.

Hmm… Let me start by saying that the staff and beer selection was great! The one star comes from the absolutely horrible frozen food that’s flash fried! I ordered the Ruben, you would think it would be great coming from a «Irish Pub» The corn beef I think came from Schnucks Deli across the parking lot along with the Malt Vinegar my girlfriend had with her oil soaked fried fish! I will never eat there again!

Four stars for the service. Three for the food. Mike Duffy’s has been around for as long as I can remember going back to the days when Spencer’s gifts used to be in the shopping center. We stopped in for a quick dinner and we were seated on the patio as it was amazing outside. Our server Brian was great. He was all over it as he had our drink orders in and the beers out quick. I had the buffalo chicken wrap and my wife went with the Southwest chicken wrap. Both were good as well as the fries. Solid but not spectacular. It is a good local spot to grab a quick bite and a beer.

Went for a low key dinner. The food was ok, but nothing spectacular. The manager was very nice and got us seated quickly even though they were busy because we had called ahead and been told we could be seated right away with a large group. When we arrived we were told there was going to be an hour wait but the manager quickly came and fixed the issue. Will go back for the beer and atmosphere when out in the area.

This review is based on several take out orders over a short period of time. My co workers often order Duffy’s for lunch since it is one of few places who delivers to my job. The dining room and delivery persons are not the subject of my complaints. My complaints stem from 1) the food and 2) the mgmt. First issue came when I requested that a turkey burger be substituted for my selection as I no longer consume beef or pork. I knew I would have to pay the difference, but when i was charged individually for the cheese which came on it, I was NOT happy. $.50 each for three(3) pieces of cheese. My turkey burger totaled $ 11. I called the restaurant concerned and the person on the phone offered to refund those charges and placed me briefly on hold. A male(who later said he was the person in charge) picked up the phone and very sternly REFUSED to honor the refund stating that«turkey cost more». I told him I was not disputing the extra charge for the turkey, but I was disputing the extra cost for the cheese. After going back and forth and damn near causing a scene at my job, I hung up the phone completely unsatisfied. Second issue came after months of «protesting» and refusing to patronize this place because of my past experience. I gave in and once again ordered lunch. I ordered their BBQ chicken sandwich and requested that my chicken be crispy and not grilled. Luckily, there was no extra charges involved. When my food arrived and I took my first bite, I noticed a heavy charred/burnt flavor. Examining my sandwich, I noticed the bun was BURNT(not scorched NOT grilled) and my chicken patty was extremely hard fried. In other words, it too was burnt. I decided not to call and protest, but I promise this will be the LAST time I EVER patronize this place. What prompted me to write such a «bad» review? My co workers just ordered today and they ALL said their french fries were BURNT and the burgers were dry. Sounds like this place needs a makeover from the kitchen all the way up thru mgmt. Their prices are reasonable and their delivery personnel are always quite friendly, but it takes more than this to keep me as a customer. Akoko R

Went about 3 p.m. today after some errands in the Town & Country Crossing. My son wasn’t so hungry. I was famished. I ordered a cheeseburger with Cheddar and COTTAGECHEESE as the side. Comes with onion, tomato, pickles and lettuce, if you desire. Wonderful! The burger was cooked as asked — medium — and was meat flavorful. Then I ate the pickles by themselves and put the lettuce, tomato and onion on the burger. Added a smidgen of ketchup and a load of mustard. YUMMY delicious bite!!! Nothing wrong with this burger. .. and the bun was A-OK, too, not too showy.(It’s not the show; the burger is!) My son ordered a small cheese pizza. I snagged a piece, and it was good — cheesy with a good crisp crust. Neither of us ate too much — about half. Took to-go vessels. The cottage cheese was a generous portion, and most of that came home, too! Service could have been a lot more attentive. We weren’t there to linger. But we were there between service, so not so much was happening on the floor. Just come check on us!

Great lunch specials available — all for only $ 6.95. They have two topping pizza and house salad, ¼ pound cheeseburger and salad, ½ French dip sandwich and salad, and other choices. Regular full menu also available. My only complaint is they are always busy for lunch AND if you eat at a table, they now won’t bring your salad to you before they bring your pizza. You receive it ALL at the same time. Not a good decision. Otherwise, it is good to eat — go at least once a week! Steve
