PF Changs never seems to dissapoint me. Everytime I come here the service is always pretty good and waiters are generally pretty nice. The food is always great and the one flaw is how long it takes for the food to come out.

Great location and great food — highly recommend the BBQ ribs. The wonderful soup is also a fantastic deal. The only negative with this restaurant is the hit or miss customer service… I’ve had ok experiences with the waiters a few times, but most of the time they will disappear inexplicably for half hour or more. They seem to get very poor training from management. Also, do not order the dry-rubbed ribs unless you enjoy eating something that is what I would imagine a mummified horse’s leg tastes like.

We had a terrible meal at PF Chang’s in Chevy Chase today. I expected to get my carryout food at 11am, but I waited for around half an hour. The rice from all dishes were not cooked enough time and the fried rice was probably from yesterday’s leftover. None of the dishes tasted good. Too much oil and too much burns. And even worse, all of the family members got the stomach ache after the meal. My stomach is still very uncomfortable while I am writing this review. I really regret going to this place today and I have a bad day from it.

Had dinner here tonight with amazing friends. I have been coming here since it opened at White Flint. The food is always amazing and tonight was no different. I forgot to mention the best thing of all. The chef there is the greatest ever, his name is Silus. My favorite dish is the Dan Dan noodles, I have only tried one other dish. I found out night that my beloved Dan Dan noodles have been removed from the menu, OMG!!! I asked the waiter about them and told him they were my favorite. He asked Silus and he made them for me. That is true customer service!!! Thank you again Silus!!!

P.F. Chang’s is so comforting to me; the food that’s offered isn’t in the«comfort food» category by any means, but for some reason, their food makes me smile :-) Anyway, I’ve been to P.F. Chang’s before; however, this is the first time that I am writing a review. I typically order the Salt and Pepper Prawns(delicious!). My sis ordered the Lobster Rice. I tasted it, and it was okay. My sis said she wouldn’t order it again. We also had the Spicy Tuna Roll as an appetizer(marvelous!). I can’t say that I’ve ever been to P.F. Chang’s and left unsatisfied!

31 minutes for takeout– I might as well have done Meiwah and risked their issues for a shorter wait time, with a bigger portion for two-thirds of the PFC price. Avoiding the blatantly Americanized Chinese dishes didn’t help; shaking beef was done with strips of meat instead of cubes, doused in a generic soy-based sauce with a hit of lime and red chili flakes on a sparse bed of mixed greens and halved grape tomatoes. I’m rounding up for decent brown rice.

Alright let me start with the service. We were sat by the host and looked over the menu, chose what we wanted to order and were still sitting for another 10 minutes before we asked another server who was supposed to be helping us. She said she would check for us and we asked if she would just take our order since we were ready to order and hungry! She did. But in that whole time we did not get water or any comments from any of the staff. We put our menus down and looked around, seeming ready to order. For an appetizer we got the salt and pepper calamari. These are strips instead of the usual rounds. The breading was soft, opposed to the super crunchy kind that some restaurants use. I liked the light and soft outside and the sauce it came with was delicious! I love sweet and sour for calamari there was salt and pepper in another dipping bowl. I skipped it for my first few, then tried dipping it in that after the sweet and sour sauce and it did add quite a bit of flavor! For the meal we got the Korean BBQ chicken sauté. This was ok, not enough sauce or flavor. The chicken was a little dry too. This came with rice and we asked for brown rice instead but white rice came out so we had to correct them. They were quick to bring out the brown rice though. The experience in general was pretty bad and after I finished my first glass of water it was not filled up again. If I come back I’ll make sure I arrive an hour before I want to eat…

Service is sorely lacking. Very few servers who are overwhelmed. Kitchen is dog slow — if you have 2 hours to kill, this is the place for you. If not, skip it. Food was adequate, when it finally got here. It took 40 minutes to get food, even thought the restaurant was almost empty. Food was lukewarm even though it was supposedly«fresh» (Lack of) service highlights: hostess kept guests waiting for 10 minutes, kitchen was so slow the manager comped our food, server was clearly overwhelmed running both tables and bar, poor service. There is no excuse — this place is not packed and even when people come in, there is no hostess to greet them.

We ate here a few nights ago. Meal was ok. I haven’t eaten at PF Changs in a long time… wasn’t as good as I remember. Service was prompt and attentive.

Why am I here! Worst service, average or maybe below average food. The vegetables aren’t even chopped before putting them in dishes. Hostess is highly confused about where to seat us because she doesn’t know what section is whose. Random. Never. Coming. Back.

Food is good. The service is really bad. The restaurant was almost empty but the food took a long time. We cancelled main dish after a 25 min waiting. No team work at all among the staff. Also, they should not sweep the floor next to your table while you are having lunch.

The food here was standard of changs quality but the service was unbelievably bad! We came hungry and ordered food right away and asked to have it brought quickly. It took forever! The sever did not come to check on us. The place was not busy at all probably because everyone knows to stay away! After the server brought the food he did not come to check on us. We spilled a glass of water and nobody noticed or offered to clean it up. We had to repeatedly go to the hostess to ask her to get our server. We ordered spring rolls that they never brought us and had to ask to have it taken off the check. Maybe people were to busy doing drugs in the back of the restaurant to pay attention to us. We used to go to the Pf changs at white flint and never had a bad experience dinning in. Avoid this place if you can help it!

I was used to the easy accessibility of the PF Chang’s in White Flint. I had so much trouble finding this place the first time we decided to try this location. You can’t see it from the street. After parking we had to wander around looking for this place and then in the distance you see this tiny little sign with the name on it. I don’t know if anyone else ever had this problem I just found it annoying. Upon entering the restaurant the way it is set up there really isn’t a waiting area and the restaurant itself is rather small. We waited for a good 10 minutes before someone finally decided to ask us if we were being helped. It was rather awkward because the restaurant wasn’t busy and you pretty much see everyone walking around ignoring you. I don’t understand what the issue was but they are usually really good with greeting you at the other locations. Once we were seated our waiter was great. He was quick to take our order and was attentive without being intrusive. I know its not the greatest chinese food but my son enjoys the Mongolian Beef and I really love the Jicama Tacos. They have updated the menu and they now offer lots of little tasting plates you can share. Stuff that used to just be served at happy hour. If you are looking for authentic chinese food this isn’t the place for you. Its a nice place to get a bite to eat and a good drink after a day of shopping.

Several PF Chang’s have opened in the northern Virginia/Maryland area. Just because they share the name, does not mean that everyone offers the same quality of food. I think it depends on the chef not the chain name. At this location the food is very good. We had the two for forty deal, which is a good deal! Here’s our selection: 1) handmade shrimp dumplings– very good 2) California roll — outstanding 3) hot and sour soup– good 4) Shrimp Kung Pao — outstanding 5) Almond and Cashew Chicken– average 6) Chocolate Raspberry Wontons — good They’ve added new items to the menu, which was long overdue and welcome change. Sushi was fresh and tasty! Must try. Special mention of our server — Nemo! He was attentive and sharp. Made the dining experience here a good one.

I’ve been to the PF Chang’s in Atlanta many times over, yet not since around 2010 and the Dunwoody location was my favorite spot. This last minute dinner decision was a good one, as it was a nice & refreshing experience. The décor has definitely evolved over the years, perhaps with an extra special touch due to the area. The ancient art mixed with Asian fusion gives the place an enjoyable mix of ambiance & balanced energies. The lighting & its fixtures really nailed the Feng Shui illumination goals. Now on to the menu: it still has some of PFC house specials & such, yet the additions of the miniature sushi selection & small plates were good to see. Their traditional wok prepared items has always been a good benefit when dining here. I really like how PFC has simplified Chinese food, which always makes the food look & taste so much cleaner and fresher. Next, our server: he must have been new as he almost invited us to another restaurant as he stuttered on saying«Welcome to PFC», too funny. Good save though as I think the bar napkin helped him. He was a little slow in understanding my general inquires of the allergens & gluten free items, but I appreciated the fact that if he wasn’t sure, he would get the answer… and that worked just fine for me. But bless his heart when I asked for a glass of Malbec & that the House selection was sufficed… the«house» comment threw him totally off & I thought I lost him for good LOL. He will be a great Server one day! My selection of the evening was the Kaleidoscope Roll as it had most of my Fav’s — Ahi, salmon, avocado, mango, and cucumbers. When it came out, it had a nice presentation going on. However, I noticed an ingredient that looked like Mayo or such, so I paused. When our server came back, I asked him again if there were any dairy or egg ingredients, and he responded«I don’t know, but hold tight for a second». He did me righteous as the Operations Manager Jesse came quickly to my table and educated me on the ingredients… I was good to go and the roll was very fresh and tasty. We also chopped it up for a few seconds about the new additions that I haven’t tried due to my long awaited return to PFC, and was excited to see the Gluten Free items, especially the Quinoa. Hence, Jesse brought me out a nice portion of Quinoa to try. I am definitely trying the Fried Veggie Rice with Quinoa substitution on my next visit. Such always great customer service when the«Top Dog» of an eatery establishment takes the time out to speak with you and with such a pleasant demeanor top boot. I also had the Veggie Rolls aka«Vietnamese Rolls» which was paired with a sweet chili sauce that was also consumed with a happy stomach. Since my foodie greediness kicked in, I added the«small plate» Sichuan-Style Asparagus. I really like Wok-fired dishes & this one had a nice chili paste/garlic combo going on… and the onions seemed to be caramelized. Just an overall well satisfied culinary experience. My extended absence from PFC ended with a fulfilling and pleasant experience, and I look forward to going back this weekend!

I have been here numerous times, just haven’t been able to Unilocal it. Usually it’s no biggie in getting a table. Though our hostess is nice, it takes a minute for our waiter to get here. It was hot out, so we were ready for our waters. So this is more like an upscaled Chinese restaurant with a little flair. My favorites are Human Chicken, Kung Pao Beef and General Tso chicken. All are prepared fresh and very tasty. I can tell that they don’t use the msg stuff or the bad stuff that makes you sick when you get take out. Everyone was happy with their order. Presentation was nice, we’ll with that price tag it should be. Service is where the stars decline. Our waiter delivers our food to our tables and then he disappears into the sunset. The sangria is soo good but weak. The dessert was devine! I had a chocolate dome it was worth every calorie.

Food gets high rating but service left something to be desired. While I was there picking up a take out order I noticed that they were interviewing new wait staff. I’m not sure how much time and energy they invest in promoting customer service but it would really help make the experience better for me. I noticed the same thing at the one other PF Changs I have been to.

I work in the area, so i drop in to PF Chang’s from time to time for lunch. A pleasant ambiance, and the waiters will greet you politely most of the time. The menu however, is just standard chinese fare, something you’d have seen at most«franchise» style chinese restaurants. Having said that, I do like having their hot&sour soup, the kung pao, and the sesame chicken. But it grows old soon enough. I know they’ve recently introduced some new items on the menu, but i would love to see some further innovation.

Man, dining choices in Friendship Heights are pretty limited. Even the non-chain restaurants(looking at you, booeymongers and Lias) are kind of mediocre. So part of what made this dining experience pretty good was the fact I had mentally prepared myself for a certain level of suburban mediocrity. Anyways, the tuna with wasabi guacamole was actually really good. Four nice sized pieces of tuna set around a bed of arugula with a tasty vinaigrette. With a tablespoon of wasabi guacamole on the side which was delicious, but again, only a tablespoon. 4 stars instead of 3 because the bartender was awesome. I wish I Remembered her name but she was great and the drinks were strong. The salted caramel cake at the end was kinda mediocre. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.

I was in the area recently for something and I saw this place nearby, so I decided to grab some food. This particular location is on top of a Whole Foods Market. There were 2 ways to get to it — stairs on either side or an elevator to the plaza. It was late in the day and so the place was fairly empty — just a few bar patrons and some folks outside eating. The place overall seemed quite spacious. On this visit, I opted to do take out. It was late in the day, so I was surprised that they still served lunch portions after 4pm. I ordered the Crispy Honey Chicken. It came with a choice of white or brown rice and a choice of egg drop soup or a salad. I got white rice and salad. Since I was doing carry-out, I glanced at what I had vs looking, as I would have ordered something in addition to what I received. The portion that I got for the chicken looked very small with lots of rice and the salad portion was not any better. It was as if I were eating a kids portion as I needed something else to fill me up. Hopefully if I go back to this restaurant during lunch hour, I can order the dinner portion instead to see if that is better. The food tasted okay, but the salad was not to my liking — the dressing had a slight lemon taste. I will go back to this restaurant again, but I will stick to dinner vs lunch.
