Stopped in at the library to get a library card. so on my way out I stopped at the Library Café. What a cute place! Staff is friendly, plenty of chairs and tables and the coffee is delicious. I ordered 2 small white mochas and a brownie. The brownie was delicious! A+++ Look forward to returning!

A cute little café with awesome prices! The baristas are always super patient and sweet, even when it takes me a while to decide! The chicken sandwich(with artichoke hearts) is fantastic. I love taking my little sister here for Italian sodas(lots of flavored too!) when we go to the library!

The skinny: Things have made a turn for the worst… I previously gave the Library Café 4 stars, even saying I preferred it to the very popular Seattle-based chain(the one with the mermaid on the logo). However, my most recent experiences have been below sub-par. One time I ordered a chai latte. I didn’t think to try it until I had driven off(my mistake). There was the usual chai and hot milk, but there was something else… expresso(their mistake)!! A chai latte is the easiest thing to make besides a steamer. Just mix the chai concentrate with milk, then steam. Who taught the«barista» to add expresso? Yuck. Then came my usual toffee nut mocha with an extra shot. Now I’ve noticed a chalky texture, probably due to the mocha powder they use. Maybe too much powder? Maybe not mixed adequately? Either way, yuck. Another time, I didn’t taste any expresso at all. Just tasted like a diluted hot chocolate. I give them a generous 2 stars only because their lemon bars are delicious. As are their sandwiches. And their drip coffee. Please, Library Café, don’t mess those up too.

Great little coffee shop located inside(and run by) the Laramie County Library. Serves coffee and tea, other drinks and snacks. You can take your food and drinks into the library. Wifi is available throughout the library including the café. You will need a library card or a visitor’s pass(available for $ 1 good for the entire day) to use it. Full Disclosure: I work at the library but did not post this as part of my duties. They serve a good cup of coffee and belong in the database.
