I heard my fiancée’s nephew rock out for the first time here: Spyderbone. The crowd enjoyed the bands, pizza was excellent! Drinks were reasonable. Must be a classic, local bar!

I’ve been here twice to see a friend play, first in the beer garden and then inside. I enjoyed being outdoors in the beer garden more because it had a better ambiance than the rather dark, nondescript inside. As others have noted, the bathrooms could definitely use some T.L.C. The bouncer and bartender were nice.

The food was pretty good, the bartender, Adam, was awesome !!! Have live music which is cool but the sound system is not good ! The inside is kinda strange, lots of empty wall space w no real theme to it and the bathrooms need. A lot lol

My husband and I used to come here once in awhile because of the bands. They have had some great bands here, and always a variety, unlike some other bars. I have heard everything from Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Alice in Chains, Pantera, and Led Zeppelin cover bands here. Not all of us want to hear the same overplayed Bön Jovi, or club music. Food that I had here was good, bartenders pretty good and friendly. No complaints here except the occasional goon which can be anywhere. An ok bar if you ask me.

New owner came in and ruined his business within 30 days! Cut off half of the good djs, restricted the girl staff from smoking, having a customer buy a drink, and telling them to dress like an alter girl. After that he lost his promotions, customers and the last to leave i think was the camera guy. lol Man i have never in my life walked in and seen only 5 people on a friday night. Im looking forward to the grand closing, i could use some chairs.

Last night I went to this bar for the first time, The DJ was very indulgent, it was advertised as a 70′, 80’s night and I think he played 2 songs from the 80’s and none from the 70’s. I was told that the $ 15 cover was because he was there from some radio station I am sure glad that radio stations are preprogrammed because if he were picking the songs no one would listen. «Get a clue man!» the bar was packed and there was no one on the dance floor. The bar itself was clean and the wait staff was friendly. The reason I am only giving this bar one star is because there was no alcohol in my drink. I know they were only $ 6 but, I have had $ 6 dollar drinks downtown and could see through my drink. Charging $ 2.25 for water is also crazy who do they expect to drive the drunk’s home in the burbs? So if you are looking for some where to go in Chicago Ridge skip this place unless you are a beer drinker.

Most degrading establishment to ever attend as a woman. Don’t waste your time or money for what is sure to be a night of wondering whether or not you’ve contracted a venereal disease.

Typical strip mall suburban bar where people look months under 21. Nothing special here and they play a weird assortment of music here that is usually very loud.

It was my first time at Bobbys this past Saturday. It wasn’t bad on the inside. The stage setup was good and it sounded awesome in there while the bands were playing. Kudos to the sound guy. I didn’t have any food but the people I was with said the Philly Cheese steak was awesome. No problems with the staff I dealt with and some of the bouncers were cool as hell. $ 3 for a bud light is just OK but not bad. My biggest problem with this place were the type of people in there. They were juiced up, affliction wearing, wannabe jersey shore polish people. So much testosterone floating around that place. From getting shoulder checked, to having juice heads walking up and flexing their muscles in everyones faces and then challenging random people to arm wrestling matches. Fights were bound to break out and they did. I may go back there again if my friends bands play there again but other than that probably not until they get a different type of crowd in there,

This place has gone from OK, to just plain stupidly horrific. First of all, you can’t tell from the people who work there from the people who are patrons in the place. Except for the couple of overweight guys walking around with microphones screaming who knows what, because they either don’t know how to use a mic or the PA system is outdated. As for food… not possible on a Friday night… There were a couple beer tubs open, but they are not even paying attention to people walking by. I honestly don’t know what she was staring at… just looking off into space.(Ditz) The place is way too overcrowded and there are people climbing the fences in the outdoor patio to avoid the huge $ 5 cover(Sarcasm). Actually, I can’t believe I paid for this dump but who knows… They do have a little VIP or cigar room, whatever it is… It doesn’t fit… Ya want to save $ 5 and your time, just go down to Hooters… at least there is some class there and you don’t get run into by fat guys with microphones… and you can easily get a drink…

This place would be so much better if they fixed their bathrooms, had better food, and added a few waitresses on Mondays. I went there over the weekend to see my friend’s band play and I have to say its not a bad little venue. They have a nice size stage and a dance floor, plus theres a little room off to the side that has a speperate bar and DJ. The main thing that really disgusted me were their bathrooms, There was literally sewage water coming up from the drain in the ground, Heres the kicker though, when I told the bartender that there was sewage water comming up from the lad’y’s bathroom floor, he coldly answered, «It’s not my problem, what do you want me to do about it?» I couldn’ believe his attitutde. I wish he could have at least lied and said he would look into it, but no he did nothing, The only other thing is on Mondays everything is half price, I mean everything. Thats a awesome deal, I really didn’t want to go because of the bathroom incident but my boyfriend assured me it would be worth it. Just to name a few things that pissed me off; theres only one waitress, yeah one waitress and there were over 20 tables! Second, well I guess you know where Im going with this, the service was so slow and I didn’t want to blame the only waiteress cause its not her fault but OMG, not to mention the food was terrible, nachos cold, hot wings tasted funky. I will only go back if a friend’s band is playing and hopefully I wont have to use the bathroom too often.

Always have drink specials always have live music. This place has really cleaned up from a year ago. Friendly service and a wide variety of people, they even have a kitchen. Worth a visit.
