the. Worse customer service!!! I went there 2 days ago looking for some stones to decorate my wedding dress. I asked two employees to help me. One didn’t know where was at least the glue and put no effort to do it and the second said I am right back but never came back. The only person helpful and friendly there is a young guy at the register. He helped me the first time I visited that location. But the second time it was owful…

Found everything my daughter who is the crafty DYI person needs. This is her favorite place from knitting to creating to painting. there is always something here that she can use. This location is huge! I love that they always send me coupons and every time we go we find what we need.

My experience here has been good so far. The staff is helpful when I’m looking for an item and the selection of products is good too. I also like the location, it’s right next to the mall and a grocery store, so I can get other errands done on one trip. The only complain I have is that sometimes there are only a couple of lines open which makes the check-out wait longer than other locations. Besides that, everything is good.

I was so glad when this Michael’s opened because the one in Ford city was a disaster. This one is much bigger, cleaner, and right by the mall. I don’t understand why they don’t have an entrance to the mall. O well, maybe they had their reasons. The only thing I don’t like is that they always seem to be out of the yarn I need. I guess they could be better stocked.

Place needs more consistency with staff and coupons. Frames were 30% off and I have a 40% off 1 item so I use the coupons instead of the 30% sale and am told you can only use the coupon when an item is not on sale. I have used this coupon and sometimes I am told I can use it and sometimes I am told I can not. Staff is helpful if you can find them which is a search in it self.

I have to say I love Michaels. I hate to admit it, but I have become one of «those» moms. You know those moms… the moms who hold on to ticket stubs for everything from movies to Disney on Ice. The mom who holds on to everything their kids scribble on a sheet of paper. The mom who takes a million pictures at every event. Yup, thats me. The sentimental hoarder. Thankfully, Michaels and the scrapbooking craze have entered my life. I can now hoard all these things in a cute, chronologically organized and color coordinated manner with all the cute scrapbooking stuff they sell. My little one is also an aspiring pastry chef, so we do quite a bit of shopping here in the bakery aisle. Everything from cupcake liners to cake pans to frosting tips… happy I can get a good amount of stuff here for her. The specialty items we order online, but I would say we can get about 70% of the stuff she needs/wants at Michael’s…which is great. Now the bad… the staff here drives me bonkers! There is always, always a line here at checkout. It’s not even that busy of a store. Like today, one cashier was open. Two girls chit-chatting away and giggling by register 1&2…but they were not open. Another person wandering around in circles… another person looked like they were putting something away. I was so annoyed because I was in a hurry. I asked the chatty girls if they were open, they said no… this register is closed. Then they proceeded to chat again. What… the…heck. Seriously?! They obviously saw I was annoyed, but could care less. Not cool. Thank goodness for Zack. He was ringing up people like a champ. A woman approached the chatty girls and asked if they had square canvases, they were both like… uhhhh. Zack kindly excused himself from the person he was ringing up before me and explained all the sizes they had of canvases in stock. Bravo Zack for knowing your stuff and jumping in to provide good customer service. Zack is awesome, and his purple hair rocks too. I think he deserves a promotion. If only more employees were like him at this location… it would make this store amazing. So in conclusion, love, Love, LOVE Michaels… just not this location. The line is always ridiculously slow, but today just really irked me to the point of writing about it.

This Michael’s has a great stock of items that are always missing in the other stores. The kids classes are really great at this store. They have an art camp, M-F, 90 min each day for $ 25(the whole week)! Materials included! And the projects are wonderful. I’m not giving them the full five stars because there isn’t enough staff available around the store to answer questions. Definitely, take the time and see if your nearest Michaels offers these really great classes.
