Official Cuts

I’m sure they may cut hair, of all types, very well BUT their service is terrible and unacceptable. Anywhere you have to wait 3hrs, as a walk in, is total disrespect for other people’s time! FOH!

This place sucks. Let me start by saying these guys hype themselves up on Instagram. You’ll see the «Los cut it» guy in his skin tight leather pants making duck face selfies in every photo with clients and the other crew members do the same. I figured with all the Instagram buzz they would be good. Wrong! Walk in here and no one acknowledges you with a hi or hello, unless you are Arabic then you hear 3 or 4 barbers shout out asalam alaykum. None of the barbers want to do walk ins. Then after you finally do get someone to cut your hair it’s 15 dollars, and a «little more» next time by appointment which happens to be 50 dollars. The majority of the time the barbers are to caught up in convos amongst themselves to pay attention to you. Go somewhere else, save your money.

There is a certain barber here that never has time for his clients! We tried for two weeks to make an appointment and no luck, so we had to look elsewhere for a haircut. Bad customer service!

This is the best barbershop in the suburbs!!! They always do a great job no matter who cuts my son’s hair. They take their time and always makes sure their customers are satisfied. Thanks Official Cuts!!!

Great service and great work. I think his name was Sam that cut my one year old sons hair. He was patient and pleasant with him. Did a great job. I will def be back. I also like the cleanliness and the atmosphere of this establishment.

There are few places that seem to get it right, time after time. However, this shop has consistently gotten it perfect for me, with the exception of once…49/50 ain’t bad! Clean environment, above board atmosphere, courteous staff, professional detailed cuts… who could ask for more? Samy and the gang do their thing serving a multi ethnic clientele, 7 days a week.

If you’re in Chicago or in the suburbs you definitely have to check out Official Cuts Barber Shop! These guys are very talented from fades to line ups and graphics as well. It’s a clean atmosphere environment and they have like 5 TVs with a surround sound system ! If you’re tired of barbers messing up your hair cut and waiting in long lines then you should come check these guys out they have my full recommendations !

After years of periodically getting bad haircuts, fades that wouldn’t fade and line-up’s that were more like scratch-up’s, I noticed a guy at the gym with a clean fade that looked perfect. I asked the clean-​cut guy where he got his hair cut and he told me, «Official Cut’s on Southwest Highway.» Well, it is OFFICIAL that I have then since been a customer for 8 – 9 years now and have never once been unhappy with my haircut. The barbers at Official Cut’s are not your average barbers, each barber brings something different to the table, or shall I say, «chair.» Everyone has their own style and can do pretty much anything upon your request. The owner, Yahia does my hair and through the years I have got my hair cut by the other Official Cut’s barbers and have always been satisfied. I can tell you more and more how clean, professional and classy this barber shop is but you need to find out for yourself, so either walk-​in or call and schedule an appointment ASAP. Remember your appearance commands respect so go get cleaned up at Official Cut’s!

I’ve been coming to this shop for a little over 4 years and I can honestly say that this is the best shop in town. Adam is my barber but you can go to anyone in the shop they all know how to cut any type of hair. The atmosphere is welcoming and there’s always a good conversation going on.

Been coming here for 7 years. Always walk out looking better then I walked in. They do appointments and walk ins! Best part is they are priced just like most barbershops only the haircuts are always amAzing. Would highly recommend them to any person of all ages! Best in town, hands down!

Used to come here when i lived in Justice. Although i had one barber i dealt with specifically i can honestly say that all of them do a pretty good job. Doesn’t matter what kind of hair you got, they can cut it. They keep the area pretty nice and clean and they have a couple flat screens in the joint for entertainment. Like most shops they sell snacks and tees and cell phone accessories. My nephew was long overdue for a cut so i took him but despite living where i do now i would still make the trip to this shop if i wasn’t doing the bald thing,
