7-Eleven

Pretty clean for a 7 – 11 and a good selection of fresh items such as bananas

Nice neat display up front and things are all in a good order, in logical places so you don’t have to walk around looking stupid. They have all the pop you could imagine (even the new Shaq juice. its nasty but worth a try).
Slurpee machine works and has the best flavors. They have the Super Duper Big Gulp for the Popaholics like myself ;) Hot dogs all the fixin’s, nacho mam cheese, the sausage in the pancake we used to eat in grade school (I would fight for mine real talk)
And if you can’t find your angry bird fruit chews the staff knows where to find it… they all move super fast like speedy Gonzales (not saying that because they are Mexican girls… you thought of it so… that was the only fast thing I could think of. sure they would laugh at it… ha…look I’m Black so I… nevermind)
I have seen some of the MOST ratchet of Ratchetville come in to buy pop and honey buns (my favorite combo) with link cards, cursing and talking loud and the cashiers keep it cool. That’s a warning beware of the chick with pop and a honey bun, you might get cursed out for being alive… there’s really no telling.
The bad part is the salad and sandwiches please don’t buy before you flip and look at the bottom… most of them are old. The owner was really good however at getting back with me, I bought a salad and it was green on top and brown at bottom (grossss!!!) probably not his fault but he gave me a new salad and refund.
He called me on my cell about an hour after I put in general complaint on-​line and put in my phone number. He was an Indian guy which explains the 7 am Indian music you hear sometimes (this is looking more and more racist but I have Indian friends so I know how the accent sounds… look I’M BLACK so I ain’t hattin… dang YOU stop trippin)
Overall pretty good experience, I go once a day and I work really close by so keep them in business and go get your POP on.

This is my favorite 7-​Eleven because of the wonderful staff. I work near this building and see them often. They remember me as a customer and I know their names after coming here regular for a couple of years. The staff is friendly, efficient, and demonstrates a genuine like for the people who shop at this store. Because the store has an alcove, it is also a repository for the homeless periodically. The staff runs them away but with kindness and compassion. I suspect the staff also leave items for the homeless in the back. I have never seen the staff be aggressive or rude to the people who are down on their luck which is a great humanitarian character for a loop store. They also tell you about specials and upcoming things 7-​Eleven is offering like the any size coffee for a buck Wednesdays or the 69 cent Big Gulp to save you money. And the store is superbly maintained. My students also go there quite a bit and once they describe products that appeal to the masses, the store will often invest in that product. If sales are good, the supply gets better.

I really like this 7 Eleven it is down the street from my condo and has anything you need really quick and they are open 24 hours. The reason I am giving them two stars because I think they should keep the homeless out of the store. I am trying to pay for my items and the guy reaches over my purse and the cashier doesn’t say one word to him. I understand is trying to bag my items to make some extra change but DAMN!!! Get from up over my purse!!! (LOL)

I like this particular 7 Eleven because it is literally right around the corner from my job, so when I need something right away, I don’t have to walk very far. Forgot my umbrella once, went right there and got another one… needed some feminine hygiene products one day…7 Eleven right around the corner. I admit they hike up the price on things, but I only go here when it’s too inconvenient for me to walk 2 more blocks to Walgreens!!!
Oh…and it’s super clean too, since it just opened… that’s always a plus!
