7-Eleven

It’s 10:39p.m. whoever the lady is working right now is AWESOME! Greeted me immediately when I walked in and made eye contact even though she was busy. Now the store, the CLEANEST 7 – 11 I have ever walked into. Also, very organized. The food on the roller grill even looked good and fresh. I ended up buying two roller grill items and wasn’t even hungry! Lmao The lady there was so polite, not only to me, but to the other customers as well. I couldn’t help but to take a few moments to acknowledge this particular location, because some 7−11s are HORRIBLE! BY THE WAY… ALLLLL OF THE SLURPEE FLAVORS WERE UP AND RUNNING AND READY TO GO! SOOOOOO AWESOME! Keep up the good work because this is my go-​to location for 7 – 11 now and I shop at 7 – 11 very often.

The staff is completely new here in the last few months and they are horrible. The previous staff was always so friendly Seems like the store is under new ownership or something.

I entered the store to purchase snacks and drinks. There was a line at the soda machine (two Caucasian females and three males (two Caucasian and one Latino)).
Due to the line, i went to the hanging/​bagged snack aisle to select my snacks. When the line at the soda machine cleared I returned to the soda machine.
At that time a Latino male, identifying himself as Fidel, approached me and asked if I needed assistance. I replied no thank you. He then told me I had been in the store too long and told me to leave. I replied I am getting my stuff why do I need to leave? He informed me I had been in the store too long. I told him fine, I will take my business elsewhere. He laughed and said fine we don’t need your kind in here anyway.
I exited the store at that time.
I returned to the store to request the franchisee’s name and contact information. An individual identifying herself as the franchisee stated that her name was Cecelia. I requested the franchisee’s number and the telephone number to the corporate headquarters. She initially stated that she did not have to provide that information to any customer. I informed her that under Illinois consumer protection laws she did need to provide that information to me and that if she failed to do so, I was contacting the consumer protection division of the Attorney General’s office as I felt I had been harassed, singled out and discriminated against either due to my disability or sexual orientation. Cecelia then became flustered and looked to Fidel for guidance. Fidel instructed her to just print a receipt and get me out of the store.
Cecelia printed the receipt. Upon review of the receipt NONE of the requested information that I requested was on it.
Time of the incident approximately 230pm Central on 8÷7÷2014

Staff is rude. It is so sad because I love this neighborhood because of all the friendly people; I literally HATE this place.
I went in and asked if they decaf and the woman just pointed to the coffee section. I came back and said «oh you don’t have decaf?» And she shrugged her shoulders. Ummm you work here! Another time I went in and asked for one creamer for my coffee that I made from home and a staff said no. Then I said I’ll pay 25 cent for one creamer and she said no and she turned her back to me.
Just rude people

I love this 7 – 11. They are always so nice!!!

Hot dogs, its all about the hot dogs.

I ran in here to get some fuel for the drive back to the southside, and I was pleased with the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. I didn’t eat any hot dogs, (personally hot dogs under lamps scare me along with some other things I won’t mention), but the soda I got was ice cold and just what I needed to get my second wind and get back on the road since I swore off Red Bull… but their display of Red Bull almost made me reconsider…

I stop in here 5 days a week for lunch. Maria behind the deli counter makes the best sandwiches… FRESH daily !!! I go out for lunch every day, so I can’t afford to spend ten dollars every day. I can eat here for 5.00. Smoked turkey with pepperjack on whole wheat… cmon, it’s awesome.
