7-Eleven

It’s a 7 – 11, lol. This one is new to the area. The staff often says hi when you come in which isn’t normal in my 7 – 11 experiences. The selection is good and they actually have my Red Mountain Dew which is getting harder to find by the 20oz bottle! It’s also clean and well lit.

Nice, big 7 – 11. Although it’s not exactly far from the 7 – 11 just down Damen, that one is far enough away that I would never walk to it for something quick, as it’s just not that convenient for me. This new store actually fills a bit of a need for a convenience store in this part of Bucktown. Happy to have it, and good to have something in the old SpinCycle space. Not necessarily a fun business like a new restaurant, but well suited to this mini-​strip mall. A quality, nearby convenience store is a highly underrated asset.
