Tipico bar de hotel, poucas mesas disponiveis e garçons sempre ocupados que demora para te atender. Cardapio amplo de cocktails mas com opções limitadas de comida. Saladas disponíveis, mas não estão no cardápio.

Food was ok. Buy I only went for breakfast. Short rib hash was the best thing I ate from them. Beef was tender and potatoes flavorful. Otherwise it’s a pretty basic breakfast, with a very pricey price tag. $ 32 for breakfast buffet. Expensive! Good thing the company paid, just wasn’t expecting a large price tag. Servers were fairly attentive. Not a bad spot at all, just expensive for what you get.

We went for the Thanksgiving buffet — it was great. Good selection of food, including beef, seafood, and a ham carving station. The desserts were especially good. Staff were very friendly and didn’t make any attempt to rush us, which we very much appreciated.

We went here on Thanksgiving day and I would never go back. The food was sub-par and the place was not busy at all yet it took forever to get a servers attention. The only decent thing that we ate was the pie, but we saw them take the pies out of boxes, so they didn’t even make it themselves. If you’re in the area and just want to order a cocktail you may be able to find use for this place, but do NOT go here to eat. You will be utterly disappointed.

My friend and I stopped by for cocktails. She was very happy with hers. My Sidecar was a bit sweet for me but definitely was not watered down. I think we both agreed that we got a good value.

Hotel restaurant, right? Only the NY strip and mashed potatoes were outstanding! Our visit was last Friday night and a terrific waiter suggested the comfort foot we craved after s long day of travel. Worth a look!

I was staying at the Hilton Chicago where this place is located. It was late, rainy outside, & I need something to eat. Thus I ended up here. The sliders & truffle fries on the menu caught my eye. Thank you for having your menu online. It was pretty empty & I found a server to inquire about placing a to go order. Since I knew what I wanted he took my order & gave me a class of water. Quick & easy. The bill was also brought out quickly before I even had food. A bit pricey for two sliders & truffle fries but that’s what happens when one doesn’t want to leave the hotel. My order came out pretty quickly & I took it to my room. The sliders were way smaller than any others I have had. For $ 6/each I expected them to be bigger than kids menu size. The truffle fries were tasty but way too much parmesan. It looked like the lid fall off the cheese shaker & no one cared to dust it off or make a new batch of fries. I shook off the excess myself. Hopefully I don’t have to be subjected to this place again during my stay. Not worth the cost in my opinion.

I’m surprised this place is rated so low but that may be because many reviewers talked about the food and I’ve only been here for drinks. I was staying at the Hilton for a few days and trying to meet up with as many friends as possible while I was in town. This lobby bar was a perfect meetup place as it was obviously super convenient for me and I loved the sleek modern ambiance. Out of 4 nights at the hotel, I went here twice. Both times, the staff was friendly and timely and the drinks were on point. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town!

We ate here three times during our stay, twice for breakfast since it was included in our room and once for room service dinner. Pros: Good service for breakfast. Large buffet for breakfast including fresh fruit, french toast, meats, etc. and had an egg station to make any eggs you wanted. We went around eight and got seated right away, looks like there is a wait if you go later in the morning. Cons: Very expensive for room service. Dinner food is okay, I had the burger and it had a smell to it so I ate the fries but husband and kid liked their grilled cheese and chicken sandwich. When told not to put pickle, tomato, etc on the burger still came with it. We also order the chocolate cake which tasted pretty good but upon inspection of the backside, it looked like they were white chocolate and regular chocolate shavings, except the white chocolate was no longer white, it was brittle and kind of tan. We would go again for the breakfast but would not order for dinner.

Having spent the last five days at the Hilton Chicago, I have to say that 720 South Bar and Grill could win an award for the least engaged staff. They apparently know how to avoid eye contact with customers at all costs. Orders, extras, checks. Whether it was for breakfast in the morning or drinks at night, it was like I wasn’t there. I swear I could have set myself on fire and still not gotten their attention. Epically poor service.

Ordinary food and ingredients with high price. Edible for convenience and desperation. BURGER — the only decent food to price selection. So so. Thick fries. Thick tomatoes. SERVICE — typical hotel restaurant… VERYSLOW.

Service was so-so then it got pretty bad — had to ask for the check and then ask for the credit card to be taken away. Food, overpriced, not bad, but not great. Had the spinach salad with Shrimp. Shrimp(3 or 4) were large and tasty. Dressing on salad a bit goopy and not very inspired. Did not even get bread with salad.

Stayed at the Hilton so it was convenient to go here, get food and drink. Ordered a skinny mojito and it was too sweet. Ordered Atlantic Salmon and it was OK, not too great. Being from the Pacific North West, I am spoiled with fresh and tasty seafood. While the salmon I ordered was cooked just right, there was not much flavor to it. The plate did come with different color carrots, that was good. I sat at the bar area and they gave free peanuts snacks mixed with wasabi peas, sesame sticks, rice cracker in a small vase and a very small little bowl. Each person had their own individual peanuts so no germs! That was a good snack while waiting for the entrée.

Since when is «grilled flatbreads pizza? Granted not Chicago style pizza, but still… Round with tomato sauce and cheese, cut into 8 slices. If it looks like a pizza and tastes like a pizza… it is. Horrible service from waitress. Bus boys and other staff were the ones that came around. Crabby waitress took order and never was seen again.

I recently dined at 720 South Bar and Grill during a conference at the Hilton. The modern/chic ambiance and slightly lofty price tags tricked me into expecting a worthwhile, if not safe, meal. The reality is that 720’s décor perfectly mirrors its fare: nicely-presented but wholly shallow. The steak I ordered, aside from being woefully over-cooked(nearly brown for a «medium» steak), was drenched in buttery, caramelized onions and a wedge of a buttery-cheese concoction. I realize that, on paper, this now sounds somewhat appetizing, but the actual dish tasted like the worst«Americanization» of steak frites possible. This is a dish that should rely largely on the subtle flavors of the beef, not saucy onions. Any buttery additions should be light and enhancing, not overblown and heavy. And then there were the«frites.» Calling them that is an utter disservice to Belgian cuisine. These were simply generic, fried potato wedges with no seasoning at all, save some requisite salt. Nothing more to say here. I also had the opportunity to try the«720 Burger,» which featured all sorts of meats combined together(beef, pork belly, short ribs, and so on). Again, the bun was too buttery, the meat heavy and well done(also ordered as «medium»), and the general effect was an «enticing on paper» dish rendered completely uninteresting to the taste buds. I cannot recommend 720 for anyone interested in anything more than a handy location and a lot of extra bills burning a hole in their pocket.

I was staying at the Hilton for a four-day conference and ate lunch twice at the lobby restaurant. The first visit I had the small caesar salad which was ok. It would have been nice if the description mentioned the anchovies as I am not a fan. My co-worker ordered the lobster roll and he said it was great. On my next visit, I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and it was pretty good — flavorful and the bleu cheese gave it a nice twist. The downside is the service was horrible both times — the servers all looked miserable and seemed to be bothered when it came to waiting on you. We had to ask for drink refills and they made it clear that it was an inconvenience. It is a hotel lobby restaurant so the food is a little overpriced — if they could just work on the service, it would be a huge improvement!

An ideal business lunch meeting place. Conveniently located right in the lobby, this restaurant is comfortable, has nice décor and a few tables. My dining partner has meetings here regularly and insisted we sit at a particular table with the armless style chair. Funny, but I could see his point. There are three seating types here. A bench, an arm chair and an armless chair. I learned the armless is the way to go because the others are too low or too high. Ha! My partner ordered the shrimp salad and I ordered the Garden chop salad with crisp greens, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, radish, sharp cheddar, honey-dijon vinaigrette large salad($ 12). On a hot day my salad made for the perfect lunch, and the large size was ideal for a meal. I was told the small is appetizer size. I left perfectly full. A bread basket was brought to the table ahead of time, and our coffee was actually very good. I’d definitely come back here for another meeting! Good to know.

This restaurant is located in the Lobby of the Hilton Hotel on Michigan Avenue. Ate here three times while in Chicago, its a safe place for a business meal or to drop by with the kids. I had the $ 40 rib eye and it was worth it, so was the lesser priced fillet Mignon. Both were perfect made even better by the fact that the company paid for it. All of the sides were very good, and, since its Chicago, the portions are enormous. They offer a super burger thing with egg and some sort of bacon and mounds of cheese and… well there’s a lot going on with that burger. It’s like it has attention deficit or something. Here’s the good part. After you eat you can waddle down the hall a few feet and they have a snug little corner where you can watch four TVs at once(The above mentioned burger would love this place) …is this a great country or what? Steak and TV… take that fancy french cuisine. ha!

You all know how I feel about a poached egg. In fact, I base whole reviews solely on the poached egg experience(sometimes). Well, let me tell you something about 720 South Bar and Grill. Wow. Just. Wow. We used to hit up Kitty O’Shea’s before heading to Bears games, but they stopped serving legit breakfast and only serve burgers and deep fried stuffs. We wanted eggs. And bloody Mary’s. So we made our way through the Hilton to this fine establishment. No crazy crowds. No waiting. Excellent service from Lisa, who served us delicious double bloody’s. :) I ordered the Eggs Benny. Oh. Mah. Gawd. These were the best bennies I’ve ever had. Instead of Canadian bacon, sliced ham. Instead of boring English muffin, savory bread pudding. Instead of a side of greasy potatoes, asparagus and oven dried tomato. Perfectly poached eggs(And I do mean PERFECTLY). A creamy Hollandaise sauce that completed the meal. My second mom, Kathy, ordered eggs with bacon, which looked beautiful and was LOADED with slices of delicious bacon joy and asparagus/dried tomato. Did I mention that the Bloody Mary’s rocked? Served with celery and a lime, they were spicy and delish. Yes, please.

Went here for breakfast with a buddy before a Bears game. It was a typical breakfast buffet, best feature was the Omelette station. Otherwise it was standard scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, french toast and some fruit. It got the job down and got us on to the game and a Chicago win but I wouldn’t hurry back.

The usual standard disclaimers apply to this review — if you happen to be staying in Chicago, and you are staying at the Chicago Hilton, the Blackstone, or the Essex Inn, and you like burgers, beer, and bourbon, you should consider the 720 for a dining and /or drinking option. Why? Because the burger here is freaking unbelievable. Order it medium rare, as it is a high quality, juicy steak cut, simply adorned with aged cheddar, and, as you see fit, lettuce, tomato, ketchup and mustard. You can get a fried egg too, but resist the urge to gild. I rarely finish a burger but I inhaled this one. Rarely is a $ 15 hotel burger worth it, but this is the exception. The fries are good, too, and the restaurant has some local beers on tap which I highly recommend, particularly the Metropolitan option. For cocktails, their rye manhattan is superb, made with«Rhode Island Rye», a brand with which I was not previously acquainted. She was silky smooth and spicy, but sadly is cooped up all day long, for the bar does not open until 5PM. And it is because of that late opening time that I give this place three stars only; after all, what is the point of staying in a downtown hotel if you cannot start your lunch with a hearty Manhattan? Don Draper would have a thing or two to say to Conrad about that!
