I have an old GE record player from the 70’s. It’s a large floor model. I called a few places and they were not willing to take a crack at it. It was working, but not well. It needed a tuneup and I had no idea in what capacity. I gave Accu-Tronix a call on a Saturday and he said to bring it down. By that Monday or Tuesday, I had heard back with an estimate which was very fair. When I came to pick it up, he had it set up and ready to show me the results. It sounds better than ever! I’m so grateful to have found this place that repaired my pride and joy so I didn’t have to throw it away!

Because I can’t give them no stars, they get one. I purchased a phone from them just 5 weeks ago. Of course the phone broke and they refuse to stand by the product they sell. They wanted to charge me $ 50 to fix a phone that I paid $ 200 already. I wouldn’t be surprised if this con artist sold me a damaged phone just so I would have to come back and pay even more for him to fix it. Do Not go to this«business». Safe yourself time, money and stress, go anywhere else.

Lesson learned… Always go to the mother company… do not mess with the underlings! I went here only because a friend said they were good. Had a bad experience. I wanted Tmobile’s «pay as you go» for $ 50/mo. Here’s what she did… Signed me up for a «prepaid» tmobile acct, entered my sprint info wrong so my # didn’t port over & charged me $ 20 to do it. After almost 3hrs of my # not porting I went to a real Tmobile store where they informed me that my info was added wrong and that I was overcharged and signed up for a prepaid acct rather than a pay as you go. They fixed what they could. I’m out $ 10 and will have to return in 30days to have my acct changed to «pay as you go». I went back to the store to let the female know what happened and she said«oh you must have wrote your acct # wrong». I said that Tmobile ported my # in 30seconds using the same info she read off my bill. In reference to prepaid vs pay as you go… she said, «no no, they lie… they are one and same» and«oh… they charge less??? they lie». Just a bad bad experience :(

I originally found this gem of an electronics store in the phone book, and I’ve been going back for years. Henry repairs electronics and sells used, well-priced, interesting electronics items. Henry is so knowledgeable about electronics, including old/vintage things such as my record player, receiver and speakers, which is what i had fixed last time I went there. He fixed the speaker and it works great now. The prices are very reasonable, and I’m grateful for being able to repair rather than chuck broken electronics! While there, I always learn a lot from him, the why’s of my broken electronics. I always like looking around at the items in there, and last time picked up a car cell-phone charger(for very cheap, haha Radio Shack!), and a travel alarm clock.
