I love their mangoneada! My craving hasn’t stopped since I first got one from this place. They pack it up too!

Im kind of person that cannot survive without icy stuffs, no matter it was snowing outside. Passing by the store million times but this time I got chance to give it a try. And to be honest, I found my spot to go from this experience. I chose Pecan Fruit Yogurt, which was super duper DELICIOUS. Fresh fruits and creamy yogurt, that made my day. I kept coming back for 3 days in a row just to try all the yogurt flavors. Large yogurt for around $ 6.50, it worths the money. You wont regret to try it. Also, the owner is amazing and friendly.

LOVE! Their mango sorbet is one of the best I’ve tried and the coconut is fantastic. The staff is friendly and will give a tasting of their flavors.

We have chócolaté, vanilla, strawberry… mango. I remember the good ol’ days living in Albany Park, where the Hispanic ice cream cart dude would rattle his bellified handle and entice us kids with creamy, delicious, hispanic ice cream and popsicles. If you never had one, you need to try one, because this stuff is definitely different from the typical ones you find in the grocery store. We went here on a whim as I had a craving for something sweet, and my amiga is Mexican. Is that racist? Anyways, she got the coffee popsicle, and I went with plain vanilla. The person behind the counter was super nice and the popsicles were as tasty as I remember them.

Great prices. Ice cream and mangonadas are very tasty. And good quality. The corn in a cup I can tell was from a can… Still ate it lol

Mangoneada, gaspacho, and frasas con crema… i wish there was someone who could make a decision for me so I wouldn’t have to struggle! We came across Alaska Paleteria y neveria, near Kimball and Irving Park, as hubby and I were heading northbound. I went with my default choice: a medium mangoneada. After a long walk around the Albany Park/Irving Park neighborhoods, a sweet-sour mangoneada was just what the doctor ordered. By the way, the chili straw was included in the medium order($ 5.25, as of 09÷09÷15) There are other antojitos and a plenty of ice cream flavors. They do accept credit cards yet unsure if there was a minimum purchase.

This place is a wonderful alternative to whatever big-chain ice cream shop you get your fix. They’ve got all the traditional ice cream flavors and cones, paletas with real fruit, as well as some more unique and yummy concoctions. My husband and I couldn’t make up our mind when we visited so we ended up ordering four different things to try — which was worth it, because the prices are sooo reasonable! The mangoneada was my favorite, yummy mango sorbet with fresh mango and chili! We also tried the avocado ice cream, the frozen chocolate banana, and the frappucino, which was on par with the one you can get at McDonalds, Dunkin Donuts, or even Starbucks — but for half the price!

Rum raisin, pecan, sweet cream, caramel cone — they’re all delicious! The scoops are big, and the ice cream is incredible. The owners were really nice too. Great place!

They’re open! I guess I was just being an ice cream hog during the winter months and just expected all ice cream shops to be open :) the young lady was so nice and let us try all the cool different flavors, which honestly, sounded crazy but really were delicious! We also had the famous MANGONADA… Sooooo yummy! We live right down the street so we will DEFINITELY be frequent customers now that the weather is warming up.

This Ice Cream Shop is just awesome. you get so many exotic flavors… and all of them are just phenomenal. unlike other commercialized ice cream places, the ice cream is home made… the prices are fair and nothing to outrageous… Plus the woman that owns the business is a super sweet and friendly lady… You will have a great variety between water based ice cream and milk based ice cream flavors… Plus you will be supporting a local small business over those big greedy corporative owned ice cream establishments.

Living near an ice cream shop and being on a diet is the worst thing ever. It’s the ultimate test of willpower everyday I pass by this place. Once in a while though(such as last week) I crack down and go here to buy delicious ice cream. Coconut, mint chocolate chip, and pistachio are amazing and so is… THEHOLYGRAILNUTELLAICECREAM. Yes, yes I did say NUTELLAICECREAM… need I say more?

My fave paleteria!!! I looove their mangonadas and NUTELLA ice cream, yes that’s right, I said Nutella! It’s not too sweet or bitter tasting chocolate, it’s just right! I love stocking up on their fresh paletas such as mango con chile, limon, tamarindo, coconut, and arroz… the staff is super friendly so that’s always a plus!

Must get the Mangoneada. Made from a mango sorbet base and piled with fresh mangoes separated by layers of sweet and tangy chamoy sauce. Wonderful dairy-free frozen treat. For those that can eat dairy there are several adventurous homemade ice cream flavors such as, avocado, corn, cheese, cajeta(goat milk caramel) and chocolate covered cherry cake! Many items are listed in Spanish but the staff will be happy to translate.

I wasn’t expecting much if anything when I stopped by here, but HEY, Ice Cream. Good stuff. Nutella flavor? Heck yeah. Inexpensive, too. Worth a visit.

They have nutella ice cream… And a ton of other fun flavors. I hope that this little neighborhood joint can survive. This stretch of Irving Park is not the nicest, and I’d love for this place to stick around. Support your local businesses!
