No no no. I got a ginger peach iced tea and the flavors were overwhelmingly ginger. There was some peach flavor, but I had to three sweeteners to make the drink close to drinkable. And for almost $ 5.00 for a medium size? Not a fan of this place, sorry.

I’d give this location 30 stars if i could. Incredibly friendly staff that greets me but name every morning and knows my order without me even having to ask for it. Just amazing service. Great way to start every day. Why people wait in long lines at the Starbucks next door instead of getting something better at Argo is beyond me.

I tried to redeem the free small red tea for checking in on Unilocal and they didn’t give it to me because the date states something different than today but yet it said to redeem it right now? :-(oh well

It’s time for me to break up with Argo Tea. I have been going to various Argo locations for four-five years now and I feel the product had deteriorated significantly. The drinks have just been awful over the last year, but have been worse than awful lately. My last ~10 drinks have been pretty bad from this location and I can no longer justify forking over nearly $ 5 for a bad soy mate late. This location and the Franklin location are the worst offenders when it comes to inconsistency, or consistently awful drinks. Time to make a change Argo.

I go here a lot to get the Garden Lentil Salad«tea-pot». I just got back to my desk from doing that, and was eating my salad, and saw that there was a hair mixed into it. Definitely going to be awhile before I head back… ick.

I love the Argo Tea at the Merchandise Mart. In the morning rush hour, this place has the shortest line. The pumpkin chai is the best drink. Wish they would get their app payment to work though. I used it once and apparently made their screen freeze, so they said they cancelled the order and I paid again but found out later I got charged for both.

My new obsession. When it’s chilly outside, hot tea is exactly what I need. They have tons of different hot and cold teas and pretty good desserts. What I tried: Red Velvet Tea Latte: SOOOOOGOOOD! A mix of chocolate and raspberry. It.Was.DELICIOUS. So good. I wish I got a large. Chocolate Macaron: Pretty good. nothing super special Ginger Peach tea: My coworker got this and had good things to say. We are all getting a little sick so she got this to soothe her throat and it did the trick. Fair warning — very gingery! Overall, loved this place! If you can’t find it, it’s right next to Starbucks.

I’ve been to a lot of Argos around Chicago and most of the time I get a soy Earl Grey Vanilla Crème. I got one here about a month ago and it was absolutely delicious. I told the barista it was amazing and she laughed and told me she didn’t do anything different. Well. I went to the Argo on Dearborn in the loop a few days ago and ordered the same thing. It tasted so watered down I didn’t even finish it. So instead of leaving them a negative review, I figured I would leave a positive review here and say that whatever you’re doing over there is awesome!

I needed something to hold me over until I went home and cooked dinner. I got a couple empanadas but the oven was broken so they put the empanadas in another oven. As I was heading out to catch the train, I took a small bite of the empanada and it was still cold on the inside. I immediately headed back to Argo. One of the employees suggested that they put it back in the oven. Now, I used to work at Starbucks and while I appreciated their effort to warm up the pastry again, I thought it was a bit odd that they would take a pastry that was already in my mouth and put it in the oven. I didn’t think that was the most sanitary decision nor does it comply with food and safety protocols. I would have liked it if they have me another one but I was so disappointed with my pastries that I just decided to get a refund. I hope that my next visit won’t be as complicated.

Really convenient location, and great tea. I come here when I have one thing on my mind: the Maté Latte. Is this actually tea? Who knows. Haters gonna hate. But it’s cold, and it’s creamy, and it’s awesome with the bubbles. Which are actually cubes, but at least they’re soft and fit in the straw. And it tricks me into thinking I’ve had caffeine, when I may or may not have actually done so. Throw in the fact that every time I’ve been here the servers have been really nice, and I don’t have anything to complain about. If you’re stuck not knowing what you want to get, just ask them. They’ll be authentically happy to tell you.

This isn’t my typical review, but it was a really cool experience which is definitely worth reviewing! Who doesn’t love a good cup of tea? Location & Ambiance: Busy due to the location it has in the mall, but it still manages to have a very cool ambiance due to the multiple monitors where the menu is featured. Check out the pictures I took to really understand the experience! Tea: The tea I got(Vanilla flavor with skim milk) was good, but nothing crazy delicious. I wont let this change my review, because I don’t really have a point of comparison. Its kind of like a coffee shop, but instead of coffee they have tea… lots of choices of tea! If your new to this kind of experience, like myself, I recommend you ask the staff for drink recommendations. Staff: The staff was nice, and left me satisfied! They were quick to help me make decisions on what kind of tea to try. Staff really makes it a great experience. Overall, I would definitely recommend giving it a try. I cant say its a 5 of 5 star experience, because my drink was ok but nothing to write home about.

Argo Tea, please come to California! Specifically, the bay area. I would sip on your tea everyday! The employees here were so friendly and helpful… and of course, patient! My friend and I came here trying a variety of tea and they weren’t annoyed one bit! We ended up buying 3 bottles of tea for $ 30. Hilarious, I got pulled aside from the TSA, thinking I had huge bottles of liquid. If you’re in a hibiscus-y tarty fruity mood, I recommend the sangria tea… so good. And they add some pieces of fruit in there! Yum! I also recommend the chai tea to bring back home. It’s something pleasant and rejuvenating to sip on early in the morning. It’s not as spicy as other teas I have had but it has a good amount of caffeine in it. I’m iffy about the green tea with ginger twist bottle I got though — it’s a little too lemony for me. Also, the food here is surprisingly delicious! Way better than Starbucks food. The curry quinoa salad was amazing. Get it as a side with your sandwich and tea and it’s a perfect meal! Affordable, too.

Argo Tea taught me not to rely so heavily on my first impression! My first experience was lacking but my next two times were up to the standard set by other Argos: I got my standard [delicious] tea drinks and warm customer service. Maybe that first time was a fluke because it hasn’t been like that again since! Good job Argo Tea!

This is the closest location to my work, and luckily, it boasts the friendliest staff. Apart from that, there aren’t many distinguishing features. Just a typical Argo. I’m a fan of the signature drinks — mainly the milky ones, but the green tea ginger packs a pretty hefty flavour punch, which is perfect for brightening those last few hours of the work day.

I’m more of a coffee kinda gal, but if a place has«tea» in its name, you bet your sweet toosh I’m ordering up a cup of hot leaves. It was a chilly, snowy day in Chicago when we visited and the hot tea was a much-needed respite from the cold. I opted for the Carolina honey(black tea with bits of lemon and notes of honey); pops, never straying from what he knows he likes, got the earl grey crème(black tea with bergamot and vanilla); and mum, always the one to venture out and try new things, opted for the Armenian mint. We were all quite pleased with our selections and glad we could defrost a bit in the store before heading out into the cold. Excellent selection, excellent service.

Like Starbucks but for tea drinkers, Argo has every kind of hot, iced, chai drink you might ever desire. But — the baristas are snotty here! There’s about four of them in the place, but zero actually working. Once I got my drink, all was forgotten as my iced tea was really, really yummy.

I really wish they had an Argo’s in Houston. Not all of their drinks are great, but I enjoyed trying their variety. Here are some that I remember: «Earl Gray Vanilla Crème with Soy Milk» — good… had a little bit of a spice aftertaste that I didn’t care for much. «Mate Late w/Soy» — Good. Not Great. But good. «Coconut Bubble Tea» — This has a very bold, strong taste. The boba is more like jelly caramel, which was very sweet. Let the ice melt to help make the sweetness tolerable.

Love Argo! The barista at the time I went was vegan too, so we had a little chat about the muffins and the fun drinks. There are so many options, and she convinced me to get something chocolaty instead of my usual red velvet with soy. Didn’t steer me wrong. Yum.

I guess Argo Tea has been reading my pleas for an Argo Tea in my neighborhood because they just opened one in the Merchandise Mart… not too far from where I live, work, and play. It’s much smaller than the other Argo Teas and there isn’t much space to set up shop, but I’m thrilled my favorite gingerbread chai is now just a few blocks away. Speaking of which, I think I’m going to get one right now!
