Arsova Salon

Came with a Gilt City Voucher for hair color. The service was booked with Monika. I came with the idea of covering my white hair and adding some natural-​look color to my black hair. But she did a bright orange tone color. It was worse under natural light and when I carefully saw it at home. Also, when she was doing the color on my hair, the brush touched my forehead. That area was red and itchy once I was back home.

Cannot recommend this salon more. I am an actor and had to dye my hair platinum blonde for a show. I was scared because once when younger I attempted this and it burnt my scalp. Well, Reaganne and the entire staff, were AWESOME! Reaganne dyed and cut my hair and eyebrows. No pain — plus it looked awesome. Already booked my appointment for follow up.

Arsova Salon is THE BEST salon in the city. I had such a terrible experience at another salon where a lady did my hair and made my hair completely fall out!!! Im not saying few strands here and there Im talking about chunks of my hair falling out! I was terrified! I already had blonde hair and wanted a few lowlights and retouch up my roots. All of a sudden my hair started falling out in the process. She had no clue what she was doing. Anita gave me a few options on what we could do that was best for my hair. She truly cares about the health of your hair! I have never met someone as professional and caring as Anita and her staff. For two months I wore a hat because I was ashamed to walk out like this in public. She SAVED my hair and not only that but she made my hair a lot healthier!!!

I went for a blowout and it was AMAZING! My stylist gave me a head massage and even went the extra mile to help me put in my extensions for the event I was going to that night. I’m really impressed by their customer service and I highly recommend this salon to anyone.

I have to say that Anita is truly amazing! She is a really gifted artist, incredibly kind and knew exactly what would work for my hair. It looks so natural! I need to drive nearly 4 hours to her salon and it is totally worth it ;-) I found her as I asked a woman with stunning beautiful hair who her hair stylist was and she told me that she goes to Anita. I am so happy I asked her!

Anita is amazing! She knew exactly what would work for my hair. It looks SO good. I get compliments everywhere I go! I’ve gone to her a lot this past year, and every time I go we do something a little different. I love her creativity and knowledge of what the trends are. And she executes beautifully. Highly recommend her. And she is the sweetest girl ever on top of being so good at her job. 5 stars all the way

I have always had trouble trusting people with my hair; a few years back I walked out of a Floyds salon in MA, with poorly done highlights and an uneven trim. Ever since then I had a fear of it happening again. I have thick, curry hair and if the hair stylist doesn’t know what he or she is doing, it could result in a recipe for disaster.
Over two years ago I was introduced to Reaganne. When I had a consultation, instantaneously, she made me feel at ease and I will be in good hands. She has never let me down! She has always done an amazing job From highlights, to lowlights, to just the average trim. I have always been encredibly esthetic with the results. I highly recomend Reaganne!

I was impressed, by the professionalism and how great of a haircut I got. I didn’t have a specific idea what I wanted, no idea at all, and left happy with a good looking haircut.

I haven’t been to a salon in years because I can’t ever walk out feeling like I got what I wanted. I had been researching salons in the area for a few weeks and came across Arsova on Guilt City. It seemed like a sweet deal and a great way to test the salon out so I made the purchase. They were pretty booked up when I called to make an appointment but I booked one 2 weeks out. My hairstylist was Jen and from the minute I met her I felt Completely comfortable. She was awesome and listened to what I was looking for and genuinely had a conversation with me about my hair and how close she was going to try and get me to the style I wanted. She’s super professional and very talented. In no time she hooked me up with a balyage color of carmel, honey and brown and a nice layered cut. I would def recommend checking this place out. I had my first haircut in States with Noël. I was worried when I saw a male hair stylist appointment (because I am afraid that I can not express perfectly how I want my hair done) but my experience turned out to be fabulous !! Noël has years of experience.
He listened to my expectation very carefully and also gave me a lot of time to decide the length I want to cut my hair. No rush at all. He was so friendly and I feel like a VIP. If I can give six stars to Noël and Arsova, I will. Thanks for making my day !

Anita is the absolute best! She is so sweet and fantastic at what she does. I have been going to Arsova Salon for about a year and a half now, and every time I go I am thrilled with the results.
At first I was nervous to try a new salon, but I am so happy that I found this salon. Anita colors and cuts my hair, and she does my highlights perfectly every time! Unlike some other salons I have been to, Anita actually listens to me. At other salons, when I have asked for just a tiny trim, they take off way too much, but this has never happened to me at Arsova. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would!

Arsova Salon is the perfect mix of chic and style. Paired with a Midwest friendly staff, it is the best salon! I always feel welcome and more impotently they do an imperative job. Anita makes everything she does perfection! She also makes sure the stylists that work there do the same. Arsova salon is the place to go if you want the current and upcoming trends. They are always ahead of the game! 5 stars all the way!!!

Anita is brilliant. The best colorist I’ve ever been to. I got my hair colored (bayalage) by her 6 months ago and it still looks like I just stepped out of the salon every single day. People keep complementing me! I only got a root touch up about 2 months ago. I really don’t use anything special to wash or treat my hair other than whatever shampoo and conditioner I happen to have. I’m including a photo of what my hair looks like today, 6 months after the color.

The short: Always great cuts by Anita, the owner, at a salon with the best customer service and experience I’ve ever had at a salon or barbershop. I am a guy with a very difficult coarse hair– Do yourself a favor and give this place a shot if you’re a guy. I’m so glad I did.
Everyone on staff is extremely courteous, professional, friendly, and I always feel well looked after.
When I went somewhere else first after recently moving to a different area in Chicago, a girlfriend asked me to turn around to inspect the cut, then gave me an «ehh, it’s good» (with raised voice to indicate she’s hiding something). When I left Arsova Salon, she just smiled and said «you look great!» I found my new spot!

There is another factor besides what the end result of my hair looks like that I look for in a salon; hospitality & customer service. When you walk into the Arsova, you immediately feel welcomed and important. I got my hair done by the fabulous Anita. She was so easy to talk to, as she listened very well to what I wanted while I also showed her pictures of said looks. She was more attentive than any other stylist I’ve been too.
She also added her input, which I always appreciate! I had plans to donate 10 inches to Locks of Love from this hair cut… I actually ended up donating 14 inches. I never thought I’d be rockin’ a lob, a long bob, in my 20’s, but I absolutely love it! I am so glad I took a chance on short hair for the sake of the children who need it, but I am also very glad I took a chance on Anita.
I will definitely be coming back soon, especially to update my balayage and to keep my long bob looking fabulous. I typically from one salon to the next, because I have never found a stylist’s work or a salon’s customer service/​atmosphere that have met my expectations. Anita and her lovely trainee definitely exceeded any expectations I had this past Thursday.
