Came here for an estimate on photo framing. Did not choose them this time but they where fantastic. John was very helpful. Did not feel forced to decide now. I will go back in the future for sure. Thank you John and Nancy.

The quality is great, a little bit on the pricier side, but I’ve always experienced great customer service.

Excellent work — would never question quality. Definitely on the high end of pricing, but if you have an important piece to frame, I wouldn’t question using this shop.

This was about the speediest framing job ever, and the materials and workmanship are top notch. I also enjoyed reviewing the many excellent paintings by the resident artist.

Bought a Unilocal deal for this place last year. I had a watercolor I’d bought in Paris that I wanted to get framed. Art De Triumph did an excellent job! The woman who helped me showed me several options for frames and mats, while keeping my budget in mind. I love how the picture turned out and plan to come back here in the future.

I had had this piece of art forever, made for me by a close friend. Honestly, I never thought it was all that nice, but when I needed art for my new place, I thought«why not frame it? It’s a free piece of art!» I went with the first suggestion she gave me for a double frame to complement the two major color themes even though she offered me some less expensive options because nothing really looked as nice and I’m glad I did. I was totally stunned when I saw the finished product. The old air brush picture turned into a stunning beautiful piece of art. It looks absolutely gorgeous in my living room and was extremely meaningful t o my friend. I won’t go anywhere else for framing!

Nancy is always patient and has many fine suggestions for frames. I’ve had everything from an oil painting to an envelope doodle framed here with good results. Highly recommend.

Love this place — had to get two picture frames for Ring Bearers in our wedding and they were super helpful. The person helping me out was full of suggestions and they were really easy to work with. Felt great about the value for what we ordered! Will definitely come back to this studio for more framing work in the future!!!

I’m not sure how to rate this place as they went MIA on me. Technology or something appears to be an issue. I had several photographs that I wanted photoshopped and then printed on glossy archival paper to frame. I’m building a collage wall and I was willing to invest in this project. I walked in one day and talked to Nancie about my project. Her husband Ron would be able to help so I took his card and emailed him a few days later and got no response. I went by the store a week later and left a written message about getting in touch with me. I heard from Ron about 2 days later and he said he could help. I sent him a file(it took 2 tries because although I responded with the file to an earlier email he sent me, he never received it for some reason) and he sent it back to me after playing with the saturation in photoshop. He then said he could make me an 8×10 print to pick up later that week. When I picked up the print, it was clear I was disappointed. For starters, it wasn’t on photographic glossy paper like I wanted but like a high-grade dot matrix print out. Also, for the photoshop work I was charged $ 15 and then $ 19 for the print. What?! I mentioned my disappointment about the print out and for free, Ron printed it out again but on glossy paper. I also asked him to send me a copy of the enhanced file, because after all I paid for that work. I went by the shop again and saw the glossy version but still it wasn’t photograph quality as I wanted and explained in email. Perhaps there’s miscommunication but it still wasn’t what I wanted. I asked him again to send me the enhanced file and gave him 2 email addresses which would allow a file of that size. The first email I sent him was never received and I mentioned it on the phone and then emailed him again and that was the end of it. Never heard from him again. Not sure if there’s technology issues or what, but I shouldn’t have to track someone down for their business. Not only that, but I discovered that Shutterly would do saturation editing on 8×10 and print on the glossy photo prints(which is what I wanted) for $ 4 including shipping. Boy do I feel like a sucker. So far I’m happy with what I’ve received from Shutterfly and I will use another shop for framing.

I took A poster in to be framed and I paid a lot more than I had anticipated but I accepted this because I was excited about preserving the poster and getting it on my wall. When I got it back and hung it up all I saw when I looked at it was the waves and wrinkles created during the framing process(The poster was in a tube since purchase and had never been damaged). I brought it back and told them that the only thing I saw when I looked at it were the unappealing waves and problems with the poster. It should have never left the store in this condition(Very unprofessional). They said that it needed to be «Dry Framed» and that they could fix it… Why didn’t they do this in the first place? I get a call the next week saying that it is going to cost more money to fix it and I argued with them because it was them who framed it in the first place and was forced to pay additional funds to get back my poster back in the condition I had paid for getting it in the first place. I still have not gotten the poster back and expect it to be PERFECT when I get it back… I will always tell the story of how this place sucks when I show people the picture and tell them not to go here.

Knowledgable, prompt service at a good price(especially with a Unilocal deal). :) I would return.

Super friendly and helpful. I had a painting from Hong Kong that i needed to frame. Having no idea about framing, I walked in here. Nancy and her associate were so helpful in educating me about frames and the right shades that would go with the oil painting. I will definitely go back here for any of my framing needs. They have a fantastic collection of prints as well.

I had two prints framed here and it ran around $ 450 which is the same I’d pay at Michaels only the advice I got here was much better. They have a huge selection of frames and they really understand what makes a picture pop. I was pleased. Not a bargain place(if those even exist), but perfect for a special piece.

Boyfriend’s father has done some truly remarkable work for charity. When it was printed in the paper, I knew we had to get it properly saved… And not by hoarding a sad, tattered and yellowing clipping at the bottom of a random drawer… We needed a frame! Bonus with your buy, a massive tote! The logo makes me smile and seriously, I use it every weekend… Perfect for all the bulky Target buys, love it! Thank you!

My husband and I came into Art De Triumph with a groupon and a canvas painting we had picked up in Zanzibar that we hadn’t framed yet. Marcy was very knowledgeable about framing and explained our options in terms of either stretching the canvas or dry mounting it. She was such a big help in finding the right frame to go with the painting. She pulled out numerous styles that spanned different price ranges to make sure we could find something that we were really happy with and could afford. She also encouraged us to look through the huge selection of frames they had in case we saw something we liked that she hadn’t brought out. Nancie was also around and gave her input. It was nice having multiple opinions. When we got the painting back we were thrilled. It looked even better than we had imagined. They did a great job, and were a real pleasure to work with.

Nancie King Mertz is one of the lesser known jewels in our city. Her artistic skills are exceptional, and her warm, caring personality is genuinely sincere. Get on her mailing list because she hosts complimentary parties throughout the year in the courtyard behind her gallery which are catered by local restaurants and wine purveyers. It is a great opportunity to spend a summer evening while viewing excellently artwork and socializing with old friends and new. Her husband Ron reproduces many of her more popular pieces in his giclee technique which looks as authentic as the original at a fraction of the cost. Having a well decorated home needn’t be expensive.

They have an awesome selection of greeting cards which are mini replica’s of the owner’s larger paintings. They make for a nice and affordable piece of art.

For several years after college, I managed a store that sold posters and art and did custom framing(art history degree — what else could I do). Over the years, I learned how to do all kinds of conservation framing. I am extremely picky about my framing and won’t trust my things to just anyone. I went in here and had a great conversation with Nancie about my past experiences with framing. I also brought in two CD booklets autographed by Blossom Dearie and a photo of me with the singer for framing. I had an idea of what I wanted and she helped me to achieve that. I must have had her pull out a hundered different mats and then asked for her to have an extremely small margin around the edges of each mat opening because I wanted to get as much of the autograph in view as possible. It was a relatively complex job for something that was not a shadow box and did not require sewing. Nancie had a great knowledge of framing techniques, a lot of patience with me, and a really thorough selection of frames and mats. I was super happy with the piece when I picked it up(I will try to post a photo later). Her artwork is not really my style but I can see why people like it and she has an obvious love for this great city of ours. I have not purchased any of her pieces, so my review is specifically of her framing services. Take it from me — a real stickler when it comes to framing — she knows what she is doing and does a great job. It was not inexpensive but this is one of those retail areas where you really get what you pay for. Especially if you are framing something vaulable or irreplaceable.

I visited Art De Triumph for a custom framing service and Nancy and Marcy are wonderful – very helpful and patient with you while you make a decision. The art turned out beautifully and I even received a thank you note in the mail. They are a premium priced service, but very worth it!

Even if you are too broke to buy art, you have to buy cards. And Nancie has many of her fantastic paintings in note card size. Italian weddings, Chicago skyline, Montrose Harbor, a bar in Madrid — Nancie has traveled the world, and you should take advantage of it.
