I have to agree with Lindley, I love the Lunchbox. I’m not a raw foodist but I AM a huge fan of raw dairy, and I make my own cheese, which makes raw necessary. If you are a fan of butter, there is none better. and where the heck else could you even find sheep’s milk. Also, anyone who understands food science should have a VERY difficult time with non grass fed meat or dairy. Read Michael Pollan for more in that topic.

Psssst. I want to share a secret with you. I want to share a secret that you’ll have to swear to never tell anyone except other real food-loving friends and family who value all-natural, unprocessed, farm-raised foods that you can’t find anywhere else in Chicagoland. I present, for your approval, Belle’s Lunchbox. For a mere $ 25 dollars, you too can become a sovereign-member and buy a share of grass-grazing cows, goats, sheep and chickens. Not quite literally. What your $ 25 dollars and membership gets you is the ability to access the Belle’s Lunchbox website, which offers a range of products from fastidiously prepared ceviches to hand-churned butter to grass fed meats to the real jewel of Belle’s Lunchbox, unprocessed dairy. In season, they offer pure, unprocessed cow’s milk, sheep’s milk and goat’s milk in recyclable glass containers. There are pick-up locations throughout Chicagoland, referred to as ‘stores’ but actually different club members’ homes. Pick up can be a little tricky, as hours are extremely limited and can conflict with many schedules. Before joining, you’ll want to make sure you can actually pick up the products at the available times. Happiness.
