Go to the actual Lillie’s Q location in Wicker Park. The meat and bread are fresher, the sauces are plentiful, and they have other sides besides baked beans and cole slaw. The pulled pork I got was a little dry and they only give you one small container of sauce, and the cole slaw definitely needed a lot more sweet, salty and tangy. The bread was also a little hard. For $ 10, I was a little disappointed. I would say this is not a good representation of the quality of food you would get at the restaurant. If you do decide to have lunch from this truck, bring cash, they don’t accept cc’s.

not very good. got the chicken sandwich and coleslaw. for 10 bucks they could do better. personally, i like my coleslaw a little bit sweeter. you have to make the sandwich yourself, the bun comes wrapped in plastic, the chicken in a plastic container and the sauce on the side. the sauce was good though.

I agree with a previous reviewer that $ 10 is a little pricey for what you get. Actually, I’d be happier if I could get the sandwich a la carte for say $ 7 and do away with the side. That said, the pork is delicious, just like in the restaurant. The bun was good, but yummier in-restaurant where it is served toasted. I understand logistics of this probably don’t work with a food truck, but perhaps the buns could be kept in a warmer to more closely recreate the sandwich served in the restaurant. I’m sure I’ll be back, though, because it really is delish even without the toasted bun. Yum yum.

Food trucks are popping up in Chicago like crazy recently… really makes you think what’s going to happen when the cold weather hits. Decided to hit up this new truck when it was pouring freezing rain out. Not much of a line and close to the office. My main issue: the price. For $ 10 you get a sandwich(pork or chicken), one side(beans or slaw) and some sauce. Definitely on the more expensive side for a loop lunch; not something I could do every day. However, I do think I’ll be back because the food was great and not something you usually find in the loop, and you get a good amount of it. The beans had a nice spiciness to it, and their barbecue sauces were sweet(though their«spicy» sauce wasn’t so spicy). The pork I got was super tender and juicy. Several of the Chicago food trucks I’ve been to have been lackluster, but this isn’t one of them.
