I love this place. Truly believe it’s the best lunch Ceasar Salad in the city. Also recommend the paninis and wraps.

Only reason I gave this place three stars is the friendly faces in the morning who get my morning bagel ready. Other than that… Baci gives me a negative vibe as I associate it as my ‘quick to-go meal when work is busy’. Their food is pretty pricey and not the best of quality. The croutons on their Caesar salad deserve a star though. Overall, it’s just kinda eh. Heard that coffee is a dollar in the afternoon though!

Food is very good. Yes it is a bit pricey especially if you get a drink along with your food, but the food is served in porcelain plates and real silverware. They could lower their price a bit. Pizzas used to be around $ 8, now they cost $ 11 after tax. but they’re super tasty. For those who want gluten-free, they have a gluten free pizza which costs the same. That indeed, is a great deal…

This place couldn’t get any worse. The food is TERRIBLE and ridiculously overpriced. I kid you not you could make a better sandwich in a port-o-potty on a 95 degree summer day with ingredients from the nearest ALDI dumpster. Save your money and your dignity and let your stomach feed on itself before stepping foot in this pathetic excuse for a charity.

I enjoyed eating here for lunch, while a little pricy the sandwiches are good and the service was quick. No complainants here despite the other bad reviews. Give it a try if your in the area.

I don’t know how they managed to make the the driest chicken ever, but they most certainly did. The rosemary chicken sandwich is a black hole of moisture.

The food is good, but WOW is it it overpriced. Just picked up a Sonoma wrap(basically a grilled chicken wrap with avocado), and the darn thing cost me $ 9.50(with tax)! Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

A lot of bad reviews and no wonder. Walked by yesterday at 6:40 a.m. yesterday and was surprised to see a breakfast menu. I also noticed a sullen staff member inside and a customer who was clearly turned off; however, I decided to give breakfast a try the next morning. Should have known better. Informed breakfast didn’t start until 7:00 a.m. and it was suggested I come later if I didn’t want to wait around. Obviously this breakfast initiative isn’t very popular with the staff.

The food is great… the service is HORRIBLE. The employees here only really care about having a good time with one another than paying attention to the customer. They have full on conversations with each other laughing and cracking jokes. meanwhile they just rush to get you out of their way. This causes your order to be wrong most of the time. I really wish they had better management because the quality of the food is great. Also it says that it closes at 4… dont go in after 3:30 because they have usually already removed the food and you will get a stare down on why you are in there 30 minutes before they close.

Oh no you didn’t, Baci. I used to frequent Baci for their trio salad. Every time I get the tomato salad, tuna, and either the quinoa or seven grain. Adventure seeker over here. When they ask if I want a dinner roll, I decline. Every. Single. Time. The other day, it was kind of sh*t show in there, and after haphazardly throwing my three salad scoops in a to go bowl, without asking, the gentleman threw in a roll. If it’s there, I’ll eat it which is why I opt out of the whole roll ordeal to begin with. I attempted to ask him to remove the roll before he closed my bowl, but he didn’t hear me. Nbd. My plan was to just throw it out, And maybe pour my soda on it so I wouldn’t pick it back up. What? Well, he happened to plop my roll right down into my quinoa salad, so when I lifted it up to throw it away, along came the majority of my salad. What remained was about five bites. I would have let it slide, but a trio salad and small soda runs me over $ 10 which is already pretty ridiculous so I walked back to the salad area and asked politely if they would mind throwing a bit more quinoa salad in. I explained that I didn’t ask for the roll, and when I threw it out, the majority of my salad was stuck to it. The man who helped me was immediately aggravated, looking at me in complete horror. «I asked you if you wanted bread! I’m going to have to see if this is okay.» I have one major pet peeve when it comes to the service industry — never embarrass your customers, or try to tell them what they ordered. I understand the the customer is always right theory is only true within reason, but in my opinion this request wasn’t life threatening, or time consuming. And I certainly didn’t feel it required making a scene — i.e. grabbing someone else to get a second opinion. Reluctantly, the gentleman finally agreed to feed me and dramatically scooped up exactly one scoop of quinoa salad and practically tossed my bowl at me. Nearby customers were mean mugging me, totally placing blame on the wrong person, in my opinion. I think I’m going to have to Tango Sur this location. I use Tango Sur as a verb these days. It’s synonymous with ban, never go back, start on fire.(read my review of them… I dare ya)

WARNING. I ate here last Fri. and had Chicken Piccata with vegetables and spicy noodles. That night I got very sick vomiting and had diarrhea. It was horrible and I was in bed most of the weekend. A couple years ago I had a similar experience at the Café Baci on Michigan Ave after having chicken salad. I told myself I wouldn’t eat there again but I started up again eating mostly pasta w/marinara. After this experience I’m not eating there again. Fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me.

I work in the building where this is located. I have heard many negative reviews but one morning the line at McDonals was long so I go oatmeal from this place. The price they charged me for plain oatmeal was 4.50! I have heard from everyone that this place is over priced but now I know Iwill never go back to this place again.

I go to the BACH a lot. It’s really close to my work, and I am really lazy. I think if you just stick to the baked pasta specials you’ll be alright. These are always good, although they aren’t always vegetarian. When they’re not vegetarian then I get really sad and end up ordering something else. Every time I’ve order something else I have just been underwhelmed. It’s not that I am necessarily disappointed, it’s just that it’s never been very good. So, if you have the opportunity, come here, and have the baked pastas. You’ll probably be satisfied. If not, eh, don’t care, random internet person.

This review is for the coffee/espresso section in the morning… when Tony makes your drink it’s 5 stars, and will take the pepsi challenge with any of the fancy coffee shops in the city, when the young ladies behind the counter make your coffee, you might as well go drink sewer water. Lately I have had a bad string of luck and am no longer going here in the morning.
