Ordered chicken burrito and steak taco. Overall the foods are delicious. However there was one case when my wife found too much salt in her chicken burrito. They were not too apologetic with the situation and reluctantly prepared a new one. The menu is expensive in relation with the portion size.

So I ordered a fajita burrito because I’ve heard many good things, $ 13.50 for a burrito and a tiny cup of rice and beans? Way too expensive for a quick little spot. But whatever, I’ve heard good things so it doesn’t bother me too much. Man. This steak was extremely good, whatever They marinade it in mixed with the grill taste, I loved it. I was extremely full as well. Also got flour tortilla chips and guacamole, the guacamole was really good, the flour chips were different, I enjoyed them but I prefer a salty corn tortilla chip, the mild and hot sauces on the table were really good as well, overall I’d recommend this place, the price is up there but it’s worth it every now and then.

Food is very good, so is service! I had the steak tacos and I also had fish tacos. Both were very good, but In my opinion the prices are just a little high, but what can I say quality comes with a price! Also has a very nice atmosphere!

Went on Cinco De Mayo, it was slammed. My burrito salad bowl took 20 mins. It was probably worth the wait because it was bursting with flavor. I didn’t feel so hot afterwards but I’m willing to sacrifice. I will be back because I work about a ten minute walk away, it’s cheap and authentic and has character. I also enjoy taco places that don’t try to overdo it and favor the simplicity of onions and cilantro while the meat’s seasoning does the talking.

I’ve always seen this place and passed by it but never bothered to go in for food until now…
To start off the location is very small, inside contain about 7ish table that can sit between 2 – 4 max and people standing in line would just be cramped along with them if there’s alot of people.
The service was fine they wait patiently while we order, but staring at the food made me so hungry.
Upon ordering I had a steak burrito and fish taco. Mm maybe it was cause it was super hyped up before I had but it tasted very typical burrito and taco to me nothing really that special.

Carbon never disappoints. Their tequila lime sauce is literally my life and I pour it on to everything!
They probably serve the best tacos I’ve ever had. But O.M.G try their ‘Stelote’. ITS A STEAK BURRITO /​ELOTE hybrid! I mean WHAT. What genius!
Also goes without saying this place serves Elotés which are usually difficult to find outside of street carts.

We really wanted to like this place because it’s so close to where we live, but it was a bit of a disappointment.
I ordered a burrito with fish and the fish was extremely fishy, I ended up not being able to eat it. I had also ordered chips and salsa that was over-​priced. The chips were so greasy it soaked up the bag they were in. The «salsa» I had to pay for ended up being the exact same «hot sauce» they GAVE us with our burritos. That’s ridiculous! Had I known it would have been the same thing I wouldn’t have ordered it.
My boyfriend ordered their tequila lime chicken burrito and they got his order wrong and it wasn’t tequila lime flavored so that was another fail for this place.
Sadly we won’t be returning here. It was over-​priced and not very good.

I had the Tequila Lime Chicken and the Tortilla infused Tilapia tacos and both were great. I thought the Tilapia taco was exceptional. It’s slightly crunchy texture wad great and I would definitely come back for one.
I followed that with an elote. The fact that it was a little spicy made me love it. The spice made sure it didn’t feel too heavy or rich.
Great food overall with fast service and kind staff!

This is my third time here and they never disappoint. The chicken fajita in the bowl is amazing with a little kick to it, the chicken fajita burrito is just as delicious and the steak is even better. I hear the fish tacos are very good so this will be my next order. The place is small though. Four tables placed inside along the side wall with only two chairs per table. They have a small outdoor seating area. Staff is great.
Very nice and accommodating. They even serve alcohol. This is a definite must if you are in the mood for Mexican. SO good!!!

Ordered through Seamless. Delivery was very very fast and courteous.
Tacos were cold. I ordered extra meat — only got it on one of two — and sour cream and avocado. No sour cream, and the avocado was rock solid — unripe, inedible. Why bother? I wasn’t expecting a lot, but got less than expected. Very disappointing. Seamless won’t let me post a review.

Really good tacos! Place is small so make sure if you have a group you stake out some tables first. The veggie tacos are a sleeper because normally I wouldn’t order it and they are actually super good on that grill.
Chicken taco was super filling and really good. One taco and a side, or two tacos is definitely a meal for one person, they don’t skimp on dem taco fixins.

Not properly cooked and the rice was dry, the tacos were stuffed with to much onions, they need to work on there food if there going charge cuisine prices.

I keep coming back for the Stelote Burrito. It might be the best burrito I’ve ever had! I’ve got to force myself to try something else next time. LOL

Carbon is great! Really flavorful and big pieces of chicken and steak in their burritos. Puts Chipotle to shame.
An awful lot of cops are there in the evenings… I wish they offered delivery.

Best burrito I’ve had hands down… A little sketchy looking where it’s located, but food is AMAZING. Recommend the «stelote» –steak, and corn burritodelicious

Awesome food, great prices and laid back.
I was with my husband deciding if we were going to venture to Mercadito, Frontera, or Carnivale for some delicious Latin food. He eagerly suggested Carbon and told me I’d love it. Funny, I did. While you can’t compare Carbon to the high-​end restaurants I named earlier, this is def a neighborhood go-​to place. Yummy Mexican food and a Dos Equis goes a long way.

This review is LONG overdue. My boo and I order Carbon close to a weekly basis. The steak tacos are the best in the city. We hosted my dear sister’s birthday dinner a couple weeks ago, and she requested taco Tuesday. Knowing I had work on the day of the party, I had to act quick. I was extremely pleased to find out that our fav spot caters! Everything from placing the phone order, to delivery, and food quality was TOP NOTCH!
For catering you are able to order by person and customize steak, chicken, veggie, or fish. Included with this comes the rice and beans, elotes, ALL of the topping you could ever imagine (think cheese, cilantro, tomato, etc), tortillas, chips and a million of their amazing salsas. Oh did I mention serving utensils, eating utensils, plates, napkins… the whole nine.
Now drum roll please… all of the above (for 10 people) including the delivery fee… wait for it… $ 150! I thought the man on the phone was literally playing a joke. $ 150!!! And we ate it FOR DAYS!!! We ordered for 10 guests and it could have easily served close to 15.
Not to mention, my guests LOVED the food. Everyone was raving. We ate once… broke out some more tequila and all ate again for a late night feast;) I’m telling you, we couldn’t get enough of the ever tender and juicy steak tacos and bomb elotes. My moth is watering just thinking about it.
Amazing food, amazing price, amazing customer service. I’ve been recommending Carbon to anyone and everyone for their party needs!

I get nervous about eating Mexican the farther from the southwest I get, but if you had any concerns, Mine we definitely unjustified. Not a big place so I wouldn’t go sit down and eat, but for passing through or taking out the food is fantastic
First, You will not leave hungry. The burritos have just enough vegetables to justify adding them as an ingredient on the menu and are bigger around than most arms. The steak and chicken burritos in addition to having amazing grilled flavor come with kickin sauce and are solid meat.
The quesadillas will get your cheese fiix and still pack enough meat to be a meal in themselves and you gotta get some of the red pepper sauce to dip in.
I’ve had better elotes but it’ll do the job and that was the only shortcoming to this place. We went and picked our food up, but they do deliver on grubhub and we might do that next time, and there will be a next time.

Such great food! I always get their taco salad with the tilapia, because I’m obsessed!

What has happened to this place.
What is going on with the customer service
And more then that the quality of the food.
This is a very well known place in this area.
But it’s not the same as I write this review I’m thinking about the open kitchen should be updated and cleaned up. It was just to busy with a pot on the grill and chicken cooking on the grill all at the same time. No no no
The Cashier just took my order she never even looked at me she took my debit card and then she said did you wont cheese because I forgot to ask and if you do I can just charge your card.
Really. No thank you because that’s not how that works. Not with my card.
