CPC has a new, amazing, purpose built printmaking space! As an artist, it is a delightfully efficient and pleasant studio to work out of. There great lighting and layout, a wide array of international artwork, an enormous amount of printmaking equipment and experience, and a great class selection. Visitors who have come in the past to shows at the old location will be stunned when the see and experience artwork hung in this new venue!

I love this place. Local artist work for sale, classes available. Amazing place to buy gifts for nearly anyone. Many chicago-themed items, and a wide variety of other pieces. Very reasonable prices, great people who work there. Highly recommended. Sign up to get their emails, so you can know when the annual Small Print Show is scheduled. Really wonderful.

Love this place. I just did all my Christmas shopping in one swoop after wondering for months what that building was across from the Western brown line stop. Everything from $ 2 prints and up, magnets, stationary, teeshirts. I once asked a friend what she wanted for her birthday and she said«something small and authentic.» If that sounds like a friend you know, shop here – this place is a gem.

This is a really great space, populated by really wonderful people, that makes me wish I had creative leaning towards the visual arts. The small combination studio and gallery offers artists a place to work, show, teach and learn. It’s everything an artists collaborative ought to be. I dropped by a week or so ago to check out the small print show and was thoroughly impressed, despite the fact that much of the work from the original opening had been sold and replaced with new work. Director Deborah Lader gave us a brief overview of the show and the space and was a perfect host. She made it clear if we had any questions that she was available to answer them without hovering over us like a store clerk or lecturing us like a teacher. I’m definitely already looking forward to their next event. Wish I had known about the place sooner.

Stopped by to check out the small print art show and overall was very impressed. The art ranged from screenprints to jewelry, and the vast majority of it was under $ 100. There were some real standouts, such as the absolutely gorgeous letterpress stationary and the funky neon prints of Chicago Ave in West Town. If you are looking to snap up some art at reasonable prices or enjoy some art classes in the Lincoln Square neighborhood, then CPC offers a great place to start.

I took an overview class here a couple years ago. It was a great introduction to all the different printmaking processes they teach and you were able to get a feel for each of the teachers. I want to go back and take every single class they offer but I have to wait until my time and cash free up a bit. I can see this being an obsession waiting to happen. They have small print shows every once in a while. So, sign up on their website if you would like to be notified about them. It gives you a good reason to go in and take a looksie if you’re a curious cat.
