I survived on Chicago Raw during my visit to the Windy City. Of course, after I decided to spend all of October eating raw /living foods, I was assigned to go on a work trip to the city of deep dish pizza and Italian beef. My favorite items were the raw pizza, raw ravioli and the lemon square. All the portions were HUGE. I wish they’d sell half portions. One piece of that raw pizza had me beyond full(but not too full to eat half of that ginormous lemons square.) I wasted a lot of food, since I was visiting from out of town and had no place to store the leftovers. Five stars for the quality and convince of the raw food — but this location is inside a Whole Foods, not a place to sit and eat, and most of the times I went there, there was nobody working at the Chicago Raw counter. Twice there was an employee, one who seemed to know nothing about raw foods, she was just there to be sweet and offer samples. The second time, the person actually was able to answer my questions about the food items, and to make helpful recommendations based on my preferences and allergies.
