I had an issue with my flight and ended up staying at O’Hare Airport a few hours longer than I planned, so I had time to grab something to eat. My traveling companion on this trip has food allergies, so I asked her to pick a place to eat. She said that she could surely find something on the menu at Chili’s, so we stopped. They were crowded but there were still quite a few open tables. We were seated quickly, but it took our server over 10 minutes to stop at our table. We started to place our order; my friend ordered a salad that didn’t contain items she couldn’t eat, and then asked for just oil and vinegar for dressing. Our server told us they only vinaigrette. That didn’t work. We asked for an allergy menu, and our server said she would get it, and came back about 5 minutes later with a three ring note binder. Some restaurants have high tech tablets that allow you to select your allergy/allergies and then make recommendations on the menu. Not here. Instead, you get a photocopied piece of paper with the items highlighted either a yellow highlighter. After looking at the piece of paper, she ordered something else. They didn’t have it. She ordered something else on the menu, they didn’t have it either. At this point, we were getting a little frustrated and asked if she was sure they didn’t have oil and vinegar. She promised they didn’t. We asked for a manager. She said she would get him. He never appeared, but she did come back with a little thing of oil and vinegar After that ordeal was over, I placed my order. Grilled salmon with steamed broccoli and rice. No substitutions on mine, and they did a good job with it. Salmon was flavored very well and the broccoli had a nice bite to it. While my meal was okay, this was an we opening experience for me. Chili’s is NOT a good place to go if you have a food allergy. The servers don’t have much training on how to handle it. At one point our server suggested that we just get a hamburger without the bun,‘apparently thinking everyone only has a gluten allergy.

Terrible service. Restaurant was really dirty and greasy. Another waitress dropped a drink on the ground and instead of cleaning it she took a salt shaker from a table and dumped all the salt over the spill. Our waitress had the worst attitude. I love Chili’s but must say the Chili’s too at Chicago airport is just plain awful.

Tried the new«healthy» margarita chicken bowl. After I piled it on the edge of the bowl and let the sweet, oily fake-lime goop drain out of the wilted warm lettuce it was kinda ok.

DONOTEATHERE! My wife and I ate here before her flight. I had the chicken avocado sandwich with bacon and she had house salad with chicken. Food tasted ok but 12 hours later I started vomiting with diarrhea then called my wife and she had the same symptoms. I knew then we had food poisoning from the chicken. Doing some research we are not the only ones to get poisoned.

To Whom It May Concern, I was in Chicago O’Hare airport for a layover on my way to Italy for a study abroad trip. A few friends and I had not eating that day, so we decided to stop in to Chili’s for a quick sandwhich before we boarded our flight. What a mistake that was. I ordered your Turkey bacon club sandwhich, which came with avocado. After a few bites, I noticed that something didn’t taste right, but due to my hunger and not eating that day, I continued to eat the sandwhich. During my flight, I started to feel sick. Being an experienced traveler, I know this was not due to the flight. I continuously threw up 22 times during the flight, and this lasted for the next day and a half. I missed my tour of the Colloseum and the Vatican due to this which I am extremely angry about. I went to the hospital in Italy where I was informed that I did NOT have the flu, nor any other virus or sickness, and the only conclusion was food poisoning. Being in the restaraunt industry myself, nothing makes me more upset than not taking the proper care when preparing food. I had been a very big fan of Chili’s before, but after this experience, I will never EVER eat at another Chili’s again. I’m extremely dissapointed that a place where so many people eat, can be so incompetently absentminded when it comes to serving people food. I just wanted to inform you of the situation, so that hopefully another poor soul such as myself, will never have to experience the hell I went through. It completely ruined my trip. Please inform your staff that they need to take better care when preparing food. Sincerely, A very angry customer.

Food was surprisingly delicious — Santa Fe salad — also on the smaller divide. The hostess however was certainly in the wrong place and made clear you are aware of how much she dislikes her job: slow, unfriendly look, rolling eyes when changing table. Seriously, Gabrielle?

Ugh. Ugh. Ugh. Ugh. Ugh. Ugh. Do not eat here. I was meeting up with my folks at O’Hare to fly on to our final destination and they wanted to meet at Chili’s Too because it was near our gate. Thank goodness we had plenty of time before catching our flight. What should have been an easy and quick breakfast turned into an ordeal that lasted more than an hour. What the hell is the kitchen doing back there? It’s just eggs! To make people wait that long for breakfast anywhere is ridiculous. But, as my dad put it, it is downright«derelict» to make people wait who have flights to catch. My mom was actually getting up from the table to just leave when they brought out the food. The waitress, despite us asking, never once followed up with us about where our order was. The manager never stopped by to apologize for the delay or even checked in. When we approach the person who appeared to be in charge, she just smiled at us and glad handled us in a manner that was short of telling us to F off. Steer clear of this place and go to the McDonald’s around the corner if you need a meal.

Place is neat and has a good atmosphere. But the quality of the food here isn’t all that amazing. Still they tasted really good. Price is just right and nothing much to be impressed about.

They say airport food is bad. This Chili’s is the worst offender! I ordered the Santa Fe Chicken Salad: cold chicken that was way overseasoned with spice, almost too hot to eat, and the lettuce had brown edges and dry(obviously not fresh). My friend ordered a chicken sandwich with veggies. The chicken sandwich was cold so we sent it back. The waitress returned with the same but slightly warmer sandwich which was now rubbery(microwave much?). And the veggies were dry. And the lady in the adjacent table was eating chili that looked like dog food. Avoid this place!

Hostess a cow… tried to sit 2 adults &1 toddler(highchair) at a table for two. Must have liked it since every other party was first offered that table. The redeeming factor was Lalaine was awesome. When our server was I attentive, she happened to be in the iChat place at the right time and fixed hubby’s sub-par burger.

In the morning, they serve breakfast only. This is kinda dumb, since Chili’s/regular Chili’s/Chili’s Original doesn’t serve breakfast at all. And the breakfast menu is extremely limited, maybe 5 options, AND the breakfast was terrible. It reminded me of a cheap hotel’s continental breakfast. Our waitress didn’t offer refills(and the beverages are airport-expensive) and acted bothered when we asked for silverware. Not again!

You are in the airport. People have time constraints. I can’t wait for 15minutes until someone finally come by to take my order. Simply, you suck.

Stopped in for breakfast thinking it would be marginally better than McDonalds… I was wrong. Coffee was weak and not fresh. With the poor selection I figured breakfast tacos would be the best choice. The scrambled eggs were luke warm and tasted like they came from a buffet breakfast at a 2 star hotel. The shredded cheese was cold and the soft taco shell was hard on the edges. My hunger and the somewhat spicy pico were the only things that enabled me to choke this down.

Wow, I see a lot of one star reviews for this place… not sure what people are expecting from an airport Chili’s, because… well, it’s an airport Chili’s. I actually had a decent meal here, but maybe that’s because I got a Presidente Margarita first and that blurred my memory of the actual meal a bit. We were seated quickly. The waitress took awhile to get to us but once she did service was polite and consistent. I had a chicken sandwich, b/f had the boneless wings. My sandwich was fine… hot, crisp and flavorful. The boneless wings were standard; nothing special but nothing awful. The Presidente Margaritas were good. B/f got another type, it was the second one on the menu and that was very tart so I’d say stick with the Presidente. Here’s my reason for 3 stars… at an airport restaurant if the food is decently prepared, the staff are nice and they don’t insult you or smack you upside the head while you’re eating, you’re going to get an A-OK in my book. If I want fine dining, then I’ll go to White Castle and expect to judge accordingly!

Given the hour I was there, my connection gate, and my terrible experience waiting at Wolfgang Puck’s place for 10 minutes without anyone even acknowledging my presence… Chilis seemed to be the place to go. After a delayed arrival and a 3-hour layover, all I wanted was a tall, ice cold beer. Bud Light to the rescue… plastic cup. I ordered some soup… plastic spoon… and a Caribbean salad deal… plastic fork…, which were served really quickly by my Chicago Airport Chilis foreign-born best friend, Marcelina. She was quick, nice, and always around when I needed something. The extent of our conversation didn’t go beyond her saying things like«food now?» and«more beer now?» but there was something about our lack of unnecessary dialogue that earned her a solid 20% tip. Sure, its not the biggest Chilis in the world, and the menu is kind of limited, and you eat with, off, and drink out of everything plastic(I understand the utensils, but a real plate or bowl would have been nice) but it’s a solid option for a quick meal in between flights. Stop by. Have a drink. Eat something. Fly elsewhere.

Just to be clear, I ate at he Chili’s Too located by the E/F Concourses. Like others have mentioned, you have to remember where you are… at an airport. That being said, this really isn’t a bad location. It’s a Chili’s Too, so the dinner menu is a bit truncated. No worries, though, as there’s plenty of food. The appetizer menu is pretty complete, and there’s still the standard selection on salads and burgers. I had the bacon cheeseburger and it came out just fine. Had it with two tall Bud Light drafts, both of which were delivered in a timely manor. The place was clean, the food was on par for a Chili’s, and the staff was friendly. This is a place I’d seek out if I were at O’Hare looking for a place to eat. Were there negative points? Sure. But I believe these are due more to the airport setting than the establishment. The line was lengthy, and I waited for about 20 minutes for a small table for 1. All the lines were long, though, as a ton of flights had been canceled or delayed. Anywhere worth eating, you’re going to wait a minute or two. Once seated, it was a bit cramped. They really do pack the tables in, but it’s a catch-22. More tables to help reduce wait time. Food was quick, but it was also pricey. To be more specific, though, the alcohol was pricey. Burger with fries was about $ 7.99. The beer was $ 7.38 each. Not fun to pay, but I imagine this is standard price for any bar in a Chicago airport. Like I said at the top, just remember where you are… at an airport. $ 30 for a burger and two beers. A bit steep, but they were good and hit the spot for a traveler in need. I’d eat here again.

This is actually called Chilis Too and the only places I have seen these before are in airport terminals. There’s also one in LAX. If you’re looking for the largest amount of fat and sodium you can find, this Chilis has all that too. Expect to wait a long time to get seated as everyone else addicted to this salt and fat flavor explosion will be in line in front of you.

One of relatively few sit-down options in Terminal 2. The wait wasn’t bad and the service OK. I got the nachos with no meat and was pleasantly surprised; each tortilla piece was layered with beans and covered in cheese. If you’re a vegetarian, this is basically what you’re getting. The molten chocolate dessert, however, was a real disappointment. It wasn’t molten(perhaps they didn’t reheat sufficiently?) and the ice cream scoop on top was a pre-scooped, single-portion scoop which tasted largely of stabilizers.

Chili’s at Terminal 1 Concourse B — often the only choice besides the bagel place across from it. Service is slow and selective(they only really serve those from whom they think they will get very high tips) They don’t have the nachos so only remaining vegetarian option is their veggie burger
