It’s the comfort station. It’s cool and in Logan, you can chill there, and there’s art there sometimes… what’s not to like about that!

The comfort station is a little exhibit space that hosts different types of local art. It is nice to have something like this in Logan Square that is free to enter and check out what is going on in the local art community. They don’t have restrooms but they usually provide some water while viewing. They had an exhibit here on the coming Bloomingdale trail planning on the old elevated railroad tracks. I think this space is pretty neat and it is a perfect fit for the Logan Square neighborhood.

I never knew what this place was besides a little house on the square. It never seemed open but low and behold during the Milwaukee Arts festival the doors were open and they were featuring the Bloomingdale Trail pictures and maps. The place is small but a great place for artists to show their work. I believe they also host movies there but I have yet to check one of those out.

I’ve yet to experience all that comfort station Logan Square has to offer(since I just moved into the neighborhood), but what I’ve been to so far has been awesome. Free movie screenings, music, art, etc. It’s really a wonderful community space, and I wish every neighborhood in Chicago had one.
